Hope is a New Road
“Hope like a road in the country; there wasn't ever
a road, but when many people walk on it,
the road comes into existence.”
Lin Yutang, Chinese writer

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Hope is a new road.

Hope is a lot like creating a new path, where no road has been in the past.

As you walk in the direction of hope you create a new path where none as existed in the past. Over time your path of hope will become the new road for your success journey.

With persistent your hope will become an expressway moving in the direction of your goals at an accelerated pace.

Keep your hope alive . . . . and keep the vision of your hope in your mind until you achieve the desired results.

Hope is a new road that you pave with your hope and aspirations.

Direction, is More Important Than Speed

Direction, is More Important Than Speed
“Speed is useful only important if you are running
In the right direction.”
Joel Barker, Future Edge

As I see it . . . . . . .
Direction, is more important than speed

I’m late; I’m late for an important date

“I’m late; I’m late for A very important date. No time to
say hello, good-bye, I’m late and when I wave, I lose
time, to save. My fuzzy ears and whiskers took
me too much time to shave. I run and I hop,
hop, hop, I wish that I could fly. There’s
danger id I dare to Stop and here’s the
reason why: I’m over-due, I’m in
 a rabbit stew. Can’t even
say good-bye,
Hello, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late.”

As sang by White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland

We all know people like White Rabbit . . . . There hurrying around from pillar to post leaving a trail of dust behind them. But they’re not going anywhere fast.

They’re moving as fast as they can go from task to task. There’s a lot of motion but there’s very little . . . . or no progress. They have all the balls in the air . . . . and will juggle as many as they can at any one time. But when everything is said . . . . and done juggling doesn't get things.

Positive focused activity . . . . gets things done.

It’s the direction that your success journey in moving in that’s important not the speed.

You will be judged on the quality of what you successfully complete . . . . and the quality of your work. Fast is not a substitute for quality and in most cases it will not create satisfied customers . . . . repeat business . . . . or referrals.

Your success journey is not about the speed of the success journey. It’s about the direction that you’re headed in and creates the stepping stones of successes along the way to achieve your goals.

Going fast may look good or feel good at the time . . . . but activity without a focused directions . . . . and quality results leaves a trail of unfulfilled promises. It will also take you off course to the point where it becomes very challenging to get back on track . . . . and to successfully move in the direction of achieving your goals.

When you focus on your objections . . . . and commit yourself to achieving them you will progress in the right direction.

I’m late; I’m late for an important date is not a substitute for quality.

Direction, is more important than speed.

Open Your Mind . . . . to Expand it

Open Your Mind . . . . to Expand It
“If you believe you are born with all the smarts and gifts
you’ll ever have, you tend to approach life with a
fixed mind-set. However, those who believe
that their abilities can be expand over
time live with a growth mind-set and
they’re much more innovative.”
Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, Authority on Management

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Open you mind . . . . to expand it

What you do during your life is a matter of your choices . . . . and you condition your choices by your mind-set.

You can believe that you were born with all the talent . . . . and abilities that you will ever need. Or we can believe that you can accumulate new knowledge . . . . and develop new skills that will propel you forward to unlimited opportunities.

What you believe is your choice.

What you do is your choice.

When you expand your mind . . .  you open your mind to new possibilities . . . . and unlimited opportunities.

If you look at things with a closed mind you will have a very narrow view of the world . . . . and you will miss opportunities . . . .and limit your success.

See the world as a one of world of unlimited opportunities and expand your mind . . . .  to expand it, to grow to capture those opportunities.

The Key is to Define Your Goals . . . .

The Key is to Define Your Goals . . . .

There is a Fountain of Youth

There is a Fountain of Youth
“There is a fountain of youth, your talents, the creativity
you bring to your life and the lives of the people you
love. When you learn to rap this source,
you will truly have defeated age.”
Sophia Loren, Actress

As I see it . . . . . . .
There is a fountain of youth

For thousands of years people have searched the world for the fountain of youth . . . . and they didn’t realize that the fountain of youth was within their reach.

The fountain of youth is in your heart . . . . and in the way you live your life . . . . and not in the number of years in the life.

When you surround yourself with people that you care for . . . . and you love them will find the spirit of the fountain of youth in your relationships. The people in your life will treat you in like kind . . . . and will bring happiness . . . . and fulfillment into your live.

Your relationships will keep you young at heart . . . . young in spirit . . . . and bring sunshine into your life.

You will discover the fountain of youth in your heart when you allow the wonderment of your inner child to come to the surface.

There are times that we have to look at the world through the eyes of a child. As a child tries to learn how to ride a bike, they will fall down . . . . and they will get up and try again. The process will continue until they learn how to ride the bike. The child will forget about falling down . . . . and remember the joy of learning to ride the bike.

A child will fall and try again. The fountain of youth is in picking yourself up after you fall.

When a child is told no . . . . they ask and ask again. You have to continue to ask.

A child knows . . . . how to say I’m sorry.

A child knows . . . . how to give and receive unconditional love.

Our childhood is a wonderful time of discovery.

A child knows . . . . how cry . . . . and how to shake it off.

Most of all children enjoy life . . . . and playing in the sandbox.

You will find the fountain of youth is in your heart . . . . and surrounding yourself with the people that you care for and love.

There is a fountain of youth . . . . it’s found in enjoying your life . . . .  enjoying playing in the sandbox . . . . and in getting up after you fall.

Friends are More Valuable Then Fine Jewels

Friends are More Valuable Then Fine Jewels
“True friends are like jewels, precious and rare.
False ones are like autumn leaves, found everywhere.”
Source unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Friends are more valuable then fine jewels

Both friends and jewels are precious . . . . and rare to find. Many times you don’t really recognize their true value at the first glance. But the longer you have a friend the more valuable they become.

Value and protect both as they are hard to come by. You may be able to replace fine jewels . . .  . but a true friend may not be replaceable.

Good friends are rare to find . . . . and become one of your most precious of resource that you have on your success journey.

A good friend can be counted on in your time of need . . . . and will be there to support you without be asked.

Friends are more valuable then fine jewelry . . . . because both are precious. But there is also a big difference between friends and fine jewelry you can always replace fine jewelry at a cost. Friends can’t be replaced at any cost.

Children are Truly Amazing

Children are Truly Amazing
“You are never too old to set another goal
or to dream a new dream.”
C.S. Lewis 1898 - 1963, Irish Novelist, Poet, Academic,
Medievalist Literary Critic and Essayist

As I see it . . . . . . .
Children are truly amazing

Your goals and dreams . . . . will keep you young at heart.

Children are amazing . . . . they can tell you beginning at a very early age what they want for their birthday . . . .and what they want for Christmas. The child early wants “are goals” . . . . and they will share thire goals with their parents and grandparents at every opportunity starting at a very young age.

As a youngster the children continue to set goals for their wants. They want to learn how to swim, ride a bike, and want to learn to play a sport or an musical instrument. Children have a continuous moving target of want goals.

Young children will be able to tell you what they want to be when they grow up . . . . and they have both dreams and goals starting at an early age.

Our grandson Jeff who’s has scanned the Sunday’s Toy For Us ads and has a wish list since he was four.

As a child gets older they can tell you what car they want by model, year and color. They can also tell you what college they want to attend.

But an amazing thing happens to children starting in our late teens and accelerates as they mature into adulthood they stop dreaming and setting goals.

You are never too young . . . . or too old to dream . . . . and to set a new goal.

Reignite the enthusiasm of your inner child . . . . and create the want list of goals and dreams for your future.  Move forward into your future with a renew enthusiasm for life.

When you see the world through the eyes of a child everything is possible. When you have the enthusiasm of a child everything becomes possible . . . . and within your reach.

Goals and dreams keep you young at heart . . . . and you are never too young to dream . . . .  or too old to set new goals.

Children are truly amazing . . . . have the heart and enthusiasm of your inner child and you will see the world in a new light.

Your Intentions + Your Actions = Your Success

Your Intentions + Your Actions = Your Success
“You cannot change anything in your life with intention
alone, which can become a watered-down, occasional
hope that you’ll get to tomorrow.
Intention with action is unless.”
Caroline Myss, Author
As I see it . . . . . . .
Your intentions + Your actions = Your success

Intentions get your mind working . . .  gets you thinking. But intentions without action can become a distraction . . . . and leads to nowhere. Also carrying unfulfilled intentions around with you without taking action becomes excess baggage that weights you down and slows your forward progress.

Intentions alone will not move you closer to achieve your goals . . . . and can very likely create reverse momentum that moves further away from achieving your goals or fulfilling your potential.

Your intentions + your actions will start your engine . . . . and get you moving. Point the engine in the right directions . . . . and it will move you in the direction of achieving goals.

Your intentions + Your actions = Your success

An intention with a plan becomes a goal. When you have the intention . . . . and put a plan into action you create the opportunities for greater success.

The intensity of your intentions combined with the intensity of your actions will move you forward in the direction of achieving greater success.

An intention starts as a dream . . . . or a hope. When you take action on your intentions . . . . you create the formula for success. Your intentions + Your actions = Your success.

Where There’s a Will There is a Way

Where There’s a Will There is a Way
“Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe 1749 – 1832,
German Writer and Statesman

As I see it . . . . . . .
Where there’s a will there is a way

When you have the will to create a result . . . . or to achieve a goal there will be a way for you to create the desired results. That way will not be handed to you . . . . you have to work for it.

If you want it bad enough you’ll find the way to accomplish it. You’ll have to make a way . . . . or find the way . . . . but the way is there for you when you seek it out.

You will see the way when you have the desire to create the results . . . . and you will make the way when you put the efforts into action to achieve the results.

You have to be willing to begin . . . . to step into your success journey with the confidence that you will succeed. And consistently engage in the activities that will move you in the direction of your desired results.

Where there’s a will there is a way . . . . when you believe there is a way you’ll find the way. When you take the actions to achieve your desired results that you want you will find yourself moving closer the your goals.

Learn the Rules and Play to Win

Learn the Rules and Play to Win
“You have to learn the rules of the game.
And then you have to play better than anyone else.”
Albert Einstein 1879 - 1955, Noble Prize of Physics
Theoretical Physicist and Philosopher, Developed the
General Theory of Relativity

As I see it . . . . . . .
Learn the rules and play to win

Games have rules . . . . without a clear understanding of the rules it becomes almost impossible to play the game with any effectiveness and there is little likelihood of winning.

The rules become the guidelines . . . . on the way the game is played.

If your objective is to play the game competitively you have to learn the rules.

Once you learn the rules of the game . . . . and have a strong understand on the way the game is played you increase the odds of winning the game.

Learning the rules . . . . and mastering the game creates a competitive advantage. Learning the game . . . . and playing the game better than your opponents creates the winners edge.

Learn the rules . . . . and then to master the rules.

Throughout your life you are learning the rules. To be competitive in your profession you have to first learn the rules and to become competitive you have to master the rules. To succeed you have to learn to play by the rules better than your competition.

Learn the rules and play to win.
