Our Personal Energy Clock

Motivational Power Quote

Our Personal Energy Clock

“You can’t turn back the clock,
but you can wind it up again.”
Bonnie Pridden

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Our days become perishable once the time has passed; the time can never be recaptured.

The key with time becomes choosing how to spend our time wisely. Will we invest our time, or will we spend our time? The choice becomes critical.

When we invest our time with purpose the results are like an annuity. We are able to reach back to our past choices and make withdrawals from those efforts and apply them to the present, with dividends. When the time is spent it’s gone forever, and unless we use our time wisely there will be very little value attached to that time.

We can’t go back to change our choices of the past on how our time was invested or used, but we can focus on the future to ensure that we will invest our time effectively from today forward to maximize our results.

Looking For the Good in People

Motivational Power Quote

Looking For the Good in People

“If you look for the bad in people
expecting to find it,
you surely will.”
Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Looking for the good in people.

Our opinion of other people becomes very powerful.

That opinion will reflect in our attitude about the person, the way we treat people, and the way others treat us.

If we were too continually to look for the bad in people we may find ourselves looking into a mirror. For what we see in other’s we will find in ourselves.

Look for the good and you will find it.

Look For Solutions Not Excuses

Motivational Power Quote

Look For Solutions Not Excuses

“Ninety-nine percent of failures
come from people who have the
habit of making excuses.”
George Washington Carver

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Look for solutions not excuses.

Successful people will look for solutions and not excuses.
Successful people will see the problem as an opportunity.
Successful people will be proactive in solving the problem.
Successful people put the odds on their side and become a magnet for continued success.

Successful people see things that other people don’t see and form the habits that make them successful.

Let Your Abilities Grow and Blossom

Motivational Power Quote

Let Your Abilities Grow and Blossom

“Abilities wither under faultfinding,
blossom with encouragement.”
Donald A. Laird

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Our abilities will grow and blossom with positive encouragement.

Encouragement can come from either an external source or can be internal.

The encouragement from others can have a major impact on our life and our success. Lack of encouragement and faultfinding can become devastating to a person and lead to a life of underachievement.

The most important source of encouragement comes from within. Our internal self talk becomes a powerful influence and will either accelerate us on our success journey or derail us.

When you speak to yourself be encouraging and positive and let your abilities grow and blossom.

Let the Sunshine In

Motivational Power Quote

Let the Sunshine In

“Most of the shadows of this life
are caused by our standing
in our own sunshine.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Go into the sunshine and
enjoy the warmth and the glow.

Don’t create shadows in your life by blocking your sunshine with negative thinking or a poor attitude.

Let the sunshine radiate in every aspect of your life. See the best in people and opportunities. Have gratitude and appreciation for what you have, don’t focus on what you don’t have at this time.

Let the sunshine create the energy for our success journey and power us to our desired outcome.

Keep the Faith

there were any guarantees of success,
but because the act of striving is
in itself the only way
to keep faith with life.”

Keep the Faith.

One more step, one more day, just a little longer keep moving forward striving to reach your desired outcome.

Look past the obstacles. . . . . .

Grasp the Opportunity

Motivational Power Quote

Grasp the Opportunity

“Do not wait for
extraordinary circumstances
to do good;
try to use ordinary situations.”
Jean Paul Richter, (1796-1825) German novelist

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Grasp the opportunity.

Success will come to those that can make the most of the circumstance at hand and turn the challenges of the circumstance into an opportunity.

Grasp the circumstance that we’re facing; look for the solutions. Once we identify the solutions, put those solutions in the form of a plan and take positive action.

Don’t wait for a special moment or and extraordinary circumstance to occur. Grasp the moment and circumstance at hand.

Our greatest opportunities occur by turning an ordinary situation into extraordinary opportunity.

Face Your Challenges Head On

Motivational Power Quote

Face Your Challenges Head On

“Not everything that is faced can be changed,
but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
James Baldwin

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Challenging situations are a fact of life and can surface at any moment, normally when we least expect them.

Many of the situations we face will appear to be out of our control with no possibility of change.

Once we have the courage to face our challenges head on, we can determine what is under our control and what we can’t control. Most importantly we need to seek the solutions for what we can control and make the changes under our control.

We also need to determine how to work though the things that are out of our control.

With both we are seeking progress.

Dream Your Dreams Until They Come True

Motivational Power Quote

Dream Your Dreams Until They Come True

“Happy are those
who dream dreams
and are ready to pay the price
to make them come true.”
Leon J. Suenens

As I see it. . . . . . . .
The happiest people are those who dream.

Be willing to dream your dreams.

Open your heart and mind to dream of all the possibilities. The larger your dreams the larger the possibilities become.

Fulfilling your dreams comes with a price. You need to have to pay the price of persistence and determination to see your dream through. Put your dreams in writing; to help guide you on the journey and keep you focused on achieving your dreams.

Be willing to extend yourself everyday to move towards fulfilling your dreams.

When the road gets rough it is important to stay focused on your dream and to stay on course, you need to be willing to do the work to make your dreams come true.

“Many people die with their music still in them.
Why is this so?
Too often it is because they are
always getting ready to live.
Before they know it, time runs out.”
Oliver Wendell Holmes

David Wiemers

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Doing Something Worthwhile

Motivational Power Quote

Doing Something Worthwhile

“Real joy comes not from ease or riches
or from the praise of men,
but from doing something worthwhile.”
Sir Wilfred Grenfell (1865-1940)

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Doing something worthwhile . . . .

When we do things that we consider worthwhile the time passes quickly because we enjoy what we are doing.

The task seems to move forward with little effort.

We find joy in our work and find ourselves giving extra effort not because we’re asked; but because we’re enjoying what we are doing.

The secret is to find something worthwhile, and you will never work another day and you will enjoy the journey.

Discovering Two Stepping Stones of Success

Motivational Power Quote

Discovering Two Stepping Stones of Success

“Develop success from failure.
Discouragement and failure
are two of the surest
stepping stones to success.”
Dale Carnegie, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Discovering the two stepping stones of success will open the doors to unlimited opportunities and success.

Our learning experience of today creates the foundation for tomorrow, and helps to establish our success and achievements.

Two of the firmest stepping stones of success come from our failure and discouragement.

The lessons can become harsh and have a lasting impact. The key becomes not to react, but to respond to our challenges, the decisions we make, the actions we take, and to be able to control our emotions.

Developing success from the ashes of failure and discouragement is a matter of choice with the foundation being within our attitude.
