Reduce your stress . . . . Finish what you start.


When we start a project and leave it unfinished we create anxiety. That anxiety will grow under the weight of unfinished work and will create stress.


The weight of that stress feels like we’ve mentally carrying 100 pounds of excess baggage around with us every minute of the day. As the weight of that baggage continues to grow will become both physically and mentally exhausted to the point to where we can’t successfully function.


Stress causes sleepless nights, worry, inaction and poor decisions. Under stress we not longer function effectively and our thinking becomes distorted to the point where we are not longer productive.


Finish what you start and the stress will evaporate.

Walking around in the sunshine with the umbrella up in case it rains is worrying about something that may or may not happen. It is also a total waste of energy.


We can’t control the weather, but can control when we put our umbrella up.


If we’re worrying and carrying those worries around with us it’s feels like walking around carrying a fifty pound weight in both hands. It will wear us out.


We can’t control what happens to us; but we can control how we respond to it and what we do about it.


Worrying will not resolve what happens to us it makes things worst, it clouds our thinking and our actions.


Put up your umbrella when it raining and enjoy the sunshine in your life.

Don’t put it off until tomorrow


The art of procrastination is putting off what can be done today until tomorrow. We know when that when the sun comes up in the morning that tomorrow is another day away. So for a procrastinator tomorrow will never come, and what was put off today will never get done.


The procrastinator will die a slow death caused by dragging their feet and complicated by a case of postponement.


If you find yourself with the symptoms of procrastination clarify your purpose, and take the actions to stay on that purpose and achieve your desired results.


Don’t put it off until tomorrow do what has to be done today and you will lighten the loan on your success journey.

Procrastination is a slow death


A procrastinator dies a slow death; they die a little more each day by putting things off. It becomes a slow and painful death of one’s career and creeps into every aspect of our lives.


Procrastination drains the essences of our energy and kills the spark of our motivation.


Prioritize what has to be done by there importances. Put your priorities into a written list by their order of importances. Develop a plan to achieve your priorities and put your plan into action to complete the tasks by there order of importances.


Commit yourself to take the necessary actions to successfully achieve closure to each item on that list and start to complete your list today.


Never put off what can be done today until tomorrow.


Putting things off moves a person in the direction of a life of procrastination and procrastination is a slow death. Grasp your day and do what has to be done to make progress in your life and career and do it today.

Problems won’t improve with age


Find a way to resolve the problem as soon as it reasonably possible. Seek out workable solutions and move forward to resolve the issue.


Unresolved problems will compound and create bigger issues. The longer the problem goes unresolved the more challenging the problem becomes. More of your time will be required to resolve the issue with most on the time will be wasted.


Resolving a problem quickly will save you time, energy and you will experience peace of mind with a lot less stress.


Problems won’t improve with age find a way to resolve them now and to get on with your life.

We can seek help to gain additional information to successfully complete a project. Or we may seek help to turn around our lives or career.


There are times asking for help is a simple thing and all we need to do ask; at other times asking for help will take courage for us to ask.


No matter what the circumstances may be have the strength to ask for the help that you need. You will find that there will be a person willing to step forward to lend you their hand.


Sincerely asking for help is not a sign weakness. Asking is personal awareness that you have a situation that you want to either change or to bring to a successful conclusion that requires additional input or assistances.


When help is required the worst thing that we can do is not ask. When you need help asking for it is a sign of personal strength.
