The Price of Experience Can be a Variable Cost

Motivational Power Quote

The Price of Experience Can be a Variable Cost
Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.”
Oscar Wilde 1854 - 1900, Irish Author, Poet, Playwright

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The price of experience

There is a price that you pay for your experience. That price is the mistakes that you make along the way to accumulate the know-how . . . . so that you don’t repeat the mistakes in the future.

The most costly price that you pay for your experience . . . . is by not learning the lessons from the past and doubling drown and making the same mistake again.

Use each mistake as a positive building block . . . . for your future success.   Understand what has taken place in the situation. Know what you did right  . . . . and what you would do again.

Isolate what went wrong and why. Determine what you could have done to change the outcome. What you would do in the future to create a successful outcome to the same situation.

Every experience that we have is . . . . a learning experience no matter if it’s a successful experience or an experience where everything has gone wrong.

In both cases learn the lessons and move forward with your newly found knowledge.

The price of experience can be a variable cost. When you learn from your mistakes and make a commitment not to repeat them you lower the price for your experience and accelerate your success journey.

Keep Your Focus on the Finish Line

Motivational Power Quote

Keep Your Focus on the Finish Line
You win some, you lose some, you wreck some.”
Dale Earnhardt 1951 - 2001, Professional Auto Racer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Keep your focus on the finish line

Some people view their success journey . . . . as an auto race.

They will win some of the races that will move them closer to their . . . . goal of crossing the finish line. But they also understand that one race or one win . . . . does not make a career. Each win in the stepping stone to achieving your goal of crossing the finish line and to move into the winner’s circle of life.

You will lose some . . . . and there are the times that you have to keep the faith in yourself . . . . and try again until you succeed. As any professional auto racer will tell you . . . . You can’t win them all. But you have to give a 100% in every race and continue to try.

You’re going wreck some and those wrecks are the failure’s that you encounter in your success journey. After a winner experience a wreck in your life or a failure they get back into the car . . . . and run the next race. Understand that a failure is a temporary condition and . . . . in order to win you have to continue to try.

Keep your focus on the finish line . . . . and not the distraction and you’ll cross the finish line and into the winner’s circle of life.

The Result of Your Choices

Motivational Power Quote

The Result of Your Choices
Everything that is happening at this moment
is a result of choices you’ve made in the past.”
Deepak Chopra, author speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The result of your choices

Your choices of yesterday make you who you are today. The choices you make today . . . . will make your tomorrows and who you become.

Everyday becomes a building block for your future. How you assemble those blocks to support the weight of your success journey . . . . will be your choice.

This very moment time is a culmination of your past choices

You can’t go back and change the past nor should you live there. But it’s within your control to change the future through your choices that you have not yet to be made.

The results of your choices . . . . become a powerful force in your life. . . .  and once that force is released it will form your future.

Motivational Power Quote

Doers Get It Done as the Non-Doer is Watching
A non-doer is very often a critic - - that is someone who
sits back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically
about the doers are doing, it’s easy to be a critic,
but being a doer requires effort, risk and change.”
Dr. Wayne Dyer, Self-Help Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Doers get it done as the non-doer is watching

The doers in life . . . . get the job done when it has to be done. They won’t stand around making excuses or . . . . just keep talking about what has to be done. Doers find a way to just get the job done.

The doers get it done by getting started and . . . . follows through until the task is successfully done.

A doer will say to themselves . . . . why not, why not me and why not right now. The doer is a forward thinker that pushes forward . . . . with an air of self-confidence searching out the successful conclusions.

The critic can find a million reasons . . . . why something can’t be done.  They will try to convince everyone around them that will listen to them

. . . . that the task is impossible to do successfully. The critic motto is it can’t be done so why should I even try.

The critic just makes excuses and complains.

The doer just makes progress and moves forward.

The biggest difference between a doer and critic . . . . is the doer is getting it done successfully. While the critic a bystander and watching the doer successfully completing the task. The critic will still be saying it can’t be done or how they would have done it differently.

Doers get it done as the non-doer is watching . . . . When you need something done find a doer.

In The Moment

Motivational Power Quote

In The Moment
Life is made of millions of moments, but we live only
one of these moments at the time. As we begin to
change this moment, we begin to change our lives.”
D. Trinidad Hunt, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

In the moment

Your life is made up of millions of moments with each one having a varying degree on how. . . . it can impact your life. You can only live your life one moment at a time . . . . That moment has uniqueness in it and will never be repeated. If we fail to embrace your moments you’ll miss the opportunity . . . . to fully embrace your life.

In the moment you can make the decision that will influence you to change the course of your life and impact your future.

Grasp the moment in time . . . . and you will grasp your future.

You can attend an event and in that moment you can meet someone that can turn out to be the love of your life.

In the moment you can decide to go into a book store and find a book and that book will have a profound impact on your life and your success.

The moments will fly by you so fast that many times you fail to recognize the importance of that moment you where in and . . . . what that moment means to you.

There are times that you have to mentally slow down yourself drone to recognize the importance’s of the moment that we’re in. When you change the way you see the moment. You will change the way you response to your moments and in that change you have the capacity to change your life and create new results.

In the moment you hold the key to change . . . . your life to a bigger and brighter future.

What Did You Accomplish?

Motivational Power Quote

What Did You Accomplish?
In the end, you’re measured not by how much
you undertake but by what you finally accomplish.”
Donald Trump, American Entrepreneur

As I see it. . . . . . . .

What did you accomplish?

It’s not the pace of the race that’s most important . . . . it’s who crosses the finish line first.

A person that starts out fast and can’t keep up the pace falls behind . . . . and finishes out of the money has little or no accomplishments.

In business a person that starts many projects . . . . and finishes very little or none loses the race.

The measure of success is what you accomplish and what was the quality of that work?

Success is not always a fast pace . . . . success is accomplished by the person that has a consistent focused effort and stays in the race.

Your success will not be measured by what we start . . . . it will be measured by what we successfully complete.

Create your game plan for your success and determine what the most important elements . . . . are that have to be done to achieve your goals.

Pursue the most important things in the order of their priorities . . . . and bring them to success conclusion.

People will ask you, what did you accomplish . . . . and will judge you by the results.

Motivational Power Quote

Plan to Stretch Your Limits
“If you have accomplished all that you have for yourself, you
have not planned enough.”
Edward Everett, Clergyman

As I see it . . . . . . .

Plan to stretch your limits

Your goals are your vision of your future accomplishments . . . .

Goals can be created in the form short term . . . . for days, weeks or months. Your short term goals will get you started and in moving in the right direction. They become the stepping stones into your future by successful achieving your short term goals . . . .

Successfully achieving your short term goals . . . . creates positive forward momentum and sets the stage for your long term success.

Middle range goals are meant to stretch your thinking and planning out from about 6 months to a year. Your short term goals are the building blocks to successfully achieving your middle range goals.

Your short term and middle range goals are the stepping stones to keep you moving in the right direction to accomplish your long term goals.

Your goals are the objectives . . . . your plan to reach your objectives becomes critical in successfully reaching your long terms.

Here’s the key . . . . goals are not static.

Goals are meant to be reviewed, expanded, and adjusted to reach your objectives.

As you grow as a person your goals and objectives and planning is meant to grow with you.

Plan to stretch your limits . . . . by stretching your goals and planning.

Behave . . . . Like a Duck

Motivational Power Quote

Behave . . . . Like a Duck
Always behave like a duck – keep calm an unruffled
on the surface but paddle like the devil underneath.”
Jacob Braude, Circuit Court Judge

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Behave . . . . like a duck

When you see a duck on the rainy days you’ll see that the rain . . . . is beading and running off the ducks back. You need to behave like that duck. When you encounter those rainy days in your life . . . . you need to allow the rain to bead and roll off your back . . . . and not become unraveled.

You will also notice that the duck seems to be gliding smoothly through the water . . . . with a sense of ease. What we don’t see is . . . . how hard the duck is paddling under the water surface to go forward.

Some days you are going to have paddle as hard as you can . . . . to make progress and to go forward.

You have to remain calm when you are navigating the turbulence that
. . . . you have encountered. When you lose your composure and become disheveled . . . . you lose focus on the issues. Instead making progress you paddle around in circles without . . . . any real purpose or progress.

Behave . . . . like a duck . . . . and once you set your course paddle as hard as you can to get there.

Happiness is Found In Your Relationships

Motivational Power Quote

Happiness is Found In Your Relationships
The foolish person seeks happiness in the distance;
the wise person grows it under his feet.”
James Oppenheim 1882 - 1931, American Poet, Novelist, Editor

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Happiness is found in Your Relationships

Being thankful for the people who you have in your life . . . . As they become the real source of our happiness and bring joy and meaning into our life. They will impact and make a difference . . . . in your everyday life.

They become our pillars of strength . . . . and they will be there to support us when we need them the most.

Focus on what you have in life that brings your happiness and what you enjoy in your life . . . . and you will create an attitude of gratitude.   If you focus what you don’t have in your life . . . . you will find yourself focusing on the negative and you will create . . . . an attitude of being unhappy.

There will be things that you find important to you . . . . and that you want to obtain or accomplish in your life. Create the goals and plans to achieve them . . . .

You will find happiness in the pursuit and achievement of our goals and dreams.

Find happiness in your days . . . . and you will find happiness in your life.

Show gratitude for the things that you have in your life . . . . and you will find that your gratitude opens the doors to happiness.

Happiness is not something in the distance and it’s not a destination, happiness is found in your mindset . . . . and in your attitude and how you approach your days and life.

Happiness is found in enjoying your life . . . . and bring with the people that your care for and in make those people happy.

When we bring happiness into other peoples lives . . . . they return the favor and they bring happiness into our lives.

Happiness is found in your relationships . . . . not in things.

Your Decisions Form Your Life

Motivational Power Quote

Your Decisions Form Your Life
More than anything else, I believe it’s our decisions,
not the conditions of our lives, that determine our destiny”
Anthony Robbins, Peak Performance Expert

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your decisions form your life

The decisions that you make today will impact your lives . . . . and will define your tomorrows and who you become. Some of those decisions that you make will seem incidental at the time but have the ability . . . . to have a substantial impact on your life.

Your life becomes a series of decisions and as a result of your decisions you create the direction for your life . . . . and what path you will travel.

Every decision that you make creates a cause and reaction effect on our life and those decisions have a way of compounding . . . . and over time to form our life.

The Art of Gentle Persuasion

Motivational Power Quote

The Art of Gentle Persuasion
One of the best ways to persuade others
is with your ears - - - by listening to them.”
Dean Rusk 1909 - 1994, Secretary of State 1961 - 1969

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The art of gentle persuasion

You use some form of the art of gentle persuasion in every aspect of your life. You use it in your personal relationships, with your children and in every facet of your business and career.

You go about your daily routines giving very little thought about how the art of persuasion impacts your life and success.

A myth about persuasion is what creates powerful persuasion skills.

Many people feel it’s having a powerful personally, others feel that it’s talking to people until we can “convince them.” While other person feel that’s persuasion is it’s not accepting a no for an answer and pushing the other person hard for a yes.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

The art of persuasion not about having a powerful personally, it’s not about intimidation and has nothing to do with not accepting a no as an answer.

The art of persuasion is about listening skills.

The person who’s gathers the information to know the other person as a person is a professional listener. They will the information and understand the persons needs, motivations, the persons fears and what they are trying to accomplish.

As a professional listener you know the other better then they know themselves. You have the informational resource to help the person in many any areas of their life.

In business the information that the professional listener obtains is an enormous help to the professional in helping a person to make a sound business decision and successfully conclude a sale.

A professional listener gathers the information that when it’s correctly applied creates a strategic business advantage and that advantage is the art of gentle persuasion.

The art of gentle persuasion is listening to obtain information and helping that person to get what they want and at the same time you will get more of what you want.

The Journey of Discovery

Motivational Power Quote

The Journey of Discovery
Education is not the filling of the pail,
but, the lighting of the fire.”
William Butler Yeats 1865 – 1939, Irish Poet

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The journey of discovery

There is a vast new world just over the horizon . . . . and it’s waiting there for us to discover it.

It won’t be handed to you. If you want it you have to open your eyes to see it. You will have to open your minds to find it . . . . and you will have to take the journey to get there.

In that world there is unlimited potential . . . . and it’s fill of new and exciting possibilities.

To get to that new world you have to light the fire of discovery in your heart . . . . and welcome the opportunities that it offers for you.

Your journey may not be an expressway . . . . and you may have to persevere to have a successful journey to reach your destination. You will find that you will have to step outside of your comfort zone in order to start your journey of discovery. You will find that taking that first step . . . . may be the most challenging.

Once you start your journey you will find the journey to be exhilarating . . . . and an experience of a lifetime.

The journey of discovery in your heart . . . . and you will discover that the light from that fire . . . . will light the way for your success journey.
