persistence . . . All directed
at specific goals.”

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Motivation is the Fire Within

Motivation is the Fire Within
‘Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light
that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly.”
Stephen R. Covey 1932 - 2012, American Educator,
Author, Business, Keynote Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .
Motivation is the fire within

Motivation is the fire that burns from within you. . . . and you are the only person that can light the fire . . . . and keep it burning.

People will come into your lives and attempt to help you to light the fire of motivation within you. If they are able to create a spark in you, the only way that spark will turn into a flame is when you light the fire of motivation yourself.

If you rely on other person to light the fire of motivation within you  and to keep it burning . . . . You will find that the spark of motivation will flicker and burn out quickly.

You have the ability to light the spark of motivation within you . . . . and to turn that motivation into the flame of passion to reach your goals.

Your motivation will encourage you to confidently do a little more . . . . try a little harder . . . . and see your goals through until you have reached a successful outcome.

Light the fire of your motivation . . . . and keep your flame burning brightly in your heart and passion.

Motivation is the fire within . . . . and with passion you turn your motivation into a world of possibility.

Success and Inaction Both Come With a Price

Success and Inaction Both Come With a Price
“We must all suffer from one of two pains; the pain of
discipline or the pain of regret. The difference
is discipline weights ounces while
regret weights tons.”
Jim Rohn 1930 - 2009, American Entrepreneur,
Self-Author and Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Success and inaction both come with a price.

Inaction is making the decision to procrastinate . . . . the price of procrastination is paid over a life time.

Procrastination is making a choice . . . . the choice that is made is the choice of inaction which is to take the action is choosing not to act. The price of inaction is enormous and is carried forward in the form of pain in living a life of regret for the things that we did not do and in the lost opportunities.

Taking action to succeed . . . . takes self-confidence in your decision making and in your abilities. You also have to have the mental discipline to take calculated risks . . . . and to make choices.

In taking action some of your choice will create breakthrough opportunities in your life. While others may have very little impact on your success journey, and there will be those that you would like to forget.

Failing to take action subordinates the action to someone else to make the decision for you. You will lose the ability to make your own choices and to choose your actions.

When it’s time to take action . . . . you have to step up . . . . and take the best actions possible in the conditions that we find yourself in.

The pain of regret for your inaction is carried forward . . . . and can become emotionally draining.

The discipline of making choices and taking action has a price. But there is peace of mind that you’re in control of your choices . . . . your actions . . . . and your future.

Success and inaction both come with a price . . . . you pay for your success in advance. You paid for your inaction over a life time.

Do What You Love and It Become’s Fun

Do What You Love and It Become’s Fun
“There is nothing more marvelous than doing something you
love to do and getting paid for it. It creases to become
work, money, and effect;  and it becomes fun,
you expression of the joy of life.”
Stuart Wilde 1946 -2013, British Writer, Lecturer,
Humorist, Essayist, Scriptwriter, Lyricist,
                Music Producer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Do what you love and it become’s fun

When we discover what you love to do, it’s no longer feels like work it becomes fun to do. Once it become’s fun there’s passion for the things you’re doing it seems to become effortless.

Having fun with the things you’re doing makes your days fly by as a result loving what you’re doing . . . . and having fun in doing them.

The person that’s having fun will find themselves putting more effort in the things that they are doing. The end result is they will become more productive in the things that they do.

Money . . . . success . . . . happiness . . . . and having fun are the byproducts of loving what you do.

Do what you love and it become’s fun and you will enjoy your success journey.

An Acre of Diamonds

An Acre of Diamonds
“There are acres of diamonds in the problem
you have before you right now.”
Brian Tracy, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

An acre of diamonds

Within every problem exists . . . . the solutions and the opportunities.

Both the solution and the opportunity are in front of you, but not in clear view. It may require digging for the facts and investigating for the right answers.

You have to know where to look for the information . . . . and be willing to dig for the facts until you find them.

Digging for diamonds takes hard work . . . . finding the right answers to a problem takes effort. If you’re willing to remove the obstacles that are in front of you and willing to dig deep enough. You will find the diamonds of solutions . . . . and uncover the diamonds of opportunities.

The beauty of a diamond is produced as a result of pressure on a piece carbon until that pressure creates a diamond. You have to be willing to withstand the pressure to effectively find a solution to a problem and find opportunity.

The solution is in the problem. You will only find the solution when you look beyond the problem and focus your efforts looking for the solutions. Like the diamond miner looks for diamonds become . . . . a miner of solutions and opportunities.

The solution may be right in front of you, but to see them you have to have a mindset of a problem solver.

Leave no stone unturned in seeking the solution to a problem, be willing to work to find the answers and have the faith in your self to apply the strategies to successfully resolve the problem.

Unlike a diamond mine an acre of diamonds is in your thinking and as you mine your thought you will find solutions to problems and find unlimited opportunities.

Failure Is Not an Overnight Event

Motivational Power Quote

Failure Is Not an Overnight Event
Failure is not single, cataclysmic event.
You don’t fail overnight.
Instead, failure is a few errors in judgment,
repeated everyday.”
Jim Rohn 1930 - 2009, American Entrepreneur, Author,
Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Failure is not an overnight event

Failure is created when a person continuously repeats negative behavior until the behavior grows to a point to where it creates . . . . a total breakdown of the person’s forward momentum. That breakdown will bring the person’s success journey . . . . to the dead stop of failure.

On a daily basis you have to balance your decisions in favor of success. If you are thrown off the balance the scales can tilt in . . . . the wrong direction which will move you in the wrong direction.

Your days become a reflection of your decisions and when you balance those decisions in favor of success you will reach a positive tipping point in your life. Your life will become a mirror of your decisions and will have tipped the scale of your life in the direction of success.

Failure is not an overnight event . . . . and success is a process the path that you choose to follow is your choice.

The Difference Between Want To and Have To

Motivational Power Quote

The Difference Between Want To and Have To
“It’s so hard when you have to,
and so easy when I want to.”
Sondia Anice Barnes, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The difference between want to and have to

When you want to do something your efforts seem to become effortless. You become eager to get your day started and you’re excited about your possibilities.

The time seems to fly by and you’re enjoying what you’re doing.

When you have to do something it can look like a mountain that you don’t want to climb. You can find more reasons on why procrastination is the best choice for you.

If and when you start to climb the mountain every minute seems like a life time.

The difference between wanting to do something and having to do it; becomes the difference between success and failure. When you want to do something you have a purpose and enjoy what you’re doing.

When you want to do something you will take a giant step towards your future success.

Turn your have to into a want to.

The difference between have to and want to is in your attitude and when the attitude is right you will enjoy what you want to do.

Turn your Success Into Happiness

Motivational Power Quote

Turn your Success Into Happiness
“Success is getting what you want.
happiness is wanting
what you get.”
Dale Carnegie, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Turn your success into happiness.

People define success as getting what you want.

Getting what you want takes a commitment, determination and remaining focused on your objectives.

Getting what you want creates achievement in a person’s life.

Success along doesn’t make a person happy.

Happiness is wanting, what you have achieved.

Achievement without happiness becomes a hollow success and doesn’t bring personal fulfillment.

Wanting what you achieve brings a sense of personal fulfillment.

Turn your success into happiness by understanding what will create happiness in your life at the start of your success journey. Peruse the objectives that will create both success and happiness in your life and continually move that direction.

Choose the Direction for Your Life

Motivational Power Quote

Choose the Direction for Your Life
“All men should try to learn
before they die,
what they are running from and to,
and why.”
James “Thunder” Jones

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Choose the direction for your life.

Learn what you want from your life and go after it with massive action and passion.
You’re either move towards what you want from your life or you’re moving away from it.

Both directions affect your success and your life, moving towards what you want brings you success, achievement and fulfillment. Moving you away from what you want clauses us stress and dissatisfaction with ourselves and those who are around us.
It’s important to know what we are running from, put it in perspective, face it and reframe it. Determine why you have been running from it and how to change it. When you do you may realize that what you been running from can removed from your life or theirs a way to overcome it.
Understand what you been running to, if it’s what you want continue to go after it with a purpose or adjust it to fit your vision.

Go in the direction of the things you want and will find that they become within your reach.

Do People Like Themselves When They’re With Us?

 Motivational Power Quote

Do People Like Themselves When They’re With Us?

“To a large degree,
our success and happiness in life
depends on how much people like
themselves when they’re with us.”
Joe Caruso, transformation thinker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Do people like themselves when they’re with us?

The level that a person likes themselves when they’re with us has an effect our success and happiness.

Success and happiness is attracted to us through other people.

We attract success and happiness by our services we render to others. Our rapport with people and the quality of our relationships is the foundation, the building block are building and maintaining the relationship.

One of the most overlooked factors is how comfortable and how much to people like themselves when they are with us.

When we nourish our relationship with others people feel good about themselves.

The following is food to feed your relationship with others.

Address them by name.

Make it easy for them to feel comfortable around you.

Show people respect for them and build rapport.

Speak in terms of their interests.

Find out what they want and show them a way to get it.

See things through the eyes of the other person and their point of view.

Focus your attention on them.

Say what you’re going to do, and then do it.

The more people that are comfortable and like themselves when they are with you; the more success and happiness you’ll attract.

nothing else matters.
If you don’t have integrity,
nothing else matters.”
Alan Simpson

As I see it. . . . . . .
Integrity is the secret of doing what’s right, because it’s the right thing to do.

Doing the right thing is not always the easiest path to take. In some cases, integrity can have a short term cost, but it will pay dividends in the long run.

Your reputation will follow you. Doing what’s right creates a solid foundation for your life, your business and will plant the seeds for your future success based on your reputation.

Your integrity is that inter voice that guides your thoughts and actions.

Integrity is your moral compass that will maintain your values and keep you focused on doing the right thing during challenging and stressful times.

Effectively Problem Solving

Motivational Power Quote

Effectively Problem Solving

“Before it can be solved a problem
must be clearly stated and defined.”
William Feather

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Effective problem solving

There are four steps that need to be taken in order to effectively solve a problem.

Let’s look at the steps doctors have been successfully doing for centuries with their patients. They examine, diagnose, prescribe and treat.

The first two steps are to examine and diagnose the problem. As a result of the examination, we are able to clearly state and define the problem.

Once we have clearly stated and defined the problem the next step is to determine what will be prescribed in order to treat and solve the problem.

We develop a plan of action, to treat the problem, based on a clearly defined solution.

As we are working through the problem we are able to measure the results of the treatment and can adjust our strategy based on these results.

Examine your progress until your problem has successfully been treated and resolved.

We are Personally Responsible for What We Do

Motivational Power Quote

We are Personally Responsible for What We Do

“Personal responsibility begins with ME.
That’s why it’s personal.”
Jim Miller

As I see it. . . . . . . .
We are personally responsible for what we do.

Our actions are under our control and our choice.

Each of our decisions and actions are building blocks for our future and to a successful outcome when we take personal responsibility for what we do.

Once we take personal responsibility for our decisions, our actions and the outcomes, we take complete control of our lives.

Our success begins with taking personal responsibility for what we do.

We Achieve in Life What We Believe

Motivational Power Quote

We Achieve in Life What We Believe

“We cannot achieve more in life
than what we believe
in our hearts we deserve to have.”
James R. Ball

As I see it. . . . . . . .
We achieve in life what we believe.

Believing in ourselves is a choice. To achieve success we have to believe in ourselves, our dreams, and our abilities.

Our personal belief system begins with our attitude. A positive attitude creates a positive self image and beliefs, while a negative attitude creates a negative self image and negative beliefs. Our outcome will mirror our attitude.

Believe in what you can do. Setbacks and obstacles will occur on our success journey, they are only temporary, unless we decide to quit.

Believe in what you can do, take advantage and build your future from your strengths.

The choice of what we believe we can accomplish and what we believe is our choice.

We will achieve in life what we believe we can do. Become a possibility thinker, believe you deserve success, set your goals and then go out and achieve them.

Try, Try and Try Again

Motivational Power Quote

Try, Try and Try Again

“You may be disappointed
if you fail,
but you are doomed
if you don’t try.”
Beverly Sills, American Opera Soprano

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Try, try and try again.

Many of the most successful people have experienced failure on their success journey which leads them to disappointment. But they did not quit they regrouped, adjusted, and moved forward with passion.

When we experience failure we are confronted with a choice. Do we stop trying or do we continue our success journey and overcome the failure?

The successful people throughout history have elected to continue and move on passed their failures.

The reason that we read about the successful people is because they made the extra effort to try again and succeeded in the face of adversity, while the others passed into history unnoticed because they stopped trying and were doomed to live in their failures.

When faced with failure pick yourself up and bush yourself off and continue to try.

Things Will Not Always Be Perfect

Motivational Power Quote

Things Will Not Always Be Perfect

“Life is 10% what you make it,
and 90% how you take it.”
Irving Berlin, American composer and lyricist

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Things will not always be perfect or as we would like them to be in our lives.

We can be presented with obstacles.

We can be presented with opportunities.

Our lives will be formed by the way we take the things that life presents us.

90% of our success will be based on our ability to effectively work through each situation that is presented to us, finding solutions and corrective measures.

Our thoughts and our attitude will determine the direction we choose in selecting the solutions.

Look at every obstacle as an opportunity and every opportunity as opening the door to a successful future.

There is No Success Without Learning

Motivational Power Quote

There is No Success Without Learning

“Learning is not compulsory. . .
neither is survival.”
Dr. W. Edwards Deming, consultant, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
The future belongs to those who are continuously learning. They accumulate the knowledge to successfully compete in the new business environment.

Relevant knowledge properly applied becomes a powerful tool. Lack of knowledge becomes fatal.

The key to the future is learning the skills and accumulating the knowledge that gives you the ability to master your field of endeavor and then apply the skills and knowledge in an effective manor.

The price of being a non-learner is astronomical and paid over a lifetime.

The price for our future success is paid today in our commitment to learning in the present.
