A Sixth Sense

Motivational Power Quote

A Sixth Sense
Intuition will tell the thinking mind where to look next.”
Jonas Salk 1914 - 1995, Medical Researcher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your sixth sense

Did you ever get a burning feeling in the pit of your stomach . . . . when you were about to do something? It can tell you to go ahead . . . . and do it. Or it can be telling you that you shouldn’t do whatever you’re thinking about doing.

Where is that voice coming from . . . . why is it there?

The voice is the voice of your intuition speaking to you . . . . and it’s a sixth sense.

Your intuition is an inherent internal mechanism that’s tells you the deference between right and wrong. Your intuition is a flash of insight that tells you of potential danger . . . . and cautions you not to act. Or it can tell you that the time is right . . . . and to strike while the iron is hot.

You were born with intuition . . . . and it’s one of your natural senses.

You will find that successful people speak about having a hunch or a feeling . . . . They will act on it . . . . and potentially have a major breakthrough. That hunch or feeling is there intuition and is speaking to them.

Joseph Kennedy the father of John, Robert and Ted Kennedy related a story from the late 1920’s. Has the story goes he was having his shoes shined. The person who was shining his shoes was telling the Senior Mr. Kennedy about his investments in the stock market.

As a result of the conversation Mr. Kennedy concluded that there was an issue with how people where investing in the stock market with very little cash . . . . and were leveraging there stock purchases.

He felt that if the person who was shining his shoes were investing in the stock market and leveraging their purchases of stock that there was a fundamental issue with the stock market . . . . and how people where investing without money.

After his shoe shine was finished he contacted his stock broker and sold this entire stock portfolio, short thereafter the 1929 stock market crash occurred and fortunes were lost.

Mr. Kennedy intuition preserved his wealth. . . . . Was he smarter than other people? Did he have a crystal ball? No the conversation with the person that was shining his shoes was a spark that ignited Mr. Kennedy. . . . sixth sense of intuition and be acted on it.

How many other people did the person shining person talk to about the stock market . . . . that only heard the conversation?

Our intuition is a sixth sense . . . . and the people that listen to their intuition and proactively act on it. Will crate a much smoother path for their success journey . . . .  saving themselves a lot of grief.
