Your Toughest Competition

Motivational Power Quote

Your Toughest Competition
Our business in life is not to get ahead of others, but to get
ahead of ourselves – to break our records,
to outstrip our yesterdays by our today.”
Steward B. Johnson, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your toughest competition

You come face to face with the competition everyday of your life. You face the competition every time that you look into the mirror . . . . the competition is the competition of your mind.

To achieve greatness in your life you have to become better at the things you do. To achieve success you have to be better today then you were yesterday.

The foundation of long term success is found in . . . . constant incremental improvement. That is where you compete with yourself on a daily basis and . . . . continue to get better.

The standards of improvement are how much do you improve by measuring your progress against yourself. In the long run you have to face yourself everyday and you are the only one that can make an honest assessment of yourself . . . . and your progress and improvement.

Your toughest competition is yourself; and to get better then your competition you need to have . . . . personal and constant incremental improvement that takes place on a daily basis.
