Russian Investors are Alive and Well

Russian Investors are Alive and Well

Russian nationals are increasing their level of investments in the United States.

Looking at Recent Sales

Recently Donald Trump sold his estate in Palm Beach Florida for $100 million dollars. The buyer was a Russian fertilizer billionaire.

A New York condominium was also recently sold for $13.5 million to the president of a construction management and consulting firm from Moscow.

In addition, three furnished South Beach condominiums were sold for $5 million each to Russian nationals.

The examples above represent only three sales of many that involve Russian investors.

United States Seen as a Safe Harbor

Russian investors see the United States as a safe harbor for their money and their real estate investments.

As a result, we are seeing the willingness of Russian investors buying ultra luxury homes in the United States, but sales to Russian buyers and investors extend passed ultra luxury homes. They are also purchasing homes and condominiums in all price ranges through-out the United States.

When Russian buyers look for properties they look for enhanced security features including gated communities or gated entrances, video cameras, and underground parking.

Russian investors are also purchasing commercial properties.

International Customers

Selling to the international market is a niche market with unlimited business opportunities.
