A Burning Desire to Succeed

Motivational Power Quote

A Burning Desire to Succeed
“Burning desire to be or do something gives us staying
power - - a reason to get up every morning or to pick
ourselves up and start in again after a disappointment.”
Marsha Sinetar, American Writer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A burning desire to succeed

A burning desire to succeed is your inner voice that’s picks you up after you fall. It gets you started and keeps you moving in the right direction.

Your desire gives you a sense of purpose for your life . . . . and is a guiding principle for your success.

A burning desire to succeed in your thinking . . . . and creates an attitude of I can and I will. Your desire for success will become a passion to succeed. You can focus that passion . . . . and turn it into the activities that will create a successful outcome.

Three Constants in Life That Makes a Big Difference

Motivational Power Quote

Three Constants in Life That Makes a Big Difference
There are three constants in life . . .
change, choice and principles.”
Stephen R. Covey 1932 - 2012, American Author,
Businessman, Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Three constants in life that makes a big difference

In a fast pace world of endless change . . . . you have to continually adjust and adapt to change to stay on the leading edge of innovation to remain competitive.

Change is a constant in life . . . . and you have a choice to adapt and to get out in front of the change . . . . and become an innovator or you can resist change and allow change to control us.

Choose to adapt to change and become an innovator.

Your choices become connected . . . .and will either fuel your success journey to achieve your goals or create roadblocks stopping your forward progress.

Your choices are a critical component of your success. The choices you make today . . . . will multiply and impact your future. The choices that you make today . . . . are the seeds for your future success. What you harvest in the future will be in proportion and an accumulation of those choices.

Focus on making the choices that will drive the engine of your success journey to the desire outcome and put you over the top.

Your choices will determine . . . . your actions and the path that you will follow on your success journey.

Throughout your success journey never lose sight that . . . . your principles are your moral compass. Your principles will give you direction and keep you on the right path. Follow your principles and be seen as a person of principles and values.

Your principles make . . . . you who are and you will judged by your principles.

The three constants in life that makes a big difference . . . .are change, choice and your principles.  When you master the constants in you life, they will make a substantial difference in your success journey and what you achieve.

Be Firm in Your Resolve, But Flexible in Your Thinking

Motivational Power Quote

Be Firm in Your Resolve, But Flexible in Your Thinking
“I am a man of fixed and unbending principles,
the first of which is to flexible at all times.”
Everett Dirksen 1896 - 1969, American Politician

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Be firm in your resolve, but flexible in your thinking

When a person is firm in their resolve they know what they want to achieve, they know how they will achieve it and they’re steadfast in their resolve to achieve a successful outcome.

But the person is also flexible.

They may get taken off my course at times in their life. But they will adjust their sails in the winds of life to get them back on the course that keeps them moving in the direction of their goals.

When they encounter a challenging situation they will look at their long term objectives and for the best possible solutions. They find their solutions and to implement a plan of action, by remaining flexible in their thinking and action.

Being flexible does not compromise a person’s principles or their goals.

Flexibility allows a person to look at their circumstances and adjust to withstand the storms in their life. A person that remains rigid in their thinking and actions will not adjust to the circumstances and like the limb of a tree will break under pressure.

Be firm in your resolve, but flexible in your thinking.

Your Values Matter

Motivational Power Quote

Your Values Matter
“The more choices you have
the more your values matters.”
Michael Schrage, research Follow MIT

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your values matter

Everyday you are faced with a multitude of choices. The quality of those choices becomes the foundation for the quality of the life that you lead.

Some choices will have to be made very quickly in the heat of moment were others will not afford you the opportunity to clearly think the choices out before they’re make.

No matter what the circumstances are you have to make good choices for the right reasons. At this very moment your values play a major role in the choices you make.

Your values are the principles that we live our life by.

Your values matter and your values will be reflected in your actions and in the quality of your relationships.

Put Principles Above Privileges

Motivational Power Quote

Put Principles Above Privileges

“A people that value
it’s privileges
above it’s principles
soon loses both.”
Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the US

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Put principles above privileges.

The foundation of our principles is in our personal beliefs and our moral code of ethics.

Our principles are what will guide us in our actions, based on our philosophy, thoughts and values.

A privilege is the ability to do or to have, it’s an opportunity that may or may not be permanent.

A person that places their principles above their privileges becomes a person of substance.

The person that places their privileges above their principles will find that their privileges will soon disappear and they will be seen as a person of no principles.

When you let your principles guide you; you will be seen as a person with integrity.

Stand Like a Rock

Motivational Power Quote

Stand Like a Rock

“In matters of style,
swim with the current;
in matters of principle,
stand like a rock.”
Thomas Jefferson, 3rd US President

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Be a person of principle and stand like a rock.

Our principles become our guiding light. Principles are internal and expressed externally through our actions.

One’s principles are a matter of choice.

A person who has a foundation of strong moral principles will be seen as a person with character. Unsound principles is like standing on quicksand, we will not have solid footing and will eventually sink.

Our principles are the way we see our world and will be reflected in the type of decisions we make.

Principles are personal and business codes of conduct; it’s our moral compass and can be measured.

Stand like a rock through the storms of life, and when the storm passes you will be standing as a person of principle.
