Master communicators create a strategic advantage

Getting the right answers . . . . and gathering the right information puts a master communicator in control of the conversations.

Master communicators understand the foundation of getting the right answers is asking the right questions and in proactive listening.

Effective communications is in the ability to ask the right questions to accumulate information. The information that you accumulate will   give you the ability to evaluate the situation . . . . and better understand the person that your communication with.

The person with the most information has strategic advantage . . . . and controls the communications.

Asking the right questions becomes a process of proactive communications. When you consistently apply the 80 – 20 rule of proactive listening you become a master communicator.

The 80 – 20 rule of proactive listening, is to listen 80% of the time.  To listen with a purpose . . . . listen with interest . . . . listen to understand . . . . and listen to gather information.

The master communicator remains in control of the conversation through their listening skills. They keep accumulating information that keeps them in control of the communications and the information the information flow.

The information they are receiving becomes a strategic resource in creating a strategic advantage.    

By effectively using the 20% rule of speaking and asking the right questions you gather the right information by asking the right questions . . . . and listening.

By listening 80% of the time you show interest in the person we’re communicating with. Being a proactive listener puts you in the position of having the understanding and the knowledge of the person or situation.  That information will enable you to help the other person reach their objective.

Getting the right answers is the key to effective communications . . . .  successful business practices . . . . and is imperative to successful negotiations.
