A diamond in the rough
A diamond is a beautiful gem that’s
starts out as a chunk of carbon and in that form has very little value compared
to a finish gem.
Under pressure and time the carbon is
transformed into a rough diamond. We are a lot like that piece of carbon our
character is formed under the pressures of life.
The person that we become is formed from
how we respond to the pressures that we encounter on our success journey. We
will become a diamond in the rough or remain a chunk of carbon.
To create the unique value of a rough
diamond it has to be cut and polished.
To create our unique value we have
continually polished our skills and remind focused under pressure.
Much like a diamond our value increases
as we withstand the pressures of life and polish our success skills.
With time and effort we can move from
being a diamond in the rough and we can become a polished gem in our career.
