The Difference Between a Mistake and Failure

Motivational Power Quote

The Difference Between a Mistake and Failure
“If you have made mistakes,
even serious ones,
there is always another chance for you.
What we call failure is not the falling down,
but the staying down.”
Mary Pickford, American actress

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The difference between a mistake and failure . . . .

It’s not a question if were going to make a mistake, the question is how soon and how many.

The only person that doesn’t make mistakes is the person that not trying.

Mistakes are stepping stones to trying again with the benefits of our experience to do things better.

Don’t except a mistake as failure see a mistake as an opportunity to become better as a result of the experience.

In reality mistakes are part of the normal life cycle and we have the opportunity of moving forward after a mistake with renewed commitment.

Failure is falling down after a mistake and deciding not to get up.

A mistake is a temporary condition if after a mistake you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on.
