What is Your Favorite Memory of Yankee Stadium?

Since opening on April 18, 1923, Yankee Stadium has become a baseball icon with a storied history.

Yankee Stadium also known as "The House that Ruth Built" will have the last baseball game played at the stadium tonight after 85 years of being a baseball and city landmark.
Over the years the history of Yankee Stadium has been relived throughout the generations by storytelling from baseball enthusiasts.

I have spoken to a number of people that grew up in the New York area that have made a special trip back to New York to attend one last game at the stadium this season.

The memories are long and storied and the players read like a who’s who in baseball including, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and Reggie Jackson just to mention a few.
