Speaking With a Purpose

Motivational Power Quote

Speaking With a Purpose
“The wise speak only
of what the know.”
Gandalf, Lord of the Rings

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Speaking with a purpose

Speak when there is something constructive to say, if it’s not constructive remain silent, listen and.

Practice active listening to better understand the person that you’re speaking with to become more effective communicator.

In effective communications we should know the subject that we are speaking about and speak with a purpose. Speaking without knowledge of the subject is a pathway to a disaster and will make the person look unprofessional.

A wise person will not speak about a subject without the knowledge of the topic. Where they lack information on the topic they will do the research of the subject to gain the knowledge before they speak.

A wise person will speak with purpose on what they know, and to be seen as an expert on the topic.

Speaking with a purpose is speaking from your strengths.
