Leaders Are Those Who Empower Others

Leaders Are Those Who Empower Others
“Leaders will be those who empower others. Empowering
leadership means bringing  out the energy and
capabilities people have and getting them
to work together in a way they
wouldn’t do otherwise.”
Bill Gates, Co-Founder of Microsoft

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Leaders are those who empower others

Empowerment of others creates a sense of ownership in what the person is doing. It will ignite their personal energy . . . . and pride to excel. Empowerment will elevate the level of a person, in their thinking, stretch their capabilities . . . . and will bring out the best in the person.

When you empower another person your showing that we have confidence in them . . . . and in their ability to successfully get the job done. Empowerment is also showing that you trust the person . . . . and their judgment to make the right choices.

People who are empowered will find a way to get the job done . . . . and will work together to accomplish their objectives. They also will experience personal growth . . . . and you will be rewarded with a dedicated and productive person working with you.

An empowered person will work longer . . . . and harder to achieve success through a sense a personal responsibility.

Leaders are those who empower others . . . . You’ll find that the empowered person become more productive . . . . and will accomplish far more as a results of being trusted and empowered.

Opportunities Multiply When They’re Seized

Opportunities Multiply When They’re Seized
“Opportunity multiply as they are seized: they die
when neglected. Life is long line of opportunity.”
John Wicker, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Opportunities multiply when they’re seized

Each opportunity that you seize has the potential to multiply . . . . and lead to even greater opportunities . . . . and has the potential to change the direction of your life.

Opportunity doesn't come to you gift wrapped with a sign on them that reads “opportunity.” Most opportunities look far more like hard work. Or they will come to you out of the challenging conditions that you encounter. Opportunities are found by those who look past the hard work . . . . and the challenges of the moment a see a bigger picture.

An opportunity is a chance for personal growth . . . . and to move forward to achieve greater success.

Opportunities multiply when they’re seized. They will die on like fruit on the tree when they are not harvested. What happens with an opportunity will depend on how you see it . . . . and your willingness to seize the moment . . . . and the opportunity when they come into your life.

Opportunities multiply when they’re seized . . . . and wither away when they are not harvested.

No Gain Comes Without Risk

No Gain Comes Without Risk
“To try is to risk failure. But risk must be taken because the
greatest hazard of life is risk nothing. The person who risks
nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing. He may
avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot
learn, feel, change, grow, live and love.”
Leo Bucaglia 1924 - 1998, Self-Help Author, Motivational
Speaker, Forward Thinker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

No gain comes without risk

Every opportunity has an element of risk attached to it, and element for gain.

Risk has to be evaluated not by the element of fear . . . . but in the possibility of success.

Be willing to take a calculated risk . . . . to open the doors of opportunity that will move you in the direction of your goals.

Your biggest risk in life comes in not in trying . . . . but in procrastination and in taking no action.

Avoiding risks may keep you in your comfort zone . . . . but that comfort zone will continue to shrink and opportunities will be missed.

Everything in life has elements of risk; unless you venture out of your comfort zone and risk failure no progress will be made.

Moving out of our comfort zone and taking calculated risks opens the doors to personal growth . . . .  learning . . . .  becoming a stronger person . . . .  unlimited opportunity . . . . and success.

There is no gain without risk . . . . and you will continue to walk the same path that you have been on, experiencing the same results that you have been getting. Broaden your view and expand your horizon for greater success and achievement.

The Mindset to Expand Your Abilities

The Mindset to Expand Your Abilities
“If you believe you are born with all the smarts and gifts you’ll
ever have, you tend to approach life with a fixed mind-set.
However, those who believe that their abilities can be
expand over time live with a growth mind-set
and they’re much more innovative.”
Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, Authority on Management
As I see it. . . . . . . .
The mindset to expand your abilities
What you do during your lifetime is a matter of choice . . . . and conditioned by your mindset to create personal growth.
You can believe that you were born with all the talent . . . . and abilities that you will ever need. Or you can believe that you can accumulate new knowledge . . . . and develop new skills that will propel us to greater opportunities and success.
What you believe is your choice.
What you do is your choice.
Who you become is your choice.
You will achieve what you believe you will achieve. When you believe in yourself and in your ability everything becomes possible.
Your life is a series of choices and who you become is the result of your mindset and your choices.
Today is a new day and you can make today the stepping stone to a more productive life. With the mindset to expand your abilities . . . . you create a mindset of personal growth that will lead to new possibilities, opportunities and greater success.

Teach a Person HOW to Think
“Teach the young people how to think,
not what to think.”
             Sidney Sugarman, Federal Judge

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Teach a person HOW to think

There power is in teaching the person how to think . . . . not what to think.

Telling the person what to think prevents the persons mind from expanding . . . . and becoming creative. It will hinder their self-confidence and personal growth. More importantly it prevents the person from fully developing their thinking . . . . and decision making capacity.

Teaching a person how to think helps them to create personal power and self-confidence. They believe in themselves and that they can think their way through any situation . . . . and make good decisions. They will challenge themselves to think out of the box . . . . and to make the tough decisions.

The person, who believes in their thinking . . . . believes in themselves and that confidence shows.

Teach a person How to think creates an awaking in the person . . . . and opens their life to a new world of opportunities.

A Full Life Comes in Growing
“Life is growth. If we stop growing, technically
and spiritually we are as good as dead.”
 Monihei Ueshiba, martial artist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A full life comes in growing

When you’re green . . . . you are growing.

Like the mighty oak tree that starts’s its life cycle as a small acorn. The tree takes root . . . . and throughout its life continues grows.

A mature oak tree can grow to reach 100 feet or more in height. . . .  and it all started with acorn.

Your live in many respects is like an oak tree . . . .

Once you take root there is a need to continue to grow and mature throughout your life to reach your full potential. Your growth involves personal growth . . . . your profession growth  . . . . and your spiritual growth.

As you grow you become a stronger person . . . . You put down deep roots to withstand the storms in your life. The strength of your roots supports your growth . . . . and provides the fuel to move your success journey forward.

The person that elects not to grow has made a choice. Much like an oak tree without a strong root system . . . . they won’t be able to withstand the storms in their lives.  In time they will wittier and die without ever reaching their full potential or maturity.

A full life comes in growing . . . . Make the choice to be a oak tree and when you’re green you will continue to grow.

A Life Lived With Integrity

A Life Lived With Integrity
“A life lived with integrity-even if it lacks the trappings of
fame and fortune is a shining star in whose light
others may follow in the years to come.”
Denis Waitley, Self-Help Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A life lived with integrity

Integrity is the foundation for who a person becomes.

You can’t buy integrity it’s earned as a result of the way you carry yourself throughout your life and in your actions.

Having integrity won’t guarantee your success . . . . But without integrity there will be no lasting success.

Ones integrity will set the person apart from the crowd.  A person with integrity will stand above the crowed masses and standout. They will be seen as a person that can be counted on . . . . and someone that will deliver on their promises.

A life lived with integrity and you’ll live a life of honor and one that you can look back on with pride. Integrity is not a shortcut to success . . . . but one of continued growth and achievement.

A life lived with integrity . . . . is to live a life of the best is yet to come.

Choose the Right Path

Motivational Power Quote

Choose the Right Path
It is easy to choose a path in life that has been well traveled by
many before you and crowed  by many walking beside you.
There is safety in knowing the obstacles ahead, comfort and
warmth from the companionship of others and certainty in the
destination. Embarking on a journey into unknown territory
steely courage, an adventurous spirit, a deep belief in oneself
and simple hope for a better tomorrow.”
Marcy Blochowiak, CEO World Financial World

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Choose the right path

There will choices on what path to travel in your life time.

There is the path that so many have taken before you . . . . that path is easy to identify become you can see the ruts that have been worn into that path. The more the path is used the deeper the ruts become.

For those who on that path there seems to be a sense of safety in repetition. We will see the same people on that path everyday they become familiar and comfortable with that path . . . . and the path has become a habit.

The same people get on the path everyday and get off it at night only to repeat . . . . the same journey day after day. The journey starts at the same place everyday . . . . and seems to end at the same place every night. If the person were to look back on their journey they would see that they are where they started . . . . and they have not made any meaningful progress.

There is also another path which is much harder to find, there’s no signs that reads the road to success. The path is there but is used by very few people . . . . so it not so easy to indentify. If we’re looking for footprints to follow they may be hard to find so we have to decide to leave our own footprints for others to follow.

If we choose the take this path you will become a trail blazer.

As a trail blazer you will have step out of the rut of your current path . . . . and choose to create your own path to explore new territory and new opportunity.

You have to have the courage to step out of the safety of your rut . . . . And have the confidences in yourself to step into the unknown and onto the path of personal growth and greater success.

Staying on your current path you see the same view everyday . . . .  and your results will remain the same and not improve.

Choose the right path for you . . . . The one that will let you grow into the person that you want to be . . . . and to achieve the results that you want to achieve. The path is there for you but you will have to create it

. . . . and make the choice to step onto the path. Choose the step out of the rut and onto the path that will continue move in the directions of your goals.

Turning Your Life Around Starts Right Now

Motivational Power Quote

Turning Your Life Around Starts Right Now
What can you do right now to begin to turn your
life around? The very first thing is to be start making a list
of things to be grateful for.”
Dr. Joe Vitale, Motivational Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Turning your life around starts right now

The best time to start to turn your life around is right now. There is no reason to wait . . . . procrastinate . . . . or make excuses. Take the bull by the horns . . . . and just do it . . . . and do it right now.

Start by making a list of all the things that . . . . you are grateful for in your life.

Your list focuses you on the positive things in your life . . . . and becomes the building blocks for positive change and personal growth.

Turning your life around is adjusting your course to put you on the course to achieve your goals. Being grateful focuses your energy on the positive aspects on your life . . . . and on your accomplishments and your previous successes.

Pull Other People Up

Motivational Power Quote

Pull Other People Up
There are two ways of exerting one’s strength:
one is pushing down, the other is pulling up.”
Booker T. Washington 1856 - 1915, African American
Educator, Author, Orator

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Pull other people up

There are two ways that a person can lead their lives . . . . and find their real strength and purpose.

One can lead a life of pushing the people around down. They will also try to suppress the person’s personal growth . . . . and ambitions while restraining the person’s progress and success.

This type of person has self-esteem issues . . . . and is they are trying to conceal it by treating the people around them harshly. By pushing people down gives that person the false allusion of satisfaction.

This person will eventually . . . . self-destruct.

There is another type of person that spends their lifetime in pulling and pushing people up.

They are the mentors in life . . . . that person will be there to give a person a boost at just the right time . . . . and help them to push up when it’s needed.

The mentors are the giver in life and what they do is not done for recognition or personal gain. The giver gains person satisfaction in helping others to succeed . . . . and in helping them to achieve their goals.

But something happens along the way for a giver, they become recognized for what they have done . . . . and what they have contributed to others. They will attract success through their efforts of giving.

There are two types of pushers in life the person who pushes people down . . . . and the person that pushes people up and boosters them. There are light years of differences between the two.

The path way to success and achievement is to pull other people up and you will find your strength and purpose.

Choose Wisely

Motivational Power Quote

Choose Wisely
Life is change.
Growth is optional.
Choose wisely.”
Karen Kaiser Clark, Inspirational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Choose wisely

Life is a moving target . . . .  just when you think you have everything figured out everything changes. Change can be good and enhance your personal growth. Or you can encounter change that will need your immediate attention to get you back on track.

Change is a fact of life and how you handle it is optional.  Change come many direction and comes around when you least expect it.

Turn the change you encounter into a positive experience and apply the lessons for person growth.

When changes occur you have choices.

How you respond to change will impact your life and future.  The person who looks at change as a potential opportunity will look at change as a positive event. The person that sees change as just another obstacle will see change as a negative event.

How you look at change will determine what you see, in the change.  How we see the change will establish the course of actions that you will take with the change. Seeing the change as a positive event with opportunities you will go forward with a positive attitude.

You will have expectations to make the best of the situation and find a way to use change to create success and personal growth.  You will move to the leading edge of change and take control of the change and our future.

When you become overwhelmed with change, your thinking will move inward and in time the change controls will control you.

Choose wisely because what you choose to do impacts your future and quality of life.

Challenges Are What We Make of Them

Motivational Power Quote

Challenges Are What We Make of Them
“Challenges are an opportunity to learn to grow.”
Anonymous

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Challenges are what we make of them

We can find our self in the middle of a major challenge that may initially seem that there is no out of successfully.

How we see the challenge will determine how we will respond to the challenge. A person that sees the challenge has an opportunity will go after the challenge and resolve it with passion. The person that sees the challenge as overwhelming will quit.

When we search for answers to resolve a challenge we will uncover the opportunities to open the new doors. With those new doors opening they will lead to greater success and we experience an opportunity for personal growth.

Success comes through our persistence to successfully work through the challenge and turning into an opportunity.

A challenge can cause a person stress and disrupt their success journey, if they allow it to.

A successful person will use a challenging situation as a stepping stone for their future success. They will approach the challenge with a positive attitude, seek answers and know what desired outcome they are looking for.

Excellence is the Result of Steady Personal Growth

Motivational Power Quote

Excellence is the Result of Steady Personal Growth
“Excellence is the gradual result
of always striving to do better.”
Pat Riley, basketball coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Excellence is the result of steady personal

Committing to personal excellence is the commitment to strive to get better everyday and to doing things a little better then we have done them in the past.

Striving for excellence in the things we do will not always be able to be measured by large gains. Excellence can be measured by continued incremental improvement. Much of that improvement comes without fanfare and happens in private.

Excellence is not an overnight thing; it’s the result of steady personal growth.

Personal Growth
“The strongest principle of growth

George Eliot, English Novelist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Personal growth

Our choices become the foundation for our personal growth and make us who we are.

The quality of those choices will determine how high we’re soar.

Our lives in our hands and our choices are ours to make. Make the choices wisely focusing on the big picture and your objectives.

The strongest principle of our person growth comes from the strength of our choices.

Take the Road Less Traveled

Motivational Power Quote

Take the Road Less Traveled
“There are those who work all day.
Those who dream all day and
those who spend an hour dreaming
before setting to work
to fulfill those dreams.
Go into the third category
because there’s
virtually no competition.”
Steven Ross, Time Warner CEO

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Take the road less traveled

We can choose to work all day, leaving no time for planning. Our day becomes reactive to our tasks at hand leaving very little room for creativity thinking or personal growth.

We can spend our days dreaming, to the point where we find very little time to take action on our dreams. Dreaming without action is recipe for failure.

The toll to enter the road to success; is to invest time everyday in reviewing your dreams and planning your day for success.

Make everyday a day that moves you in the direction of your goals by taking massive action to get you to your desired outcome.

You will find there very little competition on the road to success, its road less traveled.
