Your Words Will Withstand the Test of time

Your Words Will Withstand the Test of time
“Color fade, temples crumble, empires fall,
but wise words endure”
Edward Thorndike, American psychologist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your words will withstand the test of time

Choose your words wisely for they will withstand the test of time.

Your words will build bridges that will bring people together . . . . or they can create chasm of indifference.

Choose your words to make friend . . . . and to foster lasting relationships for your words will come back to you with interest.

Let your words speak for you when you’re not present . . . . and they will speak volumes for who you are as a person.

The words you speak will withstand the test of time in the mind of the people that you have relationship with. Those words will become the words that will generate a lasting business relationships . . . . and will influence future referrals.

Your words will become the foundation for people to see you as a person with integrity and values. Those words create the raving fans in your life.

The words may be short and spoken in quick context, but they will endure so choose your words wisely.

Your words will withstand the test of time . . . . and will become your calling card for future business and referrals. Choose your words with care and your words will speak kindly of you.

A Life Lived With Integrity

A Life Lived With Integrity
“A life lived with integrity-even if it lacks the trappings of
fame and fortune is a shining star in whose light
others may follow in the years to come.”
Denis Waitley, Self-Help Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A life lived with integrity

Integrity is the foundation for who a person becomes.

You can’t buy integrity it’s earned as a result of the way you carry yourself throughout your life and in your actions.

Having integrity won’t guarantee your success . . . . But without integrity there will be no lasting success.

Ones integrity will set the person apart from the crowd.  A person with integrity will stand above the crowed masses and standout. They will be seen as a person that can be counted on . . . . and someone that will deliver on their promises.

A life lived with integrity and you’ll live a life of honor and one that you can look back on with pride. Integrity is not a shortcut to success . . . . but one of continued growth and achievement.

A life lived with integrity . . . . is to live a life of the best is yet to come.

Holding Yourself to a Higher Standard

Motivational Power Quote

Holding Yourself to a Higher Standard
Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anyone
else expects of you. Never excuse yourself. Never pity yourself.
Be a hard master to yourself and be lenient to everyone else.”
Henry Ward Beecher 1813 - 1887, American Congregationalist
Clergyman, Social Reformer, Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Holding yourself to a higher standard

Set a higher standard for your life . . . .  one that you will be proud to live out each day and one to be remembered by. Hold that higher standard through-out your life and you will enjoy the success journey of your life.

The standards that you hold yourself to, will determine the air that you place under your wings . . . . and how high you will soar.

Your standards make you who you are . . . . and create a direction for your life . . . . They will impact what you achieve in your lifetime.

Higher standards come from the heart and are a direct reflection on who you are as a person.

You will be challenged at times to lower your higher standard for short term gains . . . . a quick fix . . . . or quicker success. If your compromise your standards you compromise your integrity . . . . and you may never recover what was lost by lowering your standards or compromising your integrity.

Holding yourself to a higher standard . . . . may not always get you to the destination faster . . . . but you will find that it’s a truer course of action to follow.

Integrity is Doing the Right Thing

Motivational Power Quote

Integrity is Doing the Right Thing
“Do the right thing . . . . especially when no one’s watching.”
Cherie Carter Scott Ph.D., author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Integrity is doing the right thing

Doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do is the foundation of a person’s integrity.

When faced with the choice between doing the right thing and the politically correct thing you have been asked to compromise your values and integrity.

Doing the political correct thing will compromise a persons position for someone’s personal gain. That gain can be very short lived as the people around them will see them as a person without integrity and someone that will put person gain ahead of doing the right thing.

People will see us as strong or weak, truthful or dishonest, reliability or unreliable. How a person sees us is based on the message that we send them; a message of integrity or a message of compromised values.

Success in life and business will be achieved by value driven behavior; the behavior of integrity.

Integrity is doing the right thing. The person that takes that position is a person of integrity and of values.

Running a Different Race

Motivational Power Quote

Running a Different Race
“Nice Guy may appear to finish last,
but usually they are running a different race.”
Ken Blanchard, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Running a different race

Run the race of purpose of effort with integrity where your actions speak for you. People with judge you on the level of your integrity, your efforts and your results not on what you were going to do.

Having a purpose gives you a direction for the race you run and for your life.

You’re not running a race of someone else’s standards or someone else’s race; it’s your race to run.

The race you’re running is the race that you choose to run. You choose the standards for your integrity and the terms of the race.

When you’re running a difference race there will be times that you feel that you’re the only running the race, and many times you are. Your running a race of integrity and a race of purpose.

When you run a race purpose with integrity as you get closed to the finish line you’ll find that you ran a different race and the dissenters that you encountered along the way have been left behind.

Doing What’s Right

Motivational Power Quotes

Doing What’s Right
“Have the courage to say no.
Have the courage to face the truth.
Do the right thing because it is right.
These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity.”
W. Clement Stone, self help author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Doing what’s right

If I do things that don’t feel right, after I do them I find that I was right. If it doesn’t feel right to you it’s not.

Do the right things for the right reasons and do them with integrity.

Doing what’s right is more important than doing what’s politically correct.

Overtime, people will judge us by our actions.

Act from integrity and do the right thing.

People Will Talk

Motivational Power Quote

People Will Talk
“Instead of worrying about
what people say of you,
why not spend to accomplish
something they will admire.”
Dale Carnegie, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

People will talk . . . . but what will they say?

Don’t worry about what people will say about you; instead invest your time and energy in creating the things you want the people to say.

Have them speak of you as a person of integrity and someone who can be counted on.

What people will say about us is our choice, and created through our decisions and actions. We choose who we are and the way we want people to see us and speak about us.

Live a life of purpose and achievement. Be a giver to those around you and you will find that people will speak in glowing terms about you and you will be admired by many.

People will talk and reputation will speak for you.

Integrity is Telling the Truth

Motivational Power Quote

Integrity is Telling the Truth
“What upsets me is not that you lied to me,
but that I can no longer believe you.”
Friedrich Nietzsche

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Integrity is telling the truth.

There is no such thing as a half truth; it’s either the truth or a lie. It’s the lines between the truth becomes blurred take the high road, be a person of integrity.

The truth forms a bond of integrity, and mutual trust.

Successful relationships are based on integrity. Stand above the crowd and you will stand out.

A lie creates a breakdown of a person’s integrity where they can no longer to trusted or believed, and there is a lost of reputation.

Protect your integrity and be a person of the truth.

Integrity is telling the truth and telling the truth is a person choice.

Integrity is a 100 Percent Thing

Motivational Power Quote

Integrity is a 100 Percent Thing
“Integrity is not a 90 percent thing,
not a 95 percent thing - -
either you have it
or you don’t.”
Peter Scotese, chairman New York Fashion
Institute of Technology.

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Integrity is a 100 percent thing.

A person with integrity is described as being honest. Can a person have integrity if they are not honest 100% of the time?

Integrity is also described as the impressions that a person makes. Can a person maintain the impression of integrity where they are not consistent in there actions, behavior and reliability?

Be a person of consistent values and have the courage to do what’s right.

Integrity will take us from good to great in the eyes of the people we do business with and in our personal relationships.

Integrity shows and we will be judged by our integrity; we either have it or we don’t.

Integrity is a personal choice and is activated in our behavior.

Doing What’s Right When no One is Around

Motivational Power Quote

Doing What’s Right When no One is Around

“Integrity is doing the right thing,
ever if there is no chance
you would be caught doing
the wrong thing.”
David Cottrell, author, speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Doing what’s right when no one is around.

Doing the right thing is a choice, a choice about one’s integrity when there’s no one around watching what you’re doing.

One’s integrity should be non-negotiable. Integrity is part of our core values and who we are as a person.

There will be times that that we reach a crossroad were we can choose to compromise our integrity because no one will ever find out what we did. At that moment we are testing our integrity. A small compromise with our integrity changes our values and tarnishes our truthfulness with others and ourselves.

Maintaining your integrity and doing the right thing when no one is around, creates your reputation and is a foundation for continued success.

There will always be one person there no matter what you’re doing, and that person is you.

Be honesty with yourself in your thinking and do the right thing.

Put Principles Above Privileges

Motivational Power Quote

Put Principles Above Privileges

“A people that value
it’s privileges
above it’s principles
soon loses both.”
Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the US

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Put principles above privileges.

The foundation of our principles is in our personal beliefs and our moral code of ethics.

Our principles are what will guide us in our actions, based on our philosophy, thoughts and values.

A privilege is the ability to do or to have, it’s an opportunity that may or may not be permanent.

A person that places their principles above their privileges becomes a person of substance.

The person that places their privileges above their principles will find that their privileges will soon disappear and they will be seen as a person of no principles.

When you let your principles guide you; you will be seen as a person with integrity.

Motivational Power Quote

Integrity is the Secret of Doing What’s Right

“If you have integrity,
nothing else matters.
If you don’t have integrity,
nothing else matters.”
Alan Simpson

As I see it. . . . . . .
Integrity is the secret of doing what’s right, because it’s the right thing to do.

Doing the right thing is not always the easiest path to take. In some cases, integrity can have a short term cost, but it will pay dividends in the long run.

Your reputation will follow you. Doing what’s right creates a solid foundation for your life, your business and will plant the seeds for your future success based on your reputation.

Your integrity is that inter voice that guides your thoughts and actions.

Integrity is your moral compass that will maintain your values and keep you focused on doing the right thing during challenging and stressful times.
