Choose the Direction for Your Life

Motivational Power Quote

Choose the Direction for Your Life
“All men should try to learn
before they die,
what they are running from and to,
and why.”
James “Thunder” Jones

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Choose the direction for your life.

Learn what you want from your life and go after it with massive action and passion.
You’re either move towards what you want from your life or you’re moving away from it.

Both directions affect your success and your life, moving towards what you want brings you success, achievement and fulfillment. Moving you away from what you want clauses us stress and dissatisfaction with ourselves and those who are around us.
It’s important to know what we are running from, put it in perspective, face it and reframe it. Determine why you have been running from it and how to change it. When you do you may realize that what you been running from can removed from your life or theirs a way to overcome it.
Understand what you been running to, if it’s what you want continue to go after it with a purpose or adjust it to fit your vision.

Go in the direction of the things you want and will find that they become within your reach.

Satisfaction Is In Doing Your Best

Motivational Power Quote

Satisfaction Is In Doing Your Best

“Satisfaction lies in the effort,
not in the attainment.
Full effort is full victory.”
Mohandas Gandhi, spiritual and political leader

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Satisfaction is in doing your best.

Doing our very best creates personal satisfaction from knowing that we have our best efforts. There is an inter peace knowing you done your best and seeing the results from those efforts.

When we commit ourselves to do our best and we achieve the desired results. We may very well find ourselves receiving far more personal satisfaction in our efforts then by the actual results that we have accomplished.

Celebrate your efforts; your commitments to your efforts that makes your victory possible.

Maximize your Priorities

Motivational Power Quote

Maximize your Priorities

“The key is not to prioritize
what is on the schedule,
but to schedule your priorities.”
Stephen Covey, author, speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Maximize your priorities.

Creating a schedule and then prioritizing that schedule, doesn’t address your priorities and will result in an ineffective use of your time and will result in low impact results.

The key is to create a schedule of your priorities; then prioritizing the priorities on your schedule.

What are the things that are most important for you to accomplish today that will contribute to your success?

What activities will move you closer to your goals?

By scheduling your priorities your days become increasing productive, you will see a higher return on your efforts that moves you in the direction of your goals and reduce your stress.

Few Things are Impossible

 Motivational Power Quote

Few Things are Impossible

“Few things are impossible
to the diligence and skilled.
Great works are performed
not by strength, but by perseverance.”

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Few things are impossible.

Being diligence and skilled in your chosen profession increases your possibilities.

The diligence person that’s exercises urgency in their efforts will be seen by others as a leader in their field. When we commit to work for our success we increase our possible of success.

Acquiring and applying the necessary skills opens the doors that are closed to others.

Few things become impossible for those who are diligence in their efforts and willing to consistently apply the skills needed to succeed.

Do it or Don’t

  Motivational Power Quote

Do it or Don’t

“Do or do not. There is no try.”

Yoda, Jeri Master in Star Wars

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Do it or don’t.

The choice becomes to do it or not to do it.

Both are absolute either we do or don’t, and they are both an action. One becomes a positive action the other a negative response of no action.

Try is to think about it, it becomes a maybe. If the response of trying is taken, the response is taken without a conviction or commitment

The likely outcome will be weak at best.

Make the decision either to do it or not to do it, trying should not be an option.

Continued Incremental Improvement

  Motivational Power Quote

Continued Incremental Improvement

“Only those who constantly retool themselves
stand a chance of staying employed in the years ahead.”
Tom Peters, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Continued incremental improvement . . . . becomes critical to stay completive in a completive world and business.

Retooling ourselves and sharpening our skills is required to stay ahead in your field. Professionals who retool themselves will carve out a distinct business advantage.

The choice is clear retool ourselves and move forward with confidence or stay as we are and fall behind.

We retool ourselves by committing to daily incremental improvement in our attitude, in our business and in our social skills. At first the improvement isn’t always noticeable over time the different become enormous and will separate us from those who elected to stay the same.

Retool and thrive.

then it will become

a truth for you.”

Louise Hay

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Be a no limit person.

Never accept a belief that will place limits on us as a person or on our possibilities.

Think in terms of unlimited possibilities.

What we think about will become our truth; think the best about ourselves and we get better, think in terms of unlimited possibilities and doors open.

The Period of Our Greatest Gain

Motivational Power Quote

The Period of Our Greatest Gain

“The period of greatest gain
in knowledge and experience is
the most difficult period in ones life.”
Daiai Lama

As I see it. . . . . . . .
The period of our greatest gain . . . .

Comes from the most challenging and difficult period’s of our life’s. In times of difficulties we gain insight on how to overcome our challenges and that knowledge becomes invaluable.

As we gain knowledge we seek new ways to use it. As we use our new knowledge it creates change and a point of stepping away from the security of our comfort zone.

We trade short term difficulties for change; the change for long term gains from application of our new knowledge.

Adjusting as a result of our past experiences creates an unparalleled opportunity. Our biggest difficulty is to accept the fact that things did not turn out as planned and making the adjustments that are required to move forward successfully.

Short term difficulties are a small price to pay for long term gains and success.

Seek the path for your success journey.

Our success journey has a path but it not always seen, it may take and extra effort to see it. The path may obscured by our thinking or we may not recognize the opportunity that present themselves to us.

Keep your eyes open for the opportunities and think in terms of possibilities.

Motivational Power Quote

Place a Value on Yourself

“Until you value yourself,
you won’t value your time.
Until you value your time,
you will not do anything with it.”
M. Scott Peck, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Place a value on yourself.

Look in a mirror; the value you see in yourself is the value that you reflect to others.

Before other place value in us, we have to see the value in ourselves.

You are a unique person with unique values. Believe in yourself, believe in the values your offer to others and value in yourself.

Before other respect us we have to respect ourselves.

Engage in positive self-talk see yourself the way you want to be and others to see you.

Our time becomes perishable once it passes its gone forever. Place a value on your time and others will respect your time.

Until we value ourselves and our time, nothing positive will happen with it.

Our Information Will Influence Our Judgment

Motivational Power Quote

Our Information Will Influence Our Judgment

“A business man’s judgment
is no better than
his information.”
Robert P. Lamont

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Our information will influence our judgment.

When we are asked by our customers for assistants the information that we give them is critical in the business process.

The information we offer our customers is based on our skills, and accumulated knowledge. Our depth of our knowledge becomes the resource for the information that we offer.

Our judgment of our customer’s motivations needs and their circumstances will determine the information we offer them.

Our information will influence our judgment on how to best help our customers.

Providing accurate information to someone determines the confidence that person has in us and our level of influence with the person.

Failure is Not Fatal

Motivational Power Quote

Failure is Not Fatal

“Failure is not fatal,
but failure to change might be.”
John Wooden, basketball coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Failure is not fatal.

Some of the most successful people that have experienced great failure achieved their greatest successes of they overcame the failure.

Thomas Edison found 10,000 ways that a light bulb would not work, before he invented the light bulb.

Colonial Sanders made 1000 calls to sell his chicken recipe before someone agreed to paid to use the chicken recipe.

Michael Jordan was cut from this high school basketball team. He went on to become one of the all time great NBA players and a member of the NBA Hall of Fame.

Steven Spielberg was rejected by UCLA film school, become an award winning director.

Failure is not fatal its part of our learning process. The only time failure becomes fatal is when we decide not to change or adjust and not to continue to pursue our goals.

“One of the secrets of success
is to refuse to let
temporary setbacks defeat us.”
Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay cosmetics

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Temporary setbacks are a fact of life, and we all face them at one time or another.

Stand up and stand strong and refuse to let a temporary setback defeat you.

Find a way though, over, or around a setback, focus on the solutions to a setback not the setback.

Don’t let a setback control your life. Take control of the setback and the solutions and then we control our life.

Work though your setbacks focus on the solution and stay positive.
