One Constant In Life is Change

One Constant In Life  is Change
“We must welcome change as the rule, but as the ruler.”
Denis Waitley, American Motivational Speaker,
Writer, Consultant and Best Selling Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
One constant in life is change

The one constant that you have in your life is change . . . . it happens with or without your input.

Change in itself . . . . is neither good nor bad it just is.

You can react to change . . . . and let the change that comes into your life control you and your future. Or you can be proactive with change. You can respond to change . . . . and stay in control of the changing conditions that come into your life.

You will experience difference levels of change in your live everyday some very small that goes almost unnoticed  . . . and other change that can transform your life to a new level.

Take control of the change that enters your life . . . . with positive thinking and in your actions. Make the most of the positive change that comes into your life.

And don’t allow the negative change that you encounter to control your thinking . . . . your life or your future. When you encounter negative change, become a problem solver in the room. Look for the solutions . . . . and find the best way to remove the condition from your life in a positive manner.

Stay in control of change and you stay in control of your life. As change comes into your life look the rainbow of opportunity . . . . and pot of goal that the opportunities offer.

One constant in life is change. Change happens, the way you handle the change . . . . is optional . . . . and will make all the difference on how the change will affects you.

The Time to Start is Now . . . .

The Time to Start is Now . . . .
“If you wait for the perfect moment when all is safe
and assured, it may never arrive, mountains
will not be climbed, races won, or
lasting happiness achieved.”
 Maurice Chevalier 1888 - 1972, French Actor,
Cabaret Singer, Entertainer

As I see it. . . . . . . .
The time to start is now . . . .

There is no perfect moment to start something . . . . and to move forward. But the best time to start is now . . . . and in this moment.

You can make all the excuses in the world for all the reason why you can’t start now. Or you can make the decision to move forward to the next level . . . . and the best time to start is now.

Not starting . . . . is practicing the art of procrastination of putting off what can be done today to some undetermined time in the future.

Starting now is making the decision to take control of your life . . . . and your destiny. The best time to take control of your future is now.

The time is now.

You can wait for a perfect moment . . . . but has you wait your life will pass you by . . . . and that perfect moment will never arrive. Or you can take control of the moments in your life . . . . and do the best you can with resources you have and start.

At that moment you will realize that the best time to start is now.

Control Your Marketing Cost

Control Your Marketing Cost
“Half the money I spend on advertising is wasted:
the trouble is I don’t know which half.”
John Wanamaker 1938 - 1922, American Businessman,
Religious Leader, Civic and Political Figure

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Control your marketing costs

A recent marketing study shows that nearly 70% of all marketing dollars are wasted.

Spending money on marketing and personal promotion can become a bottomless pit . . . . or become  an effective business tool. It’s not about how much money you spend on marketing . . . . it a matter of the effective use of your marketing dollars.

Seven steps to effective control your marketing dollars and maximize your results.

1. Identify your target market and determine the best methods to consistently reach your target audience.

2. Design your marketing to fit your target audience needs . . . . to create interest in your product and services.

3. Match your marketing message to your professional image . . . and target market.

4. Measure the results of your marketing against your goals . . . . and your marketing dollars spent.

5. Adjust and prune, continue to evaluate the results of your marketing adjust what needs to be adjusted . . . . and prune what no longer is working.

6. All of your marketing should have a call to action in the copy. Create the interest in the marketing message . . . . and a reason to contact you.

7. Narrowcasting is defining your target market of the most likely customers. Instead of trying to market to the world you narrowcast to a define target market.  This form of marketing can be described as being the big fish in a small pond. In being the big fish in a small pond it gives us the ability to deliver a consistent message to your target audience . . . . and tighter control on our marketing dollars.

Being the big fish a smaller pond you bring greater recognition to your marketing . . . . and to yourself as a professional. Over time with a consistent effort you will be seem as an expert in the market.

By focusing on a target market . . . . you are able to create a focused marketing program on a target market. Target market creates greater exposure and concentration which will evolve into greater personal and brand recognition.

Nearly 70% of marketing dollars are wasted. That can be reversed by following the seven steps of effective marketing and focus your marketing on a target audience . . . .and by measuring the results.

The Positive Thinker Sees the Invisible

The Positive Thinker Sees the Invisible
“The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the
intangible, and achieves the impossible.”
Author unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .
The positive thinker sees the invisible

A positive thinker can look into the fog of the future . . . . and find the ray of sunshine . . . . and a beam of hope to create a brighter and prosperous future.

Positive thinkers . . . . are positive people they have their fair share of bad days . . . .  failure and setbacks they are not immune to life’s ups and downs. From that aspect they’re like everyone else. But there is a big difference in them . . . . and that difference is their attitude . . . . And in how they handle their problems and how they use their problems solving skills.

A positive thinker is focused on solutions to a challenging condition and results. They will invest their coming up with solutions and not dwelling on the problem. They are also action orientated and they will come up with the best way to overcome the condition and then push forward.

The positive thinker takes control of their problems . . . . and conditions in their life and by taking control they have control of the outcome.

No matter if it’s solving problems . . . . or looking for opportunities positive thinker sees the invisible. They will find a way to solve a problem . . . . and will continually stretch them self to find the opportunity. They will look over the horizon for solutions and opportunity. They not to proud to ask for help when it’s needed or to pick up the opportunity that’s resting at their feet.

What You’re Aware of You Can Control

What You’re Aware of You Can Control
“What you are aware of you are in control of;
what you are not aware of is in control of you.”
Anthony de Mello, Author, Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .
What you’re aware of you can control

Be aware of your business and personal environment for what you understand you can control. Know the people in your life . . . . and be grateful for the people that are there to support you . . . . your efforts . . . .  and are there to mentor you.

Call them friends . . . . and treat them as valued resources in your life.

What you are unaware will control you.

To compete in a changing and competitive business environment you have to keep your skills to razor sharp edge.  The professional that has the sharpest skills . . . . and applies them in a professional and affective manner creates a strategic business advantage.

Having an awareness that you have to continue to acquire new skills . . . . and keep your existing skill sharp and relevant will keep you on the leading edge of success.

Awareness keeps you tuned in your personal surrounding . . . . and your professional environment. Awareness gives you the ability to adjust when it’s required . . . . and lets you know when you’re on track. Awareness is your person GPS that lets you know where you are at any time in your career and in your life.

What you’re aware of you can control and that control will allow you to stay in control of your environment.

Make the Decision Commit to the Result

Make the Decision Commit to the Result
“Making a true decision means committing to achieving
a result, and then cutting yourself off
from any other possibility.”
Anthony Robbins, author, self-help expert

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Make the decision commit to the result

Each decision that you make requires an action to bring it to a successful conclusion . . . . and to produce the desired results. A decision without actions drifts . . . . and in most cases you lose control of the results.

When you make a decision, know what the desired results are that you want before you implement the decision.

Build your decision around creating the desired results and put your decision into action. Commit yourself to achieving the desired results . . . . and focus you actions and energy on achieving that outcome.

A half hearted decision will result in a minimum effort . . . . and very poor results. A committed decision where you’re passionate about achieving the results will result in a strong focused effort on your part to create the desired results.

A decision can start an action; a committed decision moves the decision from a like too . . . . to a must get it done. The difference between the two is worlds apart . . . . and will show up in the quality of your results.

Make the decision commit to the results . . . . will focus you on the key element of the decision making process which is the desired results.

Take Responsibility

Take Responsibility
“You can’t escape the responsibility of
tomorrow by evading it today.”

of the United States

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Positive Change is a Proactive Activity

Positive Change is a Proactive Activity
“They say that time changes things,
but you actually have to change them yourself.”
Andy Warhol 1928 - 1987, an American Artist

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Positive change is a proactive activity

Time doesn’t change things . . . you do

The things in your life remain the same until you take the proactive steps to change them. Things may evolve without your input . . . . and in those circumstances you don’t control how things evolve or the outcome.

If you’re not happy with the circumstances in your life there, is on one person that can change them . . . . and you look that person in the eye everyday in a mirror . . . . and that person is you.

When it comes to change you’re responsible for the change that you want to see in your life. If you want change you have to take the actions that will bring about the change you want to see.

Positive change is a proactive activity . . . . Remember time doesn’t change things . . . you do.

Blend in or Standout

Blend in or Standout
“The idea that men are created free and equal is both true
and misleading: men are created different; they lose
their social freedom and their individual autonomy
in seek to become like each other.”
David Riesman 1909 – 2002, Sociologist, Attorney,
Educator

As I see it . . . . . . .

Blend in or standout

You can choose to follow the crowd . . . . and try to blend in with everyone else.

Or you can choose to follow a different path . . . . the path to standout.

You’re free to make a choice on what you do . . . . how you do it . . . . any why you do it.

When you make the choice to blend in . . . . You follow the crowd and give up your individually, get involved in group think and go along with what the crowd is doing.

In making the choice to standout . . . . your making the choices to take control of your life . . . . your choices . . . . and to follow the path of your choosing.

We are all born free . . . . free to make choices.

The choice is yours . . . .  Ask yourself do you want to blend in or standout?

Leftovers Go to Those Who Wait

Leftovers Go to Those Who Wait
“The first man gets the oyster, the second man gets
the shell.”
Andrew Carnegie 1835 - 1919, Scottish – American Entrepreneur
 and Industrialist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Leftovers go to those who wait

The leftovers go to those who are content to wait . . . . and settle for what’s left.

Know what you want to achieve with your life . . . . and create the goals to achieve them. Don’t wait for permission to achieve your goals . . . . and don’t allow people tell you what can’t be done, or this is not the right time.

When you listen to those people you will be served the leftovers of life and you deserve to have the right to earn the main course.

In letting people tell you what you can and can’t achieve with your life is in essences allowing other people to control direction that your life takes. You are the master of your life and your future. Take control of your life and the direction of your success journey. It’s your life and you and control the course that you want you success journey to take.

Decide on the direction you want your life to take and follow that path with a purpose.

You have to decide if you want the oysters that life has to offer . . . . or if you will settle for the leftovers - the shells.

Leftovers go to those who wait . . . . Look at the menu of life and select the main course . . . . and go for it.

Decide to Act . . . . Don’t React

Decide to Act . . . . Don’t React
“The possibilities are numerous once we decide to act
and not react.”
George Bernard Shaw 1856 - 1950, Irish Playwright
And Co-Founder of the London School of Economics

As I see it . . . . . . .

Decide to act . . . . don’t react

Your future is a blank canvass . . . . that only you can paint.

To paint the canvass with our future you have to have a vision for what you want your future be . . . . and how to paint in.  You will have to act on your vision to make it become what you believe it can be.

There are only two ways that the canvass of your life can be painted. You can take control of your life and act on determining your future and to start to paint your canvass as we want to see that future. Or you can decide to live a reactive life . . . . and have someone else paint the canvass of your life for you . . . . as they see your life.

The choice is simple to act and to control your future . . . . or too reactive and have someone else decide your life for you.

Create a grand vision for your life . . . . and act on your vision of what you want your life to be.

See your life as a blank canvass . . . . and use your imagination to paint your future. Remember you have the bush . . . . it’s your canvass . . . . and you have the paint. So paint your life and it can be anything that you want it to be.

Believe in the possibility for your future, because what you believe you can make come true.

Make the decision and to decide to act . . . . and not to reaction . . . . and to take control of your destiny.

Decide to act . . . . don’t react and you will take control of your future.
