The Time to Start is Now . . . .

The Time to Start is Now . . . .
“If you wait for the perfect moment when all is safe
and assured, it may never arrive, mountains
will not be climbed, races won, or
lasting happiness achieved.”
 Maurice Chevalier 1888 - 1972, French Actor,
Cabaret Singer, Entertainer

As I see it. . . . . . . .
The time to start is now . . . .

There is no perfect moment to start something . . . . and to move forward. But the best time to start is now . . . . and in this moment.

You can make all the excuses in the world for all the reason why you can’t start now. Or you can make the decision to move forward to the next level . . . . and the best time to start is now.

Not starting . . . . is practicing the art of procrastination of putting off what can be done today to some undetermined time in the future.

Starting now is making the decision to take control of your life . . . . and your destiny. The best time to take control of your future is now.

The time is now.

You can wait for a perfect moment . . . . but has you wait your life will pass you by . . . . and that perfect moment will never arrive. Or you can take control of the moments in your life . . . . and do the best you can with resources you have and start.

At that moment you will realize that the best time to start is now.

You Become the Person of Your Habits

You Become the Person of Your Habits
“Every Grown-up man consists wholly of habits,
although he is after unaware of it and even
denies having any habits at all.”
George Gurgjieff 1866 - 1949, Spiritual Teacher,
Philosopher

As I see it. . . . . . . .
You become the person of your habits

We all have them . . . . they’re our habits. Some habits will make a positive difference in your life . . . .  and some you need to drop like a hot potato. Some habits will pave the way for your success journey . . . . and some will have the capacity to create barriers on your journey.

Habits are formed over time . . . . As they are formed they become ingrained habits that are repeatedly done over and over without giving them much thought to your actions.

People become a creature of their habits . . . .  and over time their habits make them who they are.

Your productive habits should be fostered as they become your strengths . . . . They become the foundation for your success journey to take you to greater levels of achievement.

You also develop habits that can be holding you back from reaching your full potential.

The bad habits need to be identified . . . . and replaced with a new productive habit.

In time you become the person of your habits.

Your Actions Will Speak for You

Your Actions Will Speak for You
“A superior man acts before he speaks, and afterward
speaks according to his actions.”
Confucius 551 BC - 479 BC, Chinese Teacher, Editor,
Politician and Philosopher

As I see it . . . . . . .
Your actions will speak for your

For every action that you take, there will be an equal reaction . . . . and an element of risk.

The cost of success comes in your willingness to take action . . . . To invest your time . . . . your resources . . . . your energy . . . . and take a calculated risk in order to succeed.

Have the courage of your convictions . . . . and take the actions that will move you closer to achieving your goals.

Conversely remaining in your comfort zone that result in inaction has greater risks with a higher probability of creating a massive failure then taking a calculated risk through your actions.

The cost of success is in your planning . . . . taking action . . . . and accepting the possibility of a calculated risk.

Your actions will speak for you . . . . let it be one that your customers speak for you.

When You Believe It’s Possible

When You Believe It’s Possible
“The only way to discover the limits of the possible
is to go beyond them in to the impossible.”
Arthur C. Clark, Author, Futurist

As I see it . . . . . . .
When you believe it’s possible

Breakthroughs don’t occur in the status quo. Breakthroughs take place when you stretch yourself beyond what’s possible . . . . and stretch yourself into what others consider as being impossible.

Doing what you do . . . . and doing it in the same way that you have also been doing it, will get you at best no more then what you’re been getting. In many cases what you are doing has reached its limit . . . . and will experience demising returns on your investment of time and efforts.

One of the biggest deterrence to stretching your limits is the fear of moving out of your comfort zone of doing what’s comfortable and familiar.

Doing the impossible is really removing the fear of the uncertainly of doing something new . . . .  and stepping outside of your comfort zone to do it.

When you look around you there are so many businesses and business models that have failed because they did not step outside of their comfort zone . . . . and stretch the limits to achieve greater success.

A good example of a failing business model is the post office. The business model has been failing for years and losing money. Instead of reinventing themselves they have been putting band aids on their business model.

Look at FedEx a furnishing business model. FedEx has taken the overnight movement of packages worldwide . . . . and made into an art as well as profitable.

The post office continues to operate in their comfort zone of a failing business model. While FedEx when into the impossible stretched the limits . . . . reinvented a business model and operates a successful business and profitable business.

What’s possible and what’s impossible is in the way you think and in your personal beliefs.

When you believe it’s possible . . . . You will be willing step out of your comfort zone to create the results in your beliefs. To go beyond what’s possible you have to stretch your thinking into the possible zone to make it happen.

When You Look at a Door . . . . What Do You See?

When You Look at a Door . . . . What Do You See?
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but
after we look to long at the closed door we do see
the one which has been open for us.”
Helen Keller 1880 - 1968, American Author,
Political Activist and Lecture

As I see it. . . . . . . .
When you look at a door . . . . What Do You See?

Do you seen that when one door closes a new door will opens?

The door of happiness is there for you to open. You will see it when you look for it . . . . and believe it’s there for you to open. When you see the door of happiness, have the courage to open it . . . . and to step through it.

When one door of happiness closes move on . . . . and look for a new door to open.

Don’t spend your time in the past looking at the door that has closed.

Living in the past serves no positive purpose . . . . and you are looking in the wrong direction. When you’re looking in the wrong direction . . . .  and you’ll miss the opportunities that are there for you today.

Keep you mind and eyes open for the new doors to open . . . . and you’ll find them. When one door closes a new door will open.

When you look at a door . . . . What do you see? As to what you see . . . . will determine what you will do.

Get to the Root Of The Problem

Get to the Root Of The Problem
“When solving a problem dig at the root
instead of just hacking at the leaves.”
Anthony J. D’Angelo, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Get to the root of a problem

Problems come in many shapes and sizes . . . . but there is only one effective way to solve a problem. That is you have to get to the root of the problem and remove it to fix it to resolve the problem. When you don’t remove the roots of the problem  . . . .  they become far more likely to grow back.

Some people will dance around a problem allowing the problem to continue to grow. The problem will become worst with time.  It becomes far more exhausting from dancing with the problem . . . . then the efforts it takes to resolve it.

Sitting on a problem is a false sense of security.  It’s like sitting on dynamite it not matter that it’s going to explode . . . .  it only a question of where we’re sitting when it does.

Carrying an unresolved problem with us is physically exhausting, zaps our strength and becomes a massive waste of your time . . . . and increases the level of your stress.

When faced with a problem the fastest and most effective way to solve it is to look for the root cause of the problem and remove it.

Get to the root of the problem concentrates your efforts in looking for the solutions. As you do you will make the best use of your time in managing the problem.

Get to the root of a problem . . . . increases our productively.

It Takes Time to Become an Overnight Sensation

It Takes Time to Become an Overnight Sensation
I've got a theory that if you give 100% all of the time
somehow things will work out in the end.”
Larry Bird, Professional Basketball Player

As I see it . . . . . . .
It takes time to become an overnight sensation

Overnight sensations are not made overnight . . . . they become who they are through persistence effort . . . . and focusing on their goals.

Becoming an overnight sensation takes time . . . . and hard work. They have committed themselves to be the best at what they do. And they have structured their activities to achieve their goals to get them to their objectives.

Overnight sensations will invest the time required to succeed . . . . and their energy in developing the skills necessary to become the best at what they do. When they invest their time . . . . and energy they will move forward in the direction of their goals.

Successful people are consistent with their efforts and will commit to the time required to achieve success. They will also pay the price for success.

Be an overnight sensation . . . . and Commit yourself to become an overnight sensation . . . . and enjoy the journey.

When it comes right down to it . . . .  it takes time to become an overnight sensation along . . . . with persistence and hard work.

Don’t Waste Your Life Worrying About The Small Stuff

Don’t Waste Your Life Worrying About The Small Stuff
“It takes a real storm in a person’s life to make him realize
how much worrying he has done over a squalls.”
Author unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Don’t waste your life worrying about the small stuff

Stop spending time worrying about things that will never happen . . . . it’s a complete waste of your time . . . . your energy . . . .  and your life.

Stop worrying about the past . . . . that time has come and gone.  Quest what . . . . worrying about the past will not change the course of events of what happened.  Focus on your future by making each day a better day . . . . and your days will shape your future.

Worrying about the small stuff is a time waster . . . . and will drain your energy. Worrying will . . . . cause you to lose your focus and pull you off course.

It’s not until you experience a major storm in your life will you come to realize . . . . that you have been worrying about the small stuff.

Don’t waste your life worrying about the small stuff . . . . put your time and energy to productive use . . . . and that time will build value in your life.

Professionals Know What to Do and What to Ignore

Professionals Know What to Do and What to Ignore
“An expert is someone who has succeeded in making
decisions and judgments simpler through knowing
what to pay attention to and what to ignore.”
Edward de Bono, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Professionals know what to do and what to ignore

You do things everyday in your life . . . . and you do them without much thought . . . . they are ingrained habits.

A habit can either be good or bad, productive or unproductive. Your habits set the course for your life’s direction. Productive habits move you in the direction of achieving your goals . . .  and to achieving a greater level of success.

A negative or poor habit weights your success journey down . . . . and creates a drag on your forward progress to achieve your objectives and in your career.

Professionals know what’s required to achieve success.

They will focus their daily activities on doing the most important things

. . . . This will create the forward momentum to accomplish their objectives and  that will keep them on track . . . . and moving in the right direction.

Successful people also understand the value of their time. Not only will they focus on the most important things that have to be done. But they are aware what has to be ignored in order to maximize the use of their time.

To maximize their time they will have to take a realistic look at their activities and eliminate the old unproductive habits. The old habits will have to replace with new activities that with form the basis of forming new and more productive habits that will help them to maximize the use of their time and to accelerate their success journey.

There is no one single thing that determines a person success but there are number of things that can derail a person’s success journey. The improper use of time can become a major road block in a person’s success journey that prevents them from reaching their potential.

Professionals know what to do and what to ignore . . . . be that professional. Your life and career will take on new meaning and you will maximize the use of your time and energy to achieve your life’s goals.

Become the Change That You Want To See

Become the Change That You Want To See
“Be the Change you want to see in the world.”
Mahatma Gandhi 1869 - 1948, India Spiritual Leader

As I see it . . . . . . .

Become the change that you want to see

Time doesn’t change things . . . you do.

The things in your life stay the same until you take the steps to change them. Things may evolve without your input . . . . and they just drift without purpose.

You have to become the change that you want to see.

If you’re not happy with the conditions in your life there is only one person that can change them . . . . And you look that person in the eye everyday in a mirror  . . . . and that person is you.

When it comes to change you’re responsible for the change that you want to see. If you want change you have to take the actions that will bring about the change that you want to see.

Time doesn’t change things . . . you do when you take the actions to change them.

You have the ability to rock your world . . . . Become the change that you want to see.

Making Less Mistakes

Making Less Mistakes
“Every mistake that I made-and we all make
mistakes – come because I didn’t take the time
to get all the facts I didn’t drive had enough.”
Charles Knight, artist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Making less Mistakes

Make every effort not to make a mistake . . . . get the information . . . . get the facts . . . . and over prepare to put your self in the position to succeed.

But when you do make a mistake . . . . correct the situation as soon as possible doing the best you can and then move pass the mistake with a renewed energy.

Mistakes can happen at any time but when we have the facts . . . and prepare you minimize your mistakes and increase your effectiveness in the things that you do.

When you are moving forward to increase your pace and you fail to get the facts and prepare you will increase your missteps and end up with lost momentum. When you fail to get the facts you diminish your effectiveness . . . . and create a misuse of your time.

Get the facts in advance of taking action places you into a positive position to succeed and in making less mistakes.  Also you will create a clearer vision of what will have to be done and how to do them effectively.

Get Started and Be a Doer Not a Talker

Motivational Power Quote

Get Started and Be a Doer Not a Talker
The way to get started is to quit talking, and begin doing.”
Walt Disney 1901 – 1966, American entrepreneur, Animator,
Producer, Screenwriter

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Get started and be a doer not a talker

The talker may sound good and talk a big game . . . . but talkers are prone to continue to talk . . . . and rarely will take action on their thoughts.

What a talker will do is to make excuses for their lack of action . . . . and use the blame card for the reason that they can’t get started. A talker life is a life of smoke and mirrors with very little substances.

A doer is a difference type of person . . . . they are the path finders in life and will go where other people have not gone before.

A doer has a vision for their life and goals. There vision of their life burns brightly in their thinking and becomes their purpose.

Doers know what they want to achieve . . . . and what they will have to do to achieve a successful outcome. They are committed to their vision and will focus their time and efforts to make their vision become a reality.

When a doer encounters a obstacles they see it as a challenge that needs to be conquered . . . . and does everything in their power to find a successful solution.

A doer will verbalize what the want to achieve . . . . and then take the actions to achieve their goals. The talker will talk a big game and won’t take action.

The talker continues to talk and wait, while the doer is doing.

Get started be a doer and not a talker.

Successful Entrepreneurs Know the Secret

Motivational Power Quote

Successful Entrepreneurs Know the Secret
“Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand
that there is little between  obstacles and opportunity
and to be able to turn both to their advantage.”
Victor Kiam 1926 - 2001, American entrepreneur

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Successful entrepreneurs know the secret

They know that everyone is blessed with the same 1440 minutes each day. The successful person . . . . understands the value of their time and maximizes the use of it.

A successful person will look at their obstacles . . . . and use their time to find the solutions. They will find a way to turn . . . . their obstacles into opportunities.

One common element of successful entrepreneurs is they will view obstacles as temporary condition and focus on solutions. They will not let their . . . . obstacles distract them or keep them from achieving their goals.

Successful entrepreneur’s remains focused on the desired outcome . . . . and will turn the situations that they encounter in opportunities.

Successful entrepreneurs know the secret . . . . and they use their time and efforts to achieve greater success.

A Productive Pathway to a Successful Future

Motivational Power Quote

A Productive Pathway to a Successful Future
Learn to use ten minutes intelligently.
It will pay you huge dividends.”
William A. Irwin, author

As I see it . . . . . . . .

A productive pathway to a successful future

Time is much like the water in a stream.

The waters of the stream of your life it continues flow pass you. In places in the stream the water may flow very quickly . . . . and other place the flow is reduced to a trickle.  But matter what the flow of the water is . . . . it continues to flow like your time. No matter what flow of the water in the stream of your life . . . . it continues to flow way from you.

As you watch the waters of the stream the water will pass by you and as it does . . . . you will never see the same water pass your way again.

Your time is a perishable resource and once the time has passed you can never go back . . . . and recapture the moments of your time.

You can’t go back in time and recapture your time . . . . but you can reach back and recapture the experiences . . . . and play them forward.

As a stream flows in has no power until the water in harnessed and accumulated to create a great force. Your time is similar to the water in a stream. Your minutes and your days will pass you by and it’s not until you harness the power of your time . . . . You can create a powerful force to control the resource of your time.

There is a great value in learning from the past . . . . and using those experiences to become more resourceful  in the future.

You have the capacity to learn from the experiences that have created the successes in your life . . . . You can use the experiences from your past as a springboard forward . . . . and repeat them for greater success in your future.

It’s the experiences that you learn from your failures and mistakes that builds your character . . . . and can have a dramatic and positive affect on your future. What you learn from failure is that failure . . . . is a condition. And you have it within your power to correct it and not to repeat the situation in the future.

The lessons play forward and you learn what not to do when similar situations occur in the future. You also learn to avoid certain situations . . . . and so not to create a similar situation in the future.

As your lessons play forward . . . . you develop a power resource.

Like the water behind a dam; as the water is released it creates power.

Your time is in the dam of your life you can release your time as a tickle . . . . and it just flows away without impact. Or you can control the use of your time and release it with a purpose . . . . and create a powerful force.

Life lessons can be painful to live through. But when you learn from the experiences and use them positively in the future you have reached back on your time for productive purposes.

Use what you have learned are valuable lesson . . . . becoming a dividend on your time. You may not be able to go back in time but you can use the experiences of the past to create a productive pathway to a successful future.
