You Develop Your Character Under Pressure

You Develop Your Character Under Pressure
“You never will be the person you can be
if pressure, tension and discipline
are out of your life.”
James G. Bilkey, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
You develop your character under pressure

Your character is a lot like a diamond . . . . and its true value is developed under pressure.

In your moments of pressure you are being tested. How you respond to that pressure and test is a choice. The choices you make will make you who you are . . . . and will become the foundation of your character. As you develop you character you will build the inner strength . . . . to stand strong in the changing conditions that you face.

In your most challenging moments you will find the resilient to withstand the storms in your lives . . . . and make good decisions. You may come out of your challenging situations with some bumps and bruised . . . . but with your character in place you will come out standing strong.

Character is the moral fiber to stand strong . . . . and to face your future with the strength to work through any conditions that you encounter.

You develop your character under pressure . . . . and the life you lead will be the reflection of your character . . . . and how you handle the pressures that you encounter in your lives.

Become the Change That You Want To See

Become the Change That You Want To See
“Be the Change you want to see in the world.”
Mahatma Gandhi 1869 - 1948, India Spiritual Leader

As I see it . . . . . . .

Become the change that you want to see

Time doesn’t change things . . . you do.

The things in your life stay the same until you take the steps to change them. Things may evolve without your input . . . . and they just drift without purpose.

You have to become the change that you want to see.

If you’re not happy with the conditions in your life there is only one person that can change them . . . . And you look that person in the eye everyday in a mirror  . . . . and that person is you.

When it comes to change you’re responsible for the change that you want to see. If you want change you have to take the actions that will bring about the change that you want to see.

Time doesn’t change things . . . you do when you take the actions to change them.

You have the ability to rock your world . . . . Become the change that you want to see.

Challenging Situations are a Fact of Life

Challenging Situations are a Fact of Life

As I see it . . . . . . .

Challenging situations are a fact of life . . . . and can surface at any moment, normally when you least expect them.

Many of the situations you face will appear to be out of your control with no possibility to adjust or change.

What you do when your facing a challenging situation will make all the difference . . . . on how the conditions turn out.

You can face the condition with the firm resolve to work your way through it . . . . or you can try to avoid the condition and see what happens.

Once you have the courage to face your challenges head on . . . .we take control of the condition.

Determine what is under our control and if it under you control seek out the best solution to the condition. Take action and do your best to resolve or adjust the condition.

With the things that are out of your control, you have to find a way to work around the conditions or eliminate them.

With both you’re seeking to create a positive resolution to the conditions

Challenging situations are a fact of life . . . .When you face your challenges head on you remain in control of the challenge and the solution.

A Problem Solver is in Demand

A Problem Solver is in Demand
Solving problems is the foundation of survival.”
Michael McMillian, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A problem solver is in demand

Many people see the problem . . . . but very few can see the solution.

Problem solving is the unique skill of seeing through the haze of the problem . . . . and the issues.  It’s being a forward thinker and seeing and identifying the solutions.

Problem solvers will find a way to get through the problem with the least amount of pain possible. They look for and will find a creative way to navigate through the conditions . . . . and come up with an acceptable solution.

When you focus on solutions you begin the process of solving the problem and you make the maximum use of your time and resources for productive purposes.  Focusing on solution is a proactive activity focusing on the problem is a reactive activity and a resource waster.

A problem solver is in demand . . . . as a result of being a forward thinker and for making the best of the situation that they find themselves in. When you find yourself facing a problem focus your thinking and energy on the solutions is makes the best use of your time.

Your Inner Strength Makes All the Difference

Your Inner Strength Makes All the Difference
Trials, temptations disappointments - -all those are helps
instead of hindrances, if one uses than rightly. They not
only test the fiber of a character, but strengthen it.
Every conquered temptation represents a new fund of
moral energy. Every trial endured and weathered
in the right spirit makes a soul nobler
and stronger than it was before.”
James Buckham, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Sitting on the Fence is Procrastination

Motivational Power Quote

Sitting on the Fence is Procrastination
It doesn’t matter which side of the fence your on you
get off on sometimes. What matters most is getting off.
You cannot make progress without making decisions.”
Jim Rohn 1930 - 2009, Self-Help Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Sitting on the fence is procrastination

When you’re sitting on the fence . . . . you just sit there without making any progress. You’re not moving forward . . . . and all you can do is watch the world passing you by.

Sitting on the fence is actively practicing the art of procrastination . . . . and putting off making decisions to some unspecified time in the future.

The person that’s sitting on the fence is on the fence by their choice. They have ended up sitting on the fence as result of not making the decision to take action . . . . and to move their life forward. The person is just sitting on the fence going no where.

Unless the person sitting on the fence makes the decision to get off the fence and get on with their life the best bet is . . . . that they will eventually just fall off of the fence into obscurity.

When we are facing a challenging decision nothing productive gets done until we get off the fence. Make the best possible decision that we can make under the conditions. Put your decision in motive and move forward and move on.

Sitting on the fence is procrastination . . . .

You Create Your Circumstances

Motivational Power Quote

You Create Your Circumstances
Man is not the creature of circumstances;
circumstances are the creatures of men.”
Benjamin Disraeli 1804 - 1881, British Prime Minister,
Parliamentarian, Statesman

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You create your circumstances

The circumstances that you find yourself in today have been created . . . . as a bi-product of your thinking and your past actions. You become the person in your thoughts and your actions are a direct reflection of your thinking.

You are not always able to predict a circumstance or control what caused the circumstance to occur. But no matter what circumstance that you find yourself in . . . . you can control how you respond to that condition.

The mindset that you bring into your daily life creates the circumstances that you will experience in that day . . . . and in the results that you achieve.

You can look at your circumstances and walk away from them . . . . we can ignore them . . . . or we can positive actions to resolve them. When You’re Under Pressure the Real You Comes Out

Motivational Power Quote

When You’re Under Pressure the Real You Comes Out
When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out –
because, that’s what’s inside. When you are squeezed,
what comes out is what inside you.”
Dr. Wayne Dyer, Self – Development Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you’re under pressure the real you comes out

Under pressure some people will go on to break records . . . . and go onto achieve greatness . . . .  while other people will break under the stress of pressure.

Pressure creates a great deal of stress in person’s life. Each person reacts differently to the pressure and how the person responds to the pressure . . . . will determine what course of action that person will take.

The person that can control the stress that the pressure creates will be able to respond to the pressure proactively . . . . and stay in control of their emotions and respond with a purpose.

When the person becomes overwhelmed by the pressure they will act out of anxiety and will become reactive to the pressure . . . .and will lose control of their emotions and the situation.

When you take control of the condition . . . . you will remain in control of your emotions and you will control the pressure effectively. When you’re under pressure the real you comes out . . . . bring out your best and you will be in control . . . . of the your emotions and the conditions.

The Bend In The Road

Motivational Power Quote

The Bend In The Road
A bend in the road is not the end of the road . . . .
unless you fail to make the turn.”
Unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The bend in the road . . . .

Our life’s journey is not an expressway nor is it a straight road. There are many twists, turns and bends in the road to navigate. To keep your life moving in the right direction you will have to . . . . adjust to the condition that we encounter along the way.

Over a life time you will come to many bends in the road, what you do in those moments will shape your future. As you approach those bends in the road you may not always see what’s around the bend and you will have to . . . . rely on your faith to do the right thing in moving forward.

At other times the bend is slight and you can see what’s around the bend very quickly.

When you approach a bend in the road, approach it with the self-confidence. Believe that you can navigate it successfully and meet the challenges with the convection that you’re in control of your future.

When you get to the bend in the road . . . . make the turn with the belief that you’re in control of the condition and the outcome.

All Blame is a Waste of Time

Motivational Power Quote

All Blame is a Waste of Time
“All blame is a waste of time.
No matter how much fault you find with another,
and regardless of how you blame him
it will not change you.”
Dr. Wayne Dyer, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

All blame is a waste of time

Blaming is a negative activity that can make a bad situation become worst. Blaming someone for your circumstances is a complete waste of time, energy and will never resolve the conditions.

A person that continually blames others for their circumstances will find that other people will look at that person as the source of the problem. The only people that will take the side of the person doing the blaming are negative people that will help to create a downward spiral for them self and the people around them.

Stuff happens; successful people are solution oriented and they invest their time and energy solutions and positive activities to resolve the circumstances that they find themselves in.

All blame is a waste of time and will drain our emotions, our effort, our time and our future.

Push Through Discouragement

Motivational Power Quote

Push Through Discouragement
“A man can get discouraged many times,
but he is not a failure until he begins to
blame somebody else and stop trying.”
John Burroughs, writer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Push through discouragement

There is no success without experiencing discouragements on your success journey, consider your discouragements as the tolls you paid to reach your destination.

Discouragements and obstacles are temporary conditions on our success journey and they are part of life. The key is how we cope with a discouragement when we encounter them.

Don’t blame others for your discouragements take personal responsibility to work through the discouragements and as you do you take control of the conditions and of your life.

The only time discouragement becomes fatal is when you start to blame others for your situation and you stop trying and quit.

Take control and push through your discouragements.

Two Primary Choices

Motivational Power Quote

Two Primary Choices
“There are two primary choices in life;
to accept conditions as they exist,
or to accept the responsibility
for changing them.”
Denis Waitley, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Two primary choices . . . .

The choices we make today shape our future and the direction of our life.

There are the choices that create a future of possibilities or limitations?

Your choices today will either open the doors of opportunity or you’ll find the doors locked and without a key to open them.

You have two choices to accept the conditions that you find ourselves in, or take the responsibility to change our conditions.

There are two primary choice and the choices are yours to make. The choices you make today matters in shaping your future and the level of success you achieve.
