Your Self Confidence

Your Self Confidence
“Self confidence is the first requisite to great undertakings.”
Aldous Huxley, English Writer

As I see it . . . . . . .
Your self-confidence

True self-confidence is developed through concentrating on your successes . . . . and putting your failures . . . . setbacks . . . . and negatives in your life behind you.

Focusing on the negatives will waste your time . . . .  drain your energy . . . . and provide little or no positive results. Concentrating on your achievements and successes will energize you to see the possibility for your future . . . . And with your future successes you’ll take your self-confidence to a higher level.

Your self-confidence will put a spring into your step and increase your confidence to take on new projects, assignments . . . . and to stretch yourself forward.

Our-self confidence will put the air under your wings . . . .and will lift you to greater heights of success.

Develop your self-confidence . . . . and whole world of possibilities will open up for you.

The Positive Thinker Sees the Invisible

The Positive Thinker Sees the Invisible
“The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the
intangible, and achieves the impossible.”
Author unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .
The positive thinker sees the invisible

A positive thinker can look into the fog of the future . . . . and find the ray of sunshine . . . . and a beam of hope to create a brighter and prosperous future.

Positive thinkers . . . . are positive people they have their fair share of bad days . . . .  failure and setbacks they are not immune to life’s ups and downs. From that aspect they’re like everyone else. But there is a big difference in them . . . . and that difference is their attitude . . . . And in how they handle their problems and how they use their problems solving skills.

A positive thinker is focused on solutions to a challenging condition and results. They will invest their coming up with solutions and not dwelling on the problem. They are also action orientated and they will come up with the best way to overcome the condition and then push forward.

The positive thinker takes control of their problems . . . . and conditions in their life and by taking control they have control of the outcome.

No matter if it’s solving problems . . . . or looking for opportunities positive thinker sees the invisible. They will find a way to solve a problem . . . . and will continually stretch them self to find the opportunity. They will look over the horizon for solutions and opportunity. They not to proud to ask for help when it’s needed or to pick up the opportunity that’s resting at their feet.

Know When it’s Time to Adjust

Know When it’s Time to Adjust
“Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence.
Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear.
Perhaps the action or you take will be successful;
perhaps difference action or adjustments will have to follow.
But any action is better than no action at all.”
Dr. Norman Vincent Peale 1898 - 1993, Minster and Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .
Know when it’s time to adjust

Your success journey is not an expressway . . . . it a road where you encounter obstacles . . . . setbacks . . . . and failure.

Two Choices

Two Choices
“There are many ways of going forward,
but only one way of standing still.”
 Franklin D. Roosevelt 1882 - 1945, 32nd
President of the United States

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Two choices

There are two choices that will have a dramatic impact on your career . . . . and the level of success that you achieve.

One choice is to continually move forward in the direction of your goals . . . . and the other choice is to stand still and let the world pass you by.

In moving forward there will be setbacks and obstacles that you will face . . . . and have to overcome to reach your objectives. Setbacks and obstacles are temporary and may slow you down . . . . you will have to stay focused on your goals and work your way through them.

You may encounter detours along the way that will cause you to make adjustments and take a new path. Take the path the moves you in the direction of your goals.

Your success journey is not an expressway to success it’s a toll road . . . . and you have to pay has you go.  At times the price may seem high but as you get to your destination . . . . and look back at your success journey. You can say the price was a small price to pay for achieving your goals.

There are two choices . . . . make the choice to move forward in the direction of success and your goals.

Your Faith is Strength

Your Faith is Strength
“The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the
beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.”
George E. Mueller, Associate Administrator of the
NASA Manned Space Flight

As I see it . . . . . . .

Your faith is strength

Faith will give you the confidence to create bold goals . . .  and to pursue them with determination to achieve them.

Your faith will be the self-assurance to try . . . . and to pick yourself up after a setback to push forward and to try again.

With faith you have a deep rooted conviction in what you’re doing. You will go about your day with a positive expectation for your actions and support your expectations with the hard work that’s required to create successful results.

Here’s the key . . . . Your faith is your strength.

Faith doesn’t mean that you won’t have stress in your life . . . . or that you won’t have setbacks . . . . because everyone does.

With faith in your life you have confidence in your actions . . . . and positive expectations for your life. When you encounter obstacles and setback you will focus on solutions and overcoming them which will greatly reduce the stress and anxiety in your life.

Your faith is strength . . . . with the strength of faith in your life you are focused forward to create successful results and not looking over your shoulders to what’s in the past and what was.

Things Come With Their Challenges

Things Come With Their Challenges
“Since nothing we intend is ever faultless,
and nothing we attempt ever without error,
and nothing we achieve without some measure of
finitude and fallibility we call humanness,
we are saved by forgiveness.”
David Augsburger, Writer

As I see it . . . . . . . .

Things come with their challenges

Things are not always be perfect . . . . or the way that you would like them to be. Your life will take on many faces with each one of them representing a challenge and opportunity.

You will be faced with obstacles . . . . with some being larger then others.

You will also find opportunities . . . with some that are very obvious and others that you will have to dig for.

You will experience setbacks that can delay your forward progress on your success journey . . . . but they will never stop you from succeeding unless you decide to quit.

With each success you achieve . . . . it will give you an opportunity to stretch yourself to greater heights.

Your life will be shaped by the way you respond to the things that your life presents to you.

A major portion of your success will be based on your ability to effectively work through each situation that is presented to you, finding solutions and corrective measures.

Your thoughts and your attitude will determine the direction you choose in selecting the solutions.

Look at every obstacle as an opportunity and every opportunity as opening the door to a successful future.

Things come with their challenges and life may not be perfect . . . . life is what we make it.

Last Year is Last Year

Last Year is Last Year
“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
and next year’s words await another voice, and to
make an end is to make a beginning.”
T.S. Eliot 1888 – 1965, Poet, Author, Publisher,
Playwright, Literary and Social Critic

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Last year is last year

We’re about to enter into a new year . . . . and with the new year there is an opportunity for you to have a new start.

Take your successes of the past . . . . and use them as building blocks for the new year. Use your past successes as a foundation to build your future success.

Take your setbacks and failure from your past . . . . and use them as a learning experience and then remove them from your thoughts. Look that those experiences as mental garbage put that garbage in a trash bag . . . . and put that trash bag in the trash can be done with that past.

Your new year will be what you visualize to be . . . .  and what you make it.

Last year is last year . . . . and a new start awaits you to grasp it.

When You Get a Second Chance . . . . Take It

When You Get a Second Chance . . . . Take It
“We’re given second chances every day of our life,
we don’t usually take them, but they’re
there for the taking.”
Andrew M. Greeley 1928 – 2013, Irish-American Priest,
Sociologist Journalist, Novelist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you get a second chance . . . . Take it

Second chances are presented to you everyday of your life. But in the first blush what is the second chance will be disguised.

To see your second chances you have to have an open mind and an attitude of what can be possible . . . . and not one of what was.

Forward thinkers will see their second chances where others just walk by them.

Your second chances may be dressed working clothes and all you may see at the time is the hard work . . . . and the pain of your past setback. If you are looking behind yourself you’ll not see or recognize the second chance that is in front of you, because you’re looking in the wrong place.

You have look past your previous setbacks and look forward to what you can make of your future and you will see the second chance.

A second chance gives you the chance to pick up the prices in your life. You have the opportunity to start over again from where you are today and in starting over you change your future and create new results.

In order to take advantage of a second chance your mind has to be open to the possibilities and your eyes open to see them.

Look at your second chance as a new lease on life. Grasp the second chance and the opportunity it offers with all the passion in your heart and turn your second chance to the fuel to put you into the winner’s circle of life.

When you get a second chance . . . . Take it . . . . and make the most out of it.

Life is a combination of “Want to” and “How to”
and we need to give equal attention to both.”
Jim Rohn 1930 - 2009, American Entrepreneur, Author,

Dare to Be a Doer

Motivational Power Quote

Dare to Be a Doer
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare;
it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.”
Seneca 4 BC to AD 65, Roman Stoic Philosopher,
Statesman, Dramatist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Dare to be a doer

The doer has the mindset of getting things done . . . . and in producing their desired results.

The person that sits and complaints . . . . is the producer of negative thinking and very little success.

Dare to be a doer . . . . . . . .

The doer will take calculated risks . . . . to achieve greater success.

Doers will experience setbacks and failures on their success journey as a result of stretching themselves . . . . to achieve greater success. They will learn from their setbacks and failures . . . . and they’ll use their experiences to do things better and more effective the next time. They see their setbacks and failures as temporary conditions . . . . and they push forward to go pass them.

The doers in life are a special group on people who . . . . are not content to stand on the sidelines and watch their life go by. They want to get into the game of life . . . . and be an active participant in the game and the outcome.

The doer wants to take control of their lives . . . . and have goals for what they want to achieve . . . . and have a plan of action to ensure that they are successful.

Dare to be a doer . . . . and set the course for a successful life.

You Will Only Go This Way . . . . One Time

Motivational Power Quote

You Will Only Go This Way . . . . One Time
Every man dies, but not every man lives.”
Garth Brooks, Entertainer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You will only go this way . . . . one time

This is not a dress rehearsal . . . . this is the real thing.

You can choose to grasp the opportunities that you have . . . .  create new possibilities . . . . and extend your reach . . . . Or You can wait to see what happens.

Life is a series of experiences. You will encounter both setbacks and achievements. There will be times that you will have to take calculated risks . . . . at times that you miss opportunity by not taking action. You will reach the highest of highs . . . . and the lowest of lows. But with each experience comes the life lessons . . . . that can become the stepping stone for living a full prosperous life.

When you have a setback you can shake it off . . . . and push forward in the direction of your goals . . . . and objectives. Or you can sit where you are and nurse your wounds.

Life is not perfect . . . . and you will make mistakes along the way. There will be a time that you may feel that life is not treating you fairly . . . . but in reality is life is not always fair.

Life is what you make it . . . .

You will have bumps and bruises to show for your efforts of pushing forward . . . . but they are a very small price to pay for progress. The bumps and bruises . . . . are the tolls we paid on our success journey. Paying those tolls take you to a higher level of achievement . . . . and moves you closer to your goals.

To live a full and prosperous life is not sitting under a shade tree in the heat of summer or sitting next to a fireplace on a cold winter’s night.

Living a full and prosperous life comes in trying to be the best that you can be. It comes in extending yourself out of your comfort zone . . . . and picking yourself up . . . . and trying again after a setback.

You only go this way . . . . one time. Make the journey a master piece one that worth living . . . . and one that your willing to put you signature on.

Your Life is a Mirror Image of Your Attitude

Motivational Power Quote

Your Life is a Mirror Image of Your Attitude
Our attitude towards life determines life attitude towards us.”
Earl Nightingale 1921 - 1989, Dean of Professional Development, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your life is a mirror image of your attitude

Everyone has an attitude . . . . how a person decides to use it is a personal choice.

One person will use their attitude as the fuel that to lift their wings to soar with the eagles and to reach great heights. Another person's attitude will become an extinguisher that puts out the spark of their enthusiasm and moves the person into a life of un-fulfillment and discontent. The difference between the two people is their attitude. One person chooses to use their attitude to build a positive life while the other person’s attitude negatively affected their life and results.

A person attitude is the results of . . . . personal choices.

How you approach your life is a mirror image of our attitude.

When you approach your life with a positive can do attitude things seem to turn out that way . . . . and mirror your attitude.

If we see thing hopeless without solutions you’ll find that’s . . . . about the way things turn out.

The person that sees their life and being a life of endless possibilities will find that if they focus their energy . . . . and work hard to achieve the possibilities they do.

A person with a positive attitude has obstacles, setbacks and failure in their life just like everyone else. The big difference between the person with a positive attitude and the one with a negative attitude . . . . is how they handle the conditions that encounter in their life.

The person with the positive attitude looks at the conditions . . . . and finds the best way to successfully resolve the conditions and continues to move forward. The person with a negitive attitude will look at the same condition . . . . and feel overwhelmed and becomes dead in the water and their forward progress stops.

The person with a positive attitude separates themselves from other people with the strength of their attitude . . . . and becomes a leader in their field.

The way you approach your life will become a direct reflection on how your life turns out.

When you look into the mirror of your life . . . . what you’ll see is the reflection of the person that has been created by your attitude.

Obstacles are Tolls You Pay on Your Success Journey

Motivational Power Quote

Obstacles are Tolls You Pay on Your Success Journey
Look upon every obstacle as part payment towards success.”
Peter Drucker, Management Expert

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Obstacles are tolls you pay on your success journey

You will encounter many experiences on your success journey some that will move closer to your goals and some that will take in the wrong direction . . . . and further away from your goals. A successful person will look at their experiences as stepping stone into a brighter . . . . and more successful future.

Every experience can be turned in to a learning experience to broaden your prospective . . . . and open your minds to greater opportunities.

Your positive experiences will give you the insight into what methods and strategies have worked the best for you and have contributed to your success. Those experiences will also give you a great starting point to move forward to the next level of your success journey.

There will also be times when you will . . . . face challenges, setbacks and obstacles as you are moving in the direction of our goals.

How you respond to the obstacles that you encounter in your life will have a major impact on the direction that . . . . your success journey takes and with what accuracy you will have in hitting the target and your goals.

Obstacles are those things that can take our eye off your goals and sidetrack our success journey. Look at your obstacles as learning experiences. You will learn what not to do in the future . . . . what you have to learn to do better. And what you will have to adjust to achieve your goals and the desired outcome. You will also learn what people support you and your success journey and what people to avoid.

An obstacle can be looked at as brick wall with no way to scale it or to go around it. Or you can look at an obstacle as a temporary condition and to find the best way to get through it . . . . around it . . . .or over the obstacle.

When you look at obstacle as a learning experience you come to understand that obstacles are tolls that we pay along the way of your success journey to get to the next level of success.

Once you recognize that obstacles are tolls you pay on your success journey you will look at them in an entirely difference light. I believe that with each toll that you paid on your success journey that you learned to become more effective and grow as a person the pursuit of your goals.

Motivational Power Quote

Your Lessons of The Past Make You Who You Are Today
Results! Why, Man, I have gotten a lot of results.
I know several thousand things that won’t work.”
Thomas Alva Edison1847 – 1931, Inventor, Businessman

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your lessons of the past make you who you are today

Prior to inventing the incandescent light bulb Thomas A. Edison discovered the lessons of 10,000 ways that . . . . the light bulb would not work. There could have been 9,999 reasons for him to quit . . . . but Thomas Edison endured. He used his experiences as lessons to learn from what did not work . . . . until he had the break through and invented the incandescent light blub.

Thomas A. Edison learned valuable lessons . . . . on the way to success.

He learned that when things are not going the way he wanted them to, he . . . . . maintained the mindset to keep on going forward using the experiences of the lessons that he had learned.  He also learned a great lesson in turning his setbacks into stepping stones to success . . . . and that failure was only a temporary condition unless you quit.

He had the perseverance to continue to believe in him self . . . . and to work through his obstacles.

It is safe to say Thomas Edison would say . . . . your lessons of the past make you who you are today.

Winners See Themselves as Winners

Motivational Power Quote

Winners See Themselves as Winners
If you can accept losing, you can’t win.”
Vince Lombardi 1913 -1970, professional football coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Winners see themselves as winners

In the game of life there will be times that you encounter obstacles, setbacks and failure. There will also be times that you have given your best . . . . and you still come up short of your goals.

Failure is a stop on the success journey and most people will make that stop at one time or another. Winners understand that failure does not define the person . . . . it’s an isolated event on our success journey. You can look at a failure as paying a toll on the success journey.

Winners overcome obstacles, setbacks and failure.  They maintain a positive self-image, dust themselves off and try again. Winners may get knocked down . . . . but they won’t stay down.

What you see in yourself . . . . is what you get! See yourself as a winner.

Winners see themselves as winner . . . . and program that winning attitude into their subconscious mind.

No matter what conditions winners encounter they will not quit on themselves. They maintain a winner’s attitude and they see themselves as a winner.

Winners see themselves as a winners . . . . act like a winner and take the actions to make you self a winner. Be a winner . . . .

You have to Stay in the Game

Motivational Power Quote

You have to Stay in the Game
Winner lose more than losers. They win and lose more
then lose because they stay in the game.”
Terry Paulson, speaker, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You have to stay in the game

When you goal is to win . . . . you have to stay in the game to achieve your goals and objectives.

When you see a person standing in the winner’s circle of life  . . . . You see the result of what the person has accomplished. What you don’t really see is what it took for that person to achieve that level of success.

You don’t see their commitment and dedication to their career to become the best at what they do. You may not see or relate to the persons struggles, their setbacks, failures and them losing, what you see is their success.

When a winner gets knocked down they get up and bush themselves off and thy again. A winner realizes that they will stumble, face failure and at times suffer defeats and lose. In order for them to succeed they know you have to stay in the game.

No matter how devastating their setbacks may be  . . . . They won’t quit they stay in the game and push forward.

They may lose but they have the convictions and believe that they will have another day to win.

Winners believe in themselves and understand that in order to win . . . . There are risks in trying and that they may lose. But they also realize that without trying there is no success or forward progress in their life.

Winners will take the calculated risk in order to win and they will . . . . stay in the game.

Take the Actions That Will Move You Forward

Motivational Power Quote

Take the Actions That Will Move You Forward
“My dreams are worthless, my plans are dust, my goals
are impossible. All are of no value unless they
are followed by action. I will act now.”
 Excerpts from scroll IX

As I see it . . . . .

Take the actions that will move you forward

The secret of success is that success is not a secret. Success is not a mystery nor is it an isolated event . . . . Success is the result of persistent effort in the direction of your goals and overcoming the obstacles and setbacks that you encounter.

When you make the commitment to yourself to succeed and you take the actions to achieve success you will find that success becomes a reality. Be willing to stretch yourself out of your comfort zone and to reach for the brass ring.

Success will be there for those who are willing to step up and take the calculated risks to overcome the obstacles that stand in there way of achieving their goals and in pursuing their dreams. The key is to take the actions that will move you forward . . . . And to take the actions now.
