Who You Associate With
It’s better to hang out with people better than you.
Pick out associates whose behavior is better
than your and you’ll drift
in that direction.”

Over time you will mirror the behavior of the people that you associate with. Choose to associate with the people that have values that you want to have . . . . and you would most like to be similar to.

You will learn from the people that you associate with . . . . Associate and learn from the best people that you can find to help you to move in the right direction.

Associate with people who are more successful and smarter than you. Those associations will help you grow and achieve your goals. They will also open the doors to become more successful then the person that you’re associating with.

Your associations will move in the direction of most like the people who you associate with . . . . associate with the best people that you can find. Over time you become the people that you associate with.

Your Emotions are a Powerful Motivator

Motivational Power Quote

Your Emotions are a Powerful Motivator
“Our emotions are powerful motivators, and more than
almost anything else in our lives they will drive our
behavior. Sometimes our greatest challenge is to get inside
our own heads to understand what makes us tick. Why do
we feel and behave the way we do.”
Mac Anderson, founder of the Simple Truth & Successories

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your emotions are a powerful motivator

Once you understand what makes you act the way you do . . . . you start to understand the powerful forces that are in your emotions.

The person that can control their emotions can control the course of their destiny.

Your Future Starts Today

Motivational Power Quote

Your Future Starts Today
The past does not define you, the present does.”
Jillian Michaels, fitness guru

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your future starts today

Trying to live in the past keeps you locked into your yesterdays and limits your tomorrows.

There are things that are from your past that should be packed for your life’s journey. They are our good memories, by those who are close to you and the positive experiences. The things that you pack for your lives journey are those that bring pleasure to you and will warm your hearts on a cold day and your values to guild your journey.

As important as it is to pack your bags for your lives journey you have to be careful not to over pack.

There are things that are best to be left behind you as you go forward on your life’s journey. Take the bad memories of your past and put them into a box and pack them away and put them into storage. When you put your bad memories into a box and store them you will lighten your load and renew your energy.

As you start to move forward you will find that a small group of people will resent your progress. They fear that you will move forward to bigger opportunities and as you do they feel that they will be left behind. That fear will be manifested in their behavior, they will everything possible to ensure that they you stay exactly where your at today.

That person wants to transfer their insecurities to you and try to make you feel guilty about your ambitions to your life’s journey of fulfilling your goals and dreams.  Unfortunately that person will be able to make the journey with you.

Your future starts today . . . . and your tomorrow can be anything that you believe it can be. In order to take your lives journey of a better tomorrow you will have to leave the baggage of the past behind you and move forward into your future with less baggage.

Be a Positive Role Model for Your Children

Motivational Power Quotes

Be a Positive Role Model for Your Children
“I think that the my biggest role models
are the people that have maybe
struggled for a while and then finally
gotten to their destination.”
Jonathan Brandis, American Actor

As I See it . . . . . . .

Be a positive role model for your children

Your children will use you as their role model. They will become a reflection of . . . . your actions and will repeat them throughout their lives.

Children become a reflection of their parents . . . .

Parents are not perfect. You are who we are . . . . your children using you as their role model and mirror your behavior. If you want your children to improve, be the role model that you want your children to reflect.

Act as you would want your children to act . . . . speak the way you want your children to speak to others and treat people that way you want you children to treat other people.

Let your children act as you act . . . . help them to be the person that you are. Set the example for your children and . . . . be their role model for the way you want your children to grow up and become.

It’s important to set a positive example for your children . . . . So their actions would make you proud even when you’re not there.

Children mirror the parents in the smallest details. Set the example so that they become the best person that can become.

Children are a refection of their parents . . . . Be positive role model for your children. When you have done a good job being your children’s role model, we can’t help but become a better person ourselves.

Life is a Pattern of Behavior

Motivational Power Quote

Life is a Pattern of Behavior
“Seldom can one pattern of behavior
be eliminated without replacing it with another.”
Napoleon Hill 1883 - 1970, Author and Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Life is a pattern of behavior

We comb our hair the same way every day without thought.

We put our shoes on the same way; the same foot first without thinking about it.

Everyday we put our shirt or jacket on exactly the same way.

Everything we do in our life is a pattern. Our patterns fall within our comfort zone and are acted out in our subconscious mind out without a conscious thought.

There are behaviors that are contributing to a productive life and some behaviors that need to remove from our lives.

The best way to change a pattern is to replace it with a new pattern of behavior. To change a behavior we have to want to change the behavior and be determined to make the change.

It takes thirty days to change a behavior. There will have to be a commitment to change and the efforts to permanently effect the change to a behavior.

Identify the pattern of behavior that you want to change, now identify a pattern that you will replace it with.

Make the commitment to make the pattern change is the start your pattern of behavior change. Work on the change everyday until it becomes comfortable and give it time to take root.

Life is a pattern of behavior and we have the power to change out behavior or reinforce a behavior.

Integrity is Doing the Right Thing

Motivational Power Quote

Integrity is Doing the Right Thing
“Do the right thing . . . . especially when no one’s watching.”
Cherie Carter Scott Ph.D., author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Integrity is doing the right thing

Doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do is the foundation of a person’s integrity.

When faced with the choice between doing the right thing and the politically correct thing you have been asked to compromise your values and integrity.

Doing the political correct thing will compromise a persons position for someone’s personal gain. That gain can be very short lived as the people around them will see them as a person without integrity and someone that will put person gain ahead of doing the right thing.

People will see us as strong or weak, truthful or dishonest, reliability or unreliable. How a person sees us is based on the message that we send them; a message of integrity or a message of compromised values.

Success in life and business will be achieved by value driven behavior; the behavior of integrity.

Integrity is doing the right thing. The person that takes that position is a person of integrity and of values.

Habits Create Our Future

Motivational Power Quote

Habits Create Our Future
“If you develop the habits of success,
you will make success a habit.”
Michael E. Angier, Owner Success Network International

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Habits create our future

The habits we develop form the foundation for our future success.

Habits are those things that we routinely do. They become so ingrained within us that we continue to do them without thinking about what we’re doing.

The habits that we form and repeat will shape our life.

Forming success habits is making a choice to succeed.

A habit may start as patterns of behavior in little things that we repeat do until we turn into a best practice. Success habits become building blocks and as we stack them we create forward momentum.

In time our success habits become ingrained in our thinking, become routinely repeated and become the foundation for our success.

Business Ethics is Not Optional

Motivational Power Quote

Business Ethics is Not Optional
“It horrifies me that ethics
is only an optional extra
at Harvard Business School .”
Sir John Harvey

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Business ethics is not optional.

People will judge us and our business based on our ethical behavior.

Lasting business relationships and business referrals will be based on our previous business relationships and the quality of our ethics.

Our future success will be built on the foundation of our past business and relationships. Ethics is the core value to build your future business and success.

Business ethics is not option on our success journey.

Integrity is a 100 Percent Thing

Motivational Power Quote

Integrity is a 100 Percent Thing
“Integrity is not a 90 percent thing,
not a 95 percent thing - -
either you have it
or you don’t.”
Peter Scotese, chairman New York Fashion
Institute of Technology.

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Integrity is a 100 percent thing.

A person with integrity is described as being honest. Can a person have integrity if they are not honest 100% of the time?

Integrity is also described as the impressions that a person makes. Can a person maintain the impression of integrity where they are not consistent in there actions, behavior and reliability?

Be a person of consistent values and have the courage to do what’s right.

Integrity will take us from good to great in the eyes of the people we do business with and in our personal relationships.

Integrity shows and we will be judged by our integrity; we either have it or we don’t.

Integrity is a personal choice and is activated in our behavior.

Behavior is a Window into the Person

Motivational Power Quote

Behavior is a Window into the Person

“You can’t talk your way out of
what you’ve behaved yourself into.”
Stephen R. Covey, author and speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Behavior is a window into the person.

Behavior is a choice, and your choices can be based on a number of things including integrity, moral values, character and habits.

People will judge us by what we do. They will judge us on our behavior far more than by what we say. Our behavior forms the way people will see us.

Based on the way people see us they will make a choice, if they trust us or if they will do business with us.

Poor or bad behavior sets up a negitive environment that we can’t talk our way out of. We own the results of our behavior.

We are on stage and will be judged by our behavior. Put your best foot forward and conduct yourself in a way you want others to see you.

Have your behavior lead the way on your success journey.
