Motivational Power Quote
The Price of Experience Can be a Variable
Cost
“Experience
is simply the name we give our mistakes.”
Oscar Wilde 1854 - 1900, Irish Author, Poet, Playwright
As I see it. . . . . . . .
The price of experience
There is a price that you pay for your
experience. That price is the mistakes that you make along the way to
accumulate the know-how . . . . so that you don’t repeat the mistakes in the
future.
The most costly price that you pay for your
experience . . . . is by not learning the lessons from the past and doubling
drown and making the same mistake again.
Use each mistake as a positive building
block . . . . for your future success.
Understand what has taken place in the situation. Know what you did
right . . . . and what you would do
again.
Isolate what went wrong and why.
Determine what you could have done to change the outcome. What you would do in
the future to create a successful outcome to the same situation.
Every experience that we have is . . . .
a learning experience no matter if it’s a successful experience or an
experience where everything has gone wrong.
In both cases learn the lessons and move
forward with your newly found knowledge.
The price of experience can be a
variable cost. When you learn from your mistakes and make a commitment not to
repeat them you lower the price for your experience and accelerate your success
journey.
