The Doer Thinks and Acts

Motivational Power Quote

The Doer Thinks and Acts
Failures are divided into two classes - - those who thought
and never did, and those who did and never thought.”
John Charles Salak, internet marketing consultant

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The doer thinks and acts

The great thinker who thinks and doesn’t act . . . will soon be forgotten in the sands of time.

The doer who acts . . . . and doesn’t think may be remembered but for all the wrong reasons.

Taking action without thinking . . . . is a recipe for failure and disaster. Nothing good comes from shooting from the hip because we don’t know what to aim at . . . . and there’s no real target to aim for.

The person that thinks and acts will not only become successful . . . . but they will be known as an innovator and a leader in their profession.

A person who thinks and acts . . . . will move forward in their career and in the directions of their goals. Their actions will have a defined purpose and . . . . they will use their time and resources effectively for maximum results.

Doers think and act; think before you act and act with a purpose and your actions will be returned to you with dividend.

Harness the Ower of Your Time

Motivational Power Quote

Harness the Power of Your Time
To some degree, you control your life by
controlling your time.”
Conrad Hilton 1889 - 1979, Hotel Executive

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Harness the power of your time

When you control the water in the steam . . . . you control the flow of the water.

To control of your time take control your activities . . . . .and you will become more effective with the use of your time.

Time is like the water in a stream. If you pick up the water with your hands the water will seeps through your fingers . . . . and back into the stream without any real lasting benefits to you.

If you take the same water and create a dam and harness its power . . . . When you take control of the water of your time for you use today . . . . you will take control of your time and its future use.

The use of your time is the same as water. Time slips trough your fingers each day . . . . and much of it without returning any real benefit to you.

It not until you harness the use of your time . . . . does it become a powerful resource and return measurable results to you.

You will take control of your when you will control your daily activities. As you control your daily activities you will maximize the use of your time. As you do you will move into . . . . your future productively and with a sense of purpose.

Time is like water in a steam . . . .  harness the power of your time and you will create a powerful resource that will contribute to your success.

Neutralize Aggressive Negotiations

Motivational Power Quote

Neutralize Aggressive Negotiations
Am I not destroying my enemies
when I make friends of them.”
Abraham Lincoln1809 - 1865, 16th U. S. President

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Neutralize aggressive negotiations

You negotiate everyday of your life in your personal relationships, in business and in almost every aspect of our life.

Hostile . . . . intimidating . . . . or aggressive negotiations is a negotiating strategy. It can be called negotiating by bullying.

The person that’s doing the bullying is aggressive in the relationship . . . . and is trying to intimidate the other person into becoming submissive. If they can achieve that position in the negotiations they will . . . . control the other person and the negotiating process and the likely outcome.

You see that type of behavior in negotiations all the time. You also see that strategies being used by attorneys in questioning witnesses and in attempting to intimidate the witnesses.

The hostile negotiator relays on aggressiveness and intimidation to control the negotiating process.

They attack the person . . . . and not address the issues.

You defuse the aggressive negotiator by remaining calm and not falling into their traps . . . . and not being baited into confrontation. Don’t allow the hostile negotiator to intimidate or pressure you.

When the hostile negotiator is making statements and asking question or asking you for an answer, ask them to restate or repeat the question. Ask them for additional information or ask them explain what they asking you. Tell them that you don’t understanding what they are asking you.

This will throw the aggressive negotiator of their game and many times they will lose their tempers and lose control of their emotions.

They will also make statements or ask question with mixed messages . . . . and by doing this they are trying to compromise you or you answer. Be very careful in responding to this type of statement or questions as asked. Simple state that what you’re being asked are several questions . . . . that are unrelated with several answers. Ask them to restate or ask the question one at a time so you can answer or to respond to them one at a time to give them the information that they are requesting.

A hostile negotiator in normally . . . . a type A personally type and will push for fast answers to remain in control or to have you error in your response.  By asking questions they want to throw you off and confuse you. The type A personally game plan is intimidation.

Before you answer the question of an aggressive negotiator pulse and silently look the person in the eye and count to 5 slowly.  By pulsing you will throw the aggressive negotiator off their game plan and they will become frustrated and lose their composure. Also by pulsing you have a little extra time to formulate your response.

You will witness the following; aggressive negotiator will start to answer their own questions. You will see them to start to speak faster without thinking; they will just be reacting to their frustration. They will increase their aggressiveness and as a result lose complete control of the negotiating process.

They will become confused in their strategies and some will just blow up and look really bad.

To neutralize aggressive negotiations . . . . remain calm and in control of your emotions. It’s remaining focused on achieving a satisfactory conclusion to the negotiations and not taking things personally. Keep your composure and don’t allow the negotiations to become personal. Keep the negotiations focused on the issues and work towards a successful win – win agreement.

Remove the Bottleneck

Motivational Power Quote

Remove the Bottleneck
Deal first with whatever is causing you the greatest
emotional distress. Often this will break the logjam
in your work and free you up mentally to complete
(the) other task.”
Brian Tracy, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Remove the bottleneck

We all have at one time or another experienced them . . . .  they are the little things that keep us from moving forward, they are the bottlenecks.

The bottleneck can be a physical barrier that’s preventing you from taking a step forward. A physical barrier is ease to identify . . . . because we can see it.

To resolve the bottleneck you will have to find a way . . . . to remove the barrier or to find a way to go over or around the barrier to regain our forward momentum.

The bottleneck in your thinking is not as noticeable as a physical barrier. It’s hidden in deeply in your thoughts and . . . . you quietly follow those thoughts to create a bottleneck in your thinking and in your actions.

To remove the bottleneck in your thinking you have to . . . . change your attitude in the way you see things and how you react to what you see.

Also you have to change your thinking to become solution orientated. Find the best way to overcome the obstacles that you encounter on your success journey and you will remove the bottleneck.

It’s Your Life and Your Dreams

Motivational Power Quote

It’s Your Life and Your Dreams
If you don’t design your our life plan, chances are
you’ll fall into someone else’s plan.”
Jim Rohn, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

It’s your life and your dreams

Designing a life plan comes down to two choices. You can design a plan for your life . . . . and take control of the plan and your future. Or you can give that choice away to someone else . . . . and live your life through the plan they have for you.

The choices may sound simple but in far too many cases we allow the people around us to control our lives and our choices. If you allow that to happen you lose not only control on how you live of life but . . . . you lose control of your spirit of who you where meant to be.

You have to decide how you want to live your life and you have to design a plan to meet the expectations and to live that life to its fullest.

This is not . . . . a dress rehearsal this is the real thing.

It’s your life and you have to make the choice on who you want to be and how you will live your life . . . . and then take the actions to achieve that life.

Design a life plan . . . . it’s your life and your dreams. Make it the one you where meant to live and live that life to it’s fullest capacity.

Do What’s Right When No One Is Watching

Motivational Power Quote

Do What’s Right When No One Is Watching
Real Integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that
nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not.”
Oprah Winfrey, talk show host

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Do what’s right when no one is watching

There will be times that you can make a choice to do the right thing or to compromise your position. The decision should always be the same no matter if the world is watching you or you’re in a position where no one will know what you’re done.

What is being tested in that moment in time is your integrity . . . .

You can make the choice to the right thing and maintain your integrity. Or you can choose to compromise and take the course of least resistant’s and think that not one will know what you did.

Someone always knows what you have done and that person is you. When you have compromised your integrity you’re not be honest with yourselves.

It’s important to retain your integrity for the world to see, but it becomes critical to set the standard of personal integrity for you to follow.

Do what’s right when no one is watching is being honest with yourself, and in the time the people that count most in your life will see you as a person of integrity.

When Your Facing a Problem Deal With it

Motivational Power Quote

When Your Facing a Problem Deal With it
Happiness is not the absence of problems
but the ability to deal with them.”
Cardinal Leon Joseph Suenens 1904 -1996, Archbishop
of Malines-Brussels

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When your facing a problem deal with it

A problem that is not effectively dealt with . . . . festers in your mind and as it ages it worsens . . . .until the problem becomes overwhelming.

A problem dealt with . . . . is half solved . . . .

The person thinking that if they ignore a problem it will either . . .  get better or go away is inviting a disaster to occur.

Unresolved problems become . . . . an anchor around our neck that will pull you down under it’s weight.

A problem dealt with is . . . . half solved . . . . A problem left unaddressed grows out of control.

The moment that you acknowledge that you have a problem . . . . you have taken the first step to solving the problem. At that moment you will feel a weight been lifted off of our shoulders and a sense of relief in your actions.

Success is not the absence of problems . . . . success is found in acknowledging that a problem exists and in finding a satisfactory solution.

Focus your thinking on looking for solutions and in successfully resolving the problem and you will find yourself increasing to productively and solving the problem

When your facing a problem deal with it . . . . and your on a path to find the answers and solving the problem.

A problem dealt with is half solved in the moment we acknowledge the problem and take the steps to resolve it.
