Innovators will occasionally make mistakes to find an edge. When they make a mistake they admit it . . . . correct the condition. . . . . and quickly move on.

Learn to become a better person and learn from your mistakes . . . . and be willing to step to the edge and be an innovator and trendsetter.

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The doer thinks and acts

The great thinker who thinks and doesn’t act . . . will soon be forgotten in the sands of time.

The doer who acts . . . . and doesn’t think may be remembered but for all the wrong reasons.

Taking action without thinking . . . . is a recipe for failure and disaster. Nothing good comes from shooting from the hip because we don’t know what to aim at . . . . and there’s no real target to aim for.

The person that thinks and acts will not only become successful . . . . but they will be known as an innovator and a leader in their profession.  

A person who thinks and acts . . . . will move forward in their career and in the directions of their goals. Their actions will have a defined purpose and . . . . they will use their time and resources effectively for maximum results.

Doers think and act; think before you act and act with a purpose and your actions will be returned to you with dividend.

There are times that others don’t see your vision as you do and will call you a crank.

While attending Yale University, Fred Smith, founder of FedEX, wrote a term paper on the business model for what would become FedEX, his professor at Yale give him a C for his work.

The professor explained to Smith that his idea was illogical, and no one would invest their money in such a radical business concept or risk their career’s to work for such a company.

Fred Smith followed his vision and surrounded himself with committed people and launched FedEX in April 1973.

Today Fred Smith is seen as an innovator.

Don’t let other people’s opinions stand between you and your vision.
