Don’t Lecture or Criticize Let Your Advice Be Soft

Motivational Power Quote

Don’t Lecture or Criticize Let Your Advice Be Soft
Advice is like the snow; the softer it fall, the longer it dwells upon
and the deeper it sinks into the mind.”
Samuel Taylor Coleridge 1772 - 1834, English Poet,
Literary Critic and Philosopher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don’t lecture or criticize your advice be soft

People don’t like to be lectured to or to be criticized. When you’re giving advice keep this in mind and appeal to their softer side . . . . and your advice will have greater impact.  Let your advice be soft.

People will resist hash advice . . . . and very likely tune the person out that offering the advice. If you want your words to have meaning . . . . let your advice be soft.

When you’re giving advice let what your saying  be of importance. Also what becomes critical in giving advice . . . . is how you say it what you have to say.

People will listen to advice when they feel it’s sincere . . . . and they feel that the person offering the advice has their best interest at heart. People will accept being help . . . . but they won’t accept being pushed.

When you’re offering advice know the person that you’re offering the advice to . . . . and the purpose of the advice.

Offer your advice as a way for the person to get to what they’re trying to accomplish not for personal satisfaction.

Don’t lecture or criticize let your advice be soft . . . . and let the other person be comfortable in accepting it.

An On Purpose Life

Motivational Power Quote

An On-Purpose Life
Ordinary people think merely of spending time.
Great people think of use it.”
Source unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

An on purpose-life

The day in your life is yours to do with it . . . . as you please.

You can take your 24 hours . . . . and put it to productive use.  When you do it becomes a day of purpose . . . . creating value in your day and in your time. Or you can choose spend your day as you please . . . . in ways that may or may not return any value to you or your time.

There is always freedom in what you choose . . . . to do with your time. But there is a price that you pay on how you decide to use your time. Time used with a purpose is well used . . . . and is returns to you with interest. Time poorly used is gone forever . . . . and returns no lasting value to you.

When you recognize that your time is a precious resource . . . . and you use it with a purpose. It becomes a vehicle that can be used . . . . to create success and prosperity in your life.

Use your time with a purpose and you will harness the power of your time . . . . and you will take control of your days and your life.

An on purpose life . . . . is to be on purpose with the use of your time to shape your future . . . . and as you use your time you will live your life.
