Do The Things You Have to do

Do The Things You Have to do
“Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the
ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do,
when it ought to be done, whether you like it or
not; it is the first lesson that ought to be
learned; and however early a man’s
training begin, it is probably
the last lesson that be
learns thoroughly.”
Thomas H. Huxley (1825-1895) English Biologist

As I see it . . . . . . . .
Do the things you have to do

Education will give you the tools and the ability to do the things you have to do successfully.

A valuable lesson of education . . . . is that it has positive impact on your career . . . . and positive effect on your long term success.

One of the many benefits of education it has prepared you to do the things you have to do with the tools to succeed. Your knowledge will focus your efforts on doing what has to be done in order to succeed in a productive manner . . . . when they have to be done.

Education creates a strategic business advantage when that knowledge is properly applied.

Knowing what has to be done . . . . and having the knowledge to do them has a significance impact on your success and your outcome.

Education opens the open the doors to do the things that we have to do with confidence. As a result you will take on the challenging tasks knowing that you’re able to do them . . . . and to do them with excellence.

Don’t Limit Thinking or Your Choices

Don’t Limit Thinking or Your Choices
“If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or
reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you
truly want, and all that is left is a compromise.”
Robert Fritz, Management Consultant, Composer,
Filmmaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don’t limit your thinking or your choices

The best choice is not always the safest . . . . or the most reasonable choice.

The choice doesn’t have to be fast . . . . but it needs to be right choice.

Look at all of your options . . . . Make the best choice you can under the conditions that you find yourself in, without compromising your values or sacrificing your goals.

The choices you make will impact your future and future success. By making your choices wisely you will create a positive impact on your future and your career.

Don’t limit your thinking or your choices to what obvious . . . .  easy . . . . or fast make the tough choices . . . . Make the right choices . . . . and your choices will pave the way on your success journey.

Pass Your Knowledge on

Pass Your Knowledge on
“Seldom ever was any knowledge given to keep,
but to impart; the grace of this rich jewel is
lost in concealment.”
Wendell Phillips, American Abolitionist, Orator,
Lawyer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Pass your knowledge on

Knowledge is meant to be shared.

The wisdom of the ages is meant to be passed on to each ensuing generation. Not to be locked up or horded by a precious few.

And the same can be said for the knowledge that you have. For what you know can be passed on to others to live another life time . . . . and can have a positive impact on people’s lives.

Be generous with your knowledge . . . . and pass it on. The person that receives it will be appreciative of the gift and you will become a better person for sharing your knowledge.

Keep your knowledge in the sunlight and you will see that knowledge spread and multiple . . . . when the opportunity is there pass it on to others.

Knowledge is meant to be shared, pass your knowledge on.

Reach For the Greater Things to Come

Reach For the Greater Things to Come
For most of the champions their great accomplishment
was not the end of their greatness; rather it was
the beginning of greater things to come.”
Dan Green, voice actor

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Reach for the greater things to come

As you travel the pathway of your success journey it will become marked with your accomplishment. Some of the accomplishment will become ground breaking moments and others pass unnoticed by most of the people around. But both will have a positive impact on your career.

Your accomplishments will either become a rest stop on your journey. That creates a comfort zone that traps you into a false sense of security that you have reached your level of success and have arrived.

Or you will look at the same accomplishments and you will see those accomplishments as a spring broad to propel you into the future to greater heights of success and greater accomplishments.

You will never know your capacity until you push yourself beyond your current limits.

Greater accomplishments can be achieved when you have the courage to step outside of your comfort zone and extend yourself and your reach into the possible zone for greater accomplishments.

When you reach for the greater things to come . . . . you  made the choice to stretch yourself and your limits to find them.

The Face of a Business is People

Motivational Power Quote

The Face of a Business is People
The mechanics of industry is easy. The real engine is
the people: their motivation and direction.”
Ken Gilbert, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The face of a business is people

The difference between a good business and a great business . . . . is people. They become the heart . . . . and the face of the business.

A team of motivated people will boost the morale of the entire business and become the leading edge of the businesses customer satisfaction program. The team’s motivation will rub off on the people that they come in contact with and create a positive impact with their customers and within the business community.

A team of motivated people will pull people together . . . . to work collectively as a team to achieve the businesses goals.

The people set the tone for a business, customer expectations and become the spirit of the business.

The face of a business is the people . . . . and their motivation pulls everything together for the company and its people to reach a higher level of success.

Knowing When To Say No

Motivational Power Quote

Knowing When To Say No
Success depends on getting good at saying no without
feeling guilty. You cannot get ahead with your own goals if
your always saying yes to someone else’s projects.
You can only get ahead with your desired lifestyle if you
are focused on the things that will produce that lifestyle.”
Jack Canfield, Author and Success Coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Knowing when to say no

There are many demands on your time and you are continuously being pulled in many directions.  Some of the things that you’re being asked to do will help you in your career while other things are just the right thing to do. While other things that you’re asked to do will become distracters on your success journey and will not contribute to your success.

You have to know what to say yes to and when you have to say no.

When you’re asked to accept a task you have to ask yourself the following questions. Is it the best use of my time to undertake the task now? What is the positive impact on my life, my career and will it bring me closer to my goals? If the answer to the questions is yes then taking action will have positive an impact on achieving our goals?

If the answer is yes it becomes a proactive activity that will assist you to continue to move closer to success, fulfilling your goals and dreams then you should strongly consider to doing the activity.

If the answer to the question is a no because  you can see yourself being distracted and you can see yourself being moved further away from your goals as a result of the activity then answer to the activity is no.

Knowing when to say no is by itself an activity. It becomes an activity of controlling your life’s direction through your decisions and maximizing your activities to have a positive impact on your life and career and in achieving your goals.

Don’t Wait - Seize the Opportunities

Motivational Quote

Don’t Wait - Seize the Opportunities
“Don’t wait for extraordinary opportunities.
Seize common occasions and make them great.”
Orison Sweet Marden, American Writer, Lawyer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don’t wait – seize the opportunities

Many times our biggest opportunities often seem insignificant that the time. They can easily be overlooked and not recognized for their true potential and slip away.

Opportunities are what you make of them . . . . And only become an opportunity when you have an open mind to recognize them for their true potential.

It’s not until you begin to seize the moments and the opportunities do they become extraordinary and have a positive impact on your business and your personal success.

An opportunity without action on your part will soon fade way and be gone forever.

Don’t wait – size the opportunities and you will grasp the moments in your life and make of your opportunities.

A Good Idea

Motivational Power Quote

A Good Idea
“Getting an idea should be like sitting on a pin.
It should make you jump up
and do something.”
E. L. Simpson

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A good idea

We have ideas everyday most are quick thoughts and unless they are acted on, fade just as quickly as they appeared.

When you have a new idea, take the time to put that idea into writing. Develop the idea; look at the value of implementing the idea.

Turn your new idea into a good idea.

With ideas that have the potential to have a positive impact in our lives, take action on the idea.

Keep the flames of your ideas alive and a new idea will become a good idea that becomes the catalyst for a life changing breakthrough.
