It’s Never a Defeat Until You Give Up

Motivational Power Quote

It’s Never a Defeat Until You Give Up
“As long as a person doesn’t admit he defeated,
he is not defeated – he’s just a little behind,
and isn’t through fighting.”
Darrell Royal 1924 – 2012, Football Coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

It’s never a defeat until you give up

There will be times in your life that things will not be going the way you would like them to go . . . . and you are falling off the pace.

Falling off the pace and falling behind is not a defeat it just means that you are going to have to stay focused on your objectives . . . . make adjustments and work harder to get back on track to achieve your objectives.

There is a big difference between falling off the pace and falling behind  . . . . and a defeat.

Unless you lead every lap of a race, score the first run or the first points of a game at some point you are playing from behind and you have to catch up . . . . and pick up the pace to win. In many cases it’s the person that runs the faster last lap that wins the race or the team the plays the best in the last two minutes of the game that wins.

You are never defeated until we give up. The person or the team that hangs on and continues to play their best is the team or person that endures . . . . wins and succeeds.

It’s never defeat until you give up . . . . or you give into the conditions up is a choice. When things looking dark and your behind . . . . dig deep down into your inner resources and keep going and you will find a way to catch up and pull ahead.

When You're marketing is Not Working

Motivational Power Quote

When You’re Marketing is Not Working
“If your advertising goes unnoticed,
everything else is academic.”
William Bernbach, advertising executive

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you’re marketing is not working . . . .

The purpose of effective marketing is to build brand awareness for you . . . . and or your services to a targeted audience. The target audience is your target market of likely consumers . . . . that will buy your product, use you and or your services.

Marketing that not working has little or no value to you or your business . . . . and the money that you’re expending for that marketing is being wasted.

The most effective marketing is directed to a target market . . . . that is most likely to use your services or product. Identifying your target market is critical to having an effective and productive marketing program. Know who your likely customers are . . . . and what would be the best method to get your message to this group of people.

When your marketing is not working . . . . it’s missing the likely target market. The message and the delivery of the message have to be designed to effective reach . . . . and create interest within your target market.

Success is a Team Event

Motivational Power Quote

Success is a Team Event
“It is the responsibility of leadership to provide opportunity,
and the responsibility of the individuals to contribute.”
Anonymous

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Success is a team event

Success is not created in a vacuum; it takes . . . . a team of like minded people moving in the right direction to successfully pursuit success and to achieve it.

Everyone on the team plays a unique role on the team . . . . and contributes to the teams overall success.

Embrace the role you play on the team . . . . and extend you hand to the other team members when it’s needed.

Success is a team event and the team will only . . . . go as far as the team is willing to work together to achieve the teams goals.

Believe That There is no Such Thing as I Can't

Motivational Power Quote

Believe That There is No Such Thing as I Can’t
I can accept failure, but I can’t accept not trying.
Michael Jordon, NBA Hall of Fame Basketball Player

As I see it . . . . . . .

Believe that there is no such thing as I can’t

If we believe that you can . . . . we will find a way to do it . . . . if you believe you can’t . . . . you won’t.

What ever you believe becomes your dominant thought . . . . and in time, what you think and believe you will do.

I can or I can’t is a choice. I can is a choice of push forward overcoming obstacles to reach your goals. I can’t is a choice to quit on yourself . . . . and starts the slide backwards.

There is no such thing as I can’t. The person that says they can’t is a person that’s really saying . . . . that they won’t try.

Your beliefs determine the outcome before you start. The possibility thinker thinks in terms of I can and then takes the actions with the positive outlook of I will.

There is not such thing as I can’t only those with the mind set of I won’t.

Believe that there is no such thing as I can’t . . . . believe you can and you will find the way to do it.

Motivational Power Quote

Worrying is Exhausting
“It takes a real storm in the average person’s life to make
him realize, how much worrying he has done
over a squalls .”
Unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Worrying is exhausting

You can spend a lifetime worrying over thing that never was . . . . or never will be. You can also spend your energy worrying over that you can’t control.

Worrying is exhausting and a silent killer . . . . and will drain the person’s energy and weaken their resolve to push forward through their issues.

Most of the worrying in life is done over things that don’t matter . . . . and will never be or things that we absolutely have no control over.

When your faced with a challenging situation worrying won’t help you . . . . or the situation it will make things worst. Instead of worrying step back and take a mental snap shot of the circumstances and ask yourself the following.

How important is it for this issue to be resolved?

How does this issue effect you personally, how does the issue affect your life, your career or your success?

What will happen if you’re not able to resolve the issue?

What’s the likely outcome if you do resolve the issue?

What is under your control to change, adjust or to resolve?

What is out of your ability to control?

What’s your best course of action?

Take the action steps to resolve anything that you feel is important to you and you have under your control to do.

The best way to eliminate worrying is:

To look at the circumstances from a realistic mindset and know what your options are.

Create a plan and the action steps to resolve the situation to the best of you ability.

Select the best options and focus on the solutions not the circumstance.

Take the actions to correct the issue and move on.

Worrying is exhausting and is a silent killer . . . . when you give in to worrying. Take the positive actions to control the circumstances that you find yourself in . . . . or the circumstances that you find yourself in will control you.

The Treasures of Life

Motivational Power Quote

The Treasures of Life
“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.”
Joseph Campbell, Author and Lecturer

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The treasures of life

As you seek the treasures of life we may have to step out of your comfort zone. The things that you seek may be right in front of you . . . . but they’re out of your sight or in the shadows.

A person who fears to look into the shadows may find themselves missing what’s in front of them and the treasures in life that they seek. Think about the person who hesitates enters a darkness of a cave. But once they muster the courage to take the leap of faith and steps into the shadows of the cave and shine the light into the darkness . . . . finds themselves surrounded with crystals.

Crystals are beautiful to see as they grow in the darkness of a cave. The only people that will see them in their natural state are those . . . . who are willing to step into the darkness of the cave.

Success is a lot like stepping into the darkness of a cave. Success can be right in front of us but if looking for the success to jump out at you and radiate it beams at you may very well miss it. You have to seek success out and to step out of your comfort zone and into new areas of your life which can create the same fear as stepping into a dark cave.

Look into the darkness to find the light, if we want to find the crystals in our life we have to be willing to go where the crystals are.

The treasures of life . . . . are outside of your comfort zone.
