It’s Your Attitude and the Way You Look at Things

It’s Your Attitude and the Way You Look at Things
“Realize that there are not hopeless situations;
there are people who take hopeless attitudes.”
Dr. Norman Vincent 1898 - 1993, Minister, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

It’s your attitude and the way you look at things

As you travel the path way of your success journey you will encounter many difference situations. Some of the situations will seem to be overwhelming and hopeless to resolve.

There are no hopeless situations only situations with various degrees of difficulties.

The attitude that you bring into a situation will determine the way you look at the condition and what course you take in resolving the situation. Your attitude that you have at the beginning of a challenging situation will very likely determine the final outcome.

The attitude that you bring into any situation is a choice.

You can choose to bring a solution driven attitude into the circumstances and to seek out the best possible answers and solutions. With a solution driven attitude you are focused on a successful outcome and your time and efforts have a purpose.

There is also another choice of entering the same situation with an attitude of being overwhelmed.

With this attitude you become focused on the condition and not the solutions, your time becomes misdirected and or efforts wasted. This type of attitude has you looking in the rear view mirror and takes your eyes off the road in front of you. By focusing on the conditions you very seldom ever look forward for the solutions and as a result the conditions are not resolved and in many cases become worst.

Things become hopeless when you take your eyes off of finding successful solutions.

There are no hopeless situations only hopeless negative attitudes that take us off course.

It’s your attitude and the way you look at things . . . . that determines what you see . . . . and your course of action.

With this course of action you have created a valuable learning experience that can play the lesson forward boosting your future success.

Or you can be in dentinal of the mistake and hope it goes away.

Motivational Power Quote

Worrying is Exhausting
“It takes a real storm in the average person’s life to make
him realize, how much worrying he has done
over a squalls .”
Unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Worrying is exhausting

You can spend a lifetime worrying over thing that never was . . . . or never will be. You can also spend your energy worrying over that you can’t control.

Worrying is exhausting and a silent killer . . . . and will drain the person’s energy and weaken their resolve to push forward through their issues.

Most of the worrying in life is done over things that don’t matter . . . . and will never be or things that we absolutely have no control over.

When your faced with a challenging situation worrying won’t help you . . . . or the situation it will make things worst. Instead of worrying step back and take a mental snap shot of the circumstances and ask yourself the following.

How important is it for this issue to be resolved?

How does this issue effect you personally, how does the issue affect your life, your career or your success?

What will happen if you’re not able to resolve the issue?

What’s the likely outcome if you do resolve the issue?

What is under your control to change, adjust or to resolve?

What is out of your ability to control?

What’s your best course of action?

Take the action steps to resolve anything that you feel is important to you and you have under your control to do.

The best way to eliminate worrying is:

To look at the circumstances from a realistic mindset and know what your options are.

Create a plan and the action steps to resolve the situation to the best of you ability.

Select the best options and focus on the solutions not the circumstance.

Take the actions to correct the issue and move on.

Worrying is exhausting and is a silent killer . . . . when you give in to worrying. Take the positive actions to control the circumstances that you find yourself in . . . . or the circumstances that you find yourself in will control you.

Step back and Get A Running Start

Motivational Power Quote

Step back and Get A Running Start
“When we feel stuck, going nowhere - -
even starting to step backward - -
we may actually be backing up
to get a running start.”
Dan Millman, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Step back and get a running start

Did it ever feel like your life is going in reverse? When you do it’s time to put on the breaks  . . . . and turn it around and back on track.

If you have encountered a roadblock and there’s no forward momentum . . . . it’s time to get it into gear, get started and get going in the right direction.

When you hit a stand still in your life, it’s time to focus on generating forward momentum in our career . . . . and to propel us into the direction of our goals and success.

Jump start your forward momentum, recharge the batteries of your success journey.

Step back look at the path in front of you; determine your best course of action. Dig in . . . . and get a running start on your future.

Motivational Power Quote

Conflict Needs Two People
“Conflict cannot survive without your participation.”
Dr. Wayne Dryer, author, speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Conflict needs two people

Conflict needs willing participates to continue, without the participation the conflict fades away.

When you’re faced with conflict find the best solution to the issues; and work to find the best mutual resolution to the conflict and put the conflict behind you.

Be cautious of the person that tries to draw you into a conflict. They are intentionally trying to disrupt you and bring conflict into your life. They are controllers by nature and enjoy the conflict and trying to light someone up.

People take great joy in instigating conflict. Don’t be baited into a conflict or continuing a conflict and by all means don’t be intimidated.

Work your way through a conflict by focusing on solution and move on.

The only way that there will conflict is if you become a willing participate in it.

Conflict needs two people or more to start or continue.  The best course of action is don’t be one of them.

Know When to Step or Take a Leap

Motivational Power Quote

Know When to Step or Take a Leap

“You often hear, ‘be bold, take a leap!’
Sometimes you should.
Other times,
there’s a better idea.
Take a step.”
Harry Beckwith

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Know when to step or take a leap.

There are times that the best course of action is to be bold and commit to taking a leap of faith.

At other times the best course of action is to clearly see the path in front of us and to take the steps with certainly.

A leap is a calculated action; before we leap there is a need to understand the purpose of the leap, the direction the leap will take us, the risks and the rewards. Does the leap move us closer or further away from our objectives? Will the leap have a positive affect on us and our business?

Taking a step is planned activities were the steps have a purpose with a deliberate direction and planned outcome.

Both can move you forward on your success journey. The pace and the course may be difference; the journey is in the same direction with the same desired results.
