It’s Never a Defeat Until You Give Up

Motivational Power Quote

It’s Never a Defeat Until You Give Up
As long as a person doesn’t admit he defeated,
he is not defeated – he’s just a little behind,
and isn’t through fighting.”
Darrell Royal 1924 – 2012, Football Coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

It’s never a defeat until you give up

There will be times in your life that things will not be going the way you would like them to go . . . . and you are falling off the pace.

Falling off the pace and falling behind is not a defeat it just means that you are going to have to stay focused on your objectives . . . . make adjustments and work harder to get back on track to achieve your objectives.

There is a big difference between falling off the pace and falling behind  . . . . and a defeat.

Unless you lead every lap of a race, score the first run or the first points of a game at some point you are playing from behind and you have to catch up . . . . and pick up the pace to win. In many cases it’s the person that runs the faster last lap that wins the race or the team the plays the best in the last two minutes of the game that wins.

You are never defeated until we give up. The person or the team that hangs on and continues to play their best is the team or person that endures . . . . wins and succeeds.

It’s never defeat until you give up . . . . or you give into the conditions up is a choice. When things looking dark and your behind . . . . dig deep down into your inner resources and keep going and you will find a way to catch up and pull ahead.

When You Reach the End of Your Rope

Motivational Power Quote

When You Reach the End of Your Rope

“When you get to the end
of the rope,
tie a knot and hang on.”
Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd President of the United States

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you reach the end of your rope

Tie a knot and hang on for dear life.

At the end of the rope when it’s appears that all is lost; see it as an opportunity for a new beginning and to starting anew.

When you’re hanging on and look for solutions but don’t give up. Continue to look for answers until you find them; but don’t give up, hang on a little bit longer.

By hanging on we’ll start to see the ways through, over and around the situation.

Hanging on just a little bit longer, by itself can change the outcome.

Don’t let go, don’t give up, hang on.
