A Rule of a Successful Business Relationship

A Rule of a Successful Business Relationship
“Here is a simple but powerful rule . . . always give
people more than they expect to get.”
Nelson Boswell, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A rule of a successful business relationship

Customers are not all the same they are unique as individuals . . . . they have specific needs . . . . expectations and motivations.

As a professional you have to understand your customers . . . . to successfully service their needs.

Each customer coming into a business relationship with a set of predetermined expectations.  They set the bar for what would be an acceptable business relationship for them.

The customer determines what they expect from a business professional . . . . and what a successful business relationship will look like. The customer also sets the bar for what they expect in business service.

To successfully navigate a successful business process you have to exceed the customer’s expectations.

The first order of a successful business relationship is you have to know what the customer’s expectations are for the business relationship.

Once you know what your customer’s expectations are . . . . you have to move forward to exceed those expectations.

Failing to meet the customer’s expectation will lead to an unsuccessful business relationship resulting in no continued business relationship or referrals. Everyone loses in this type of relationship.

When you meet your customer’s expectation you become average in their eyes because . . . . they expect you to meet their expectations. There is a weak business relationship . . . . and future business and referrals become iffy at best.

It’s not until we exceed your customers expectations do you earn the right to potential business opportunities and referrals.

Went you exceed expectations you create a loyal customer . . . .  and in this relationship everyone comes out a winner.

A rule of a successful business relationship . . . . is to exceed the customer’s expectation and turn the experience into a WOW experience.

Focus on What’s Real Not What is Imaginary

Motivational Power Quote

Focus on What’s Real Not What is Imaginary
“Real difficulties can be overcome, it is only the imaginary
ones that are unconquerable.”
Theodore N. Vail 1845 - 1920, US Telephone Industrialist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Focus on what’s real not what imaginary

You face two difficulties in this world . . . . the ones that are real  . . . . and the one’s that you imaginary. The one that you focus on will make all the difference. What you focus on will determine on how you invest your time each day and the path you follow on your success journey.

An imaginary difficulty is a difficulty of your mind and in your thoughts in most cases it’s made - up and may never become a reality. But you waste endless hours worrying over something that may never be.

It will drain your energy, zap your creatively and lead you down the wrong path on your success journey.

When everything is said and done, you have wasted your resources on something that never was. You wasted your resources on an imaginary difficulty.

When you’re facing a real difficulty, determine what caused the difficulty to occur . . . . So that you can ensure that the same difficulty does not occur in the future and if it does you’re prepared to handle it quickly and effectively.

Find the best way to approach the difficulty and decide the best course of action to resolve it. Once you have resolved the difficulty put it behind you and move forward.

Decide what the learning experience was in overcoming the difficulty and file it into your book of wisdom to be used at a later time.

Focus on what’s real not the imaginary. Control and productively use your time and resources to resolve what’s real and what’s imaginary will fade away.

Behind a Successful Man There is a Good Woman

Motivational Power Quote

Behind a Successful Man There is a Good Woman
“No man succeeds without a good woman behind him.
Wife or mother, if its both, he is twice blessed indeed.”
Harold Macmillan, former British Prime Minister

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Behind a successful man there is a good woman

That woman may be his mother wife . . . . grandmother, partner or a support person in their career.

A good woman is there for them . . . . and seems to understand what a man needs at that very moment. They will be there to offer words of encouragement . . . . they will offer a compassionate ear give a gentle nudge or a push when it’s needed. They seem to have an innate ability . . . . to understand and encourage the man when it’s needed.

A man may rise to great heights and in their climb there has been . . . . a good woman there with them. That woman is also there when their man’s life has a reversal and everything is unraveling. A good woman is there for their man in . . . . the best of times and the worst of times.

Behind every successful man there is a good woman . . . . that’s there for them and their support will make all the difference in a man’s life.

A good woman is behind a successful man and that man is a smart man . . . . when he understands how that the woman as impacted his life in many positive ways.

A man should be thankful for a good woman and show her the application she deserves.

For behind a successful man there is a good woman . . . .
