Character Differentiates the Champion
“Ability may take you to the top,
but it takes character to keep you there.”
John Wooden 1910 - 2010, Basketball Coach
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Character differentiates the champion
Champions separate themselves in their
profession from the masses . . . .
A champion wants to standout above the
crowd and they will look for and find degrees of separation that will propel
them to the top of their field and keep them there.
A champion’s goal is not only to get to
the top of the mountain but once they get there is to stay there. They will
look for ways to create a cutting edge advantages that will keep them at the
top.
To have a successful and study climb to
the top mountain a champions has a vision . . . . goals . . . . a plan . . . . and
the endurance to successfully achieve their goals. To stay at the top of their
profession a champion has to have character.
When we look at politicians, entertainers
and professional athletes that reach the top of their profession . . . . and them
you see them fall from the top of their profession. Far too many times their
fall from grace is result of them compromising their character.
It takes hard work and dedication to
become a leader in our chosen profession and it take even harder work to stay
at the top.
Character differentiates champions . . .
. it takes character to succeed and to
get to the top of your professional . . . . and it takes character to keep you
at the top.
