Your Self - Worth
“Self-esteem is the reputation we acquire with
ourselves.”
Nathaniel Branden, Psychotherapist
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Your self – Worth
The image that we have of yourself will
make all the difference in the way you life your life . . . . and in what you
accomplish
The foundation of your self – worth is
reflected back to you everyday of your life in how you see yourself. Your self
– worth tells you who you are. It will tell you that you are a valuable person
with the talent that has an unlimited potential. Or it will tell you you’re entrapped
in a life that you don’t want to be in.
How you see yourself is in your
thinking. you either believe in your self –worth or you don’t. If you don’t
like how you see yourself you have to change your thinking. In changing your
thinking you change the way you see yourself . . . . and in turn you change your
life.
Having a strong sense of self – worth is
not in being rich . . . . having the right job . . . . driving the right car .
. . . or living in the right house.
Self – worth is the belief in yourself
and in your ability. It’s in trying to do the right thing for the right reason.
It making the most of what you have . . . . and having written goals for your
future to achieve more.
Be careful of those people in your life
they will either be there to booster the self – worth. Or there will be those who
would take comfort in belittling you . . . . and drain your self – worth.
Choose the boosters and remove those who drain your self – worth.
Your self –worth is a precious resource.
What you think about yourself is who you become . . . . and will determine the
life you lead . . . . and what you achieve. Change your thinking and you
elevate your self – worth.
