Put All Your Eggs in One Basket

Put All Your Eggs in One Basket
“The way to become rich is to Put all your eggs in
one basket and watch that basket.”
Andrew Carnegie 1835 - 1919, Scottish – American
Industrialist

As I see it . . . . . . . .

Put all your eggs in one basket . . . .

Become a specialist in a market niche . . . . put your energy and efforts into growing that niche into an unstoppable business force. To the point to where you are seen as an expert in your field.

People prefer to work with a specialist someone that they see as being an expert in their profession.

Experts are in demand . . . . and generalist become overlooked.

Customer’s main concerns are their own interests . . . . and want the best person and or company to help them fill full that need.

The way to become rich successful is to become a specialist filling a market niche.

Put all your eggs in one basket . . . . and your energy and efforts in growing your niche into an unstoppable business force.

Decide on Your Goals

Decide on Your Goals
“The most important key to achieving great success
is to decide upon your goal
and launch, get started, take action, move.”
John Wooden 1910 - 2010, Basketball Coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Decide on your goals

Decide on your goals . . . . and get out of the starting block . . . . to successful achieve them.

A goal not acted on has very little value . . . . or no value to the person with the goals.

Having a goal that’s not acted on is a lot like watching the race of your life passing you by, while you’re standing in the starting block. To bring value to your goals you have decide on your goals and get out of the staring block.  And take action on your goals to move you in the direction to achieve them.

In the simple act of acting on your goals will create enormous forward momentum to change the course of your life . . . . and achieve your goals.

There is an old saying that nothing happen until you make it happen. Your goals will only remain a hope in your heart until you act on them and push forward to make them become a reality.

Take control of your life . . . . your goals . . . . and act on them. Take control of your future . . . . and your destiny.

Decide on your goals . . . . and get out of the starting block to create the forward momentum in the direction of your goals.

A Combination of Consistent and Focused Effort

A Combination of Consistent and Focused Effort
“Patience, persistence and perspiration
make an unbeatable combination for success.”
Napoleon Hill 1883 - 1970, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

A combination of consistent and focused effort

Success is not an isolated event . . . .  Success is the result of a consistent and focused effort in the direction of achieving your objectives.

To achieve your objectives you have to know what you want to achieve. How you’re going to achieve them . . . . and the price that you’re willing to pay to achieve the desired results. Once your objectives become crystal clear in your thinking  . . . . reduce your objectives into writing and create your goals for your success journey.

Written goals create a measureable path to follow on your success journey. Your goals will give you clearly marked directional signs to keep you on track, along with your action plan will keep you on purpose.

Have patience in your success journey as success is not an overnight endeavor. Anything worthwhile has an element of time . . . . and effort to achieve the desired results.

Your success journey will require persistence . . . .

Your path to success takes on many dimensions. At times you’ll be traveling on expressway. At others time you’ll be bogged down on a muddy road where it seems that you’re not making any progress.

When we get bogged down you have to remain focused on your goals and remain persistence in achieving them.

Anything worth while is worth working for . . . .

At times you will have to work smarter to achieve the results and at other times you will have to roll up your sleeves and work harder. At times you’ll find that perspiration may be just what’s needed to put you over the top.

An unbeatable combination for success is . . . . success is not an event and there is no one single event or single effort that makes a person a success. It’s a combination of consistent and focused effort in the direction of our goals that creates success.

To Solve Big Problems You Have to Make Tough Decisions

To Solve Big Problems You Have to Make Tough Decisions
“To solve big problems you have to be willing
to do unpopular things.”
Lee Iacocca, Auto Executive

As I see it. . . . . . . .

To solve big problems you have to make tough decisions

Solving big problems takes focusing on the solutions and in moving forward . . . . and not becoming mired in the past. And inordinate amount of time is wasted in problem solving as a result of looking for someone to blame instead of taking the responsibility to solve the problem.

To solve a big problem remain focused the solutions and in making the tough decisions.

Many times the solution to a big problem comes as a result of creative thinking . . . . And in having stepping up to the plate and making the tough decisions.

A word of caution that in solving big problems many times you get trapped in group thinking and trying to come to a conscious. In that conscious the baby is throw out with the bath water. Many times conscious become a substitute for making a tough decision.

Conscious thinking pushes the real problem down the road because within the conscious thinking . . . . no one has made the tough decisions.

Solving big problems takes making tough decisions. Those decisions are made by tough people . . . . willing to take risks.

Once the problem is resolved use the experiences and lessons learned from the problem solving to move forward. Use the experiences that you have learned to become more effective in your future endeavors in making tough decisions.

To solve big problems you have to make tough decisions. They are made by tough people when the chips are down and the issues have to be addressed and resolved.

Being Of Service and Helping Others

Being Of Service and Helping Others
“Successful people are always looking for opportunities
to help others. Unsuccessful people are always
asking, what’s in it for me?”
Brian Tracy, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Being of service and helping others

You form the building blocks for your success by seeking out the opportunities to be of service and helping others.

Successful people continually seek out the opportunities to help others achieve what they want. By helping others achieve more of what they want you will eventually achieve more of what you want.

Your success will be in direct proportion of your being of service and helping others.

People want to be treated with respect and to be heard as a person. By treating people with respect and having their best interest in your heart. You will create successful business relationships and build a bond of rapport and trust. With that bond you increase the probability of successfully doing business with them and earning the right to referrals.

The business relationship becomes a win – win situation for everyone involved.

Unsuccessful people have a tendency to become self-absorbed with their personal needs . . . . and will put their needs above the needs of their customers. This relationship will become a, lose – lose situation with no long term potential.

Successful people understand that lasting success comes through being of service and helping others.

Winners Will Tell You Where They’re Going

Winners Will Tell You Where They’re Going
“Winners can tell you where they are going,
what they plan to do along the way,
and who will be sharing the adventure with them.”
 Denis Waitley, Inspirational speaker, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Winners will tell you where they’re going

Winners know where they’re going . . . . and how they will get there to achieve their objectives.

Winners have a crystal clear vision of where they’re going in their minds long before the success journey ever begins. They have planned their journey in advance and can tell you the steps that will be required to successfully complete their journey. As a result of their planning when the plan gets off track . . . . they adapt and make adjustments to their plan. Then they get back on track and continue to move in the direction of their goals.

Winners understand the resources that will be required to successfully complete their journey . . . . and the people that will share the journey with them.

The winners in life are willing to pay the price of the journey in advance to enjoy the benefits that are achieved as a result of reaching their desired outcome.

Winners will tell you where they are going . . . . and have planned for the trip.

Don’t Focus on What When Wrong

Don’t Focus on What When Wrong
“Don’t dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on
what to do next! Spend your energies on moving
forward finding the answer.”
Denis Waitley, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don’t focus on what when wrong

Focus on finding the answers . . . . and moving forward

When your success journey gets off course focus your efforts and energy to getting it back on the right track and as quickly as you can.

When something goes wrong don’t dwell on the condition, look for the best possible solutions . . . . and how to apply them.

When you look at your career . . . . and your success journey look to the future and in moving forward. Focus on finding the answers to get you there.

No matter what condition that you find yourself in . . . . focus on finding the answers that will propel you to successful solutions and your future success.

Don’t become trapped in yesterday . . . . and in old thinking. Look to move forward with a positive attitude. As you do, you will become a forward thinker and look for the answers to tomorrow’s questions.

Get on the leading edge of your profession and look for the next in your business . . . . and as do you will get to the answers before people even come up with the questions.

You have a choice to either to get in front of the curve in your profession or to have the curve roll over you.

Have the answers for what you’re doing today and stretch yourself forward into the next and get the answers for tomorrow.

Don’t focus on what when wrong . . . .Focus on finding the answers and you become focus on your future and your future success. Focus on moving forward.
