New Ways to do Old Things

Motivational Power Quote

New Ways to do Old Things
Always be on the lookout for new ways to do old things,
and keep your mind open to using alternative methods
and plans of action .”
Amy Jones, artist

As I see it. . . . . . . .

New ways to do old things

Finding new ways to do old things is passport to change your course . . . . and to travel a new path to achieve your goals.

All the rules have changed . . . . and unless you adjust to the times you will be swept aside.

Doing what you have always been doing has produced certain results. If you feel that continuing to do the same thing will product . . . . difference results is a fantasy. By doing the same old things continues to product the some old results.

Embrace change and see the change as an opportunity. Open your mind to try new things . . . .  and look for alternatives to the same old same old things in a new way.  Create a plan of action to implement new strategies and methods to achieve your goals . . . . and to create your desired outcome.

Look for new ways to do old things . . . . and everything changes . . . . you create a new pathway to success and you control and  change your results.

Setting Your Course Gives You Direction

Motivational Power Quote

Setting Your Course Gives You Direction
If one does not know which port one is sailing,
no wind is favorable.”
Seneca

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Setting your course gives you direction

It’s not the importance of the speed of your success journey . . . . as it is the direction your heading in. If you are going as fast as you can go but it’s taking you in the wrong direction you’re wasting . . . . your time, your resources and efforts as you move further away from your goals and success.

You can achieve anything in life that you want bad enough and you’re willing to work hard to achieve.

When you have a clear vision for what you want to accomplish. You will need a road map with you . . . . at the beginning of you success journey to ensure that you start right. Your road map will tell you . . . . if you’re headed in the right direction and that you’re staying on the right course to reach your objectives.

You will need a set of clear objectives . . . . with a written plan and goals along with the strategies to ensure that you’re moving in the right direction to achieve a successful outcome.

It’s important that you set your course before you start . . . . to maximize your efforts and to build and maintain forward momentum on your success journey. In knowing your direction in advance you’ll also will be making . . . . the best use of your time, your resources and your energy to the pursuit of your goals and success.

Setting your course gives you direction . . . . and you will know where you’re going and you’ll know the right path to take.

Adjust Your Action Steps to Achieve You Goals

Motivational Power Quote

Adjust Your Action Steps to Achieve You Goals
When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached,
don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.”
Confucius 551 BC – 475 BC, Chinese Teacher, Editor,
Politician, Philosopher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Adjust your action steps to achieve your goals

There are times on your success journey that it becomes clear that you’re not going to reach your goals . . . .  doing what your doing.

This is not a time . . . . to quit on yourself or on your goals.

It becomes a time that we have to adjust. Take a realistic look at your strategies and the actions steps that you have been taking to achieve your goals. Make sure both your strategies and your action steps . . . . are pointing you into the direction of your goals.

If you’re committed to your goals and you have the passion to achieve them . . . . don’t quit; focus on what you have to do to achieve your goals. Make the positive adjustments that are required to get you back on track . . . . and to regain the forward momentum to achieve your goals.

Success and achieving your goals is not sprint to a finish line. It’s far more like a marathon where the winner has to have the endurance to not only finish but has to adjust along the way to the conditions that they find themselves in.

Stays focused on the big picture and adjust your action steps to achieve your goals. Your adjustments will make a big difference on the direction of your success journey and your results.

Think Plan and Act

Motivational Power Quote

Think Plan and Act
“It is better to sleep on things
before hand than to
lie awake about them afterwards.”
Baltasar Gracian, Spanish Philosopher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Think plan and act.

Taking action without thinking our actions through before we start is recipe for disaster.

Thinking before we act gives us the ability to see the big picture, plan the correct strategies to reach our desired outcome. As a result of thinking and planning we create the peace of mind that we are taking the correct actions to create a successful outcome.

Thinking leads to planning and planning leads to the correct actions.

Think, plan and act is creating a recipe for success.

Open Your Mind to Learning

Motivational Power Quote

Open Your Mind to Learning

“We can’t learn anything new
until we can admit that we
don’t already know everything.”
Erwin G. Hall

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Open your mind to learning.

There are times that we don’t have all the answers or that we don’t know everything.

It takes a brave person to admit what they don’t know everything and to say to themselves that they will need to learn new skills and find new answers to reach their maximum success levels.

The key to maximizing your success is to learn new skills, strategies and techniques.

We learn best when we open our minds to new concepts and ideals by admitting that we don’t know everything and freely except the new information as helping us on our success journey.

As you open your mind to learning your mind becomes a magnet for new information. That information becomes a resource for you to reach new heights and achievement.
