Learn the Rules and Play to Win

Learn the Rules and Play to Win
“You have to learn the rules of the game.
And then you have to play better than anyone else.”
Albert Einstein 1879 - 1955, Noble Prize of Physics
Theoretical Physicist and Philosopher, Developed the
General Theory of Relativity

As I see it . . . . . . .
Learn the rules and play to win

Games have rules . . . . without a clear understanding of the rules it becomes almost impossible to play the game with any effectiveness and there is little likelihood of winning.

The rules become the guidelines . . . . on the way the game is played.

If your objective is to play the game competitively you have to learn the rules.

Once you learn the rules of the game . . . . and have a strong understand on the way the game is played you increase the odds of winning the game.

Learning the rules . . . . and mastering the game creates a competitive advantage. Learning the game . . . . and playing the game better than your opponents creates the winners edge.

Learn the rules . . . . and then to master the rules.

Throughout your life you are learning the rules. To be competitive in your profession you have to first learn the rules and to become competitive you have to master the rules. To succeed you have to learn to play by the rules better than your competition.

Learn the rules and play to win.

Make the Best Use of Your Time?

Make the Best Use of Your Time?
“Perhaps the very best question that you can memorize
and, repeat over and over is, what the most
valuable use of my time right now?”
Brian Tracy, Self-Help Author and Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Make the best use of your time . . . . and start doing it right now?

What can you do right now that will move you closer to your goals . . . . and objectives? What will you do today that will move you in that direction?

Focus on investing your time productive activities . . . . and avoid the time wasters . . . . busy work . . . . and the time distracted that take you further away from your goals.

Determine what the most important activities are today . . . .  and take positive steps in achieving them.

When you invest your time in the most important activities you increase your effectiveness . . . . and accelerate your success journey.

Make the best use of your time . . . . and start doing it right now . . . . is to use your time in the most effective manner to achieve your goals and objectives.

Sharpening Your Ax

Sharpening Your Ax
“If I had nine hours to chop down a tree,
I’d spend the first six sharpening my ax.”
Abraham Lincoln 1809 - 1865, 16th President of the United States

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Sharpening your ax

Attempting to chop down a tree with a dull ax is an exercise in fertility. There will be a lot of effort and sweat involved with very little progress to show for your effort.

In business you have to keep your ax sharpen to be productive . . . . to reach your full potential.

You will also have to invest time and effort in yourself and in your personal devolvement sharpening your tools to a fine edge. The sharper your tools become the more valuable they become to you to support you on your success journey.

Having shape business tools will increase your overall effectiveness, enabling you to have a better use and control of your time. Having sharp tools will also cut a clear path for achieving your goals on your success journey.

One thing about tools is they don’t stay sharp without shaping them and maintaining them. You have to keep your tools sharpen to a sharp edge or they will become dull.

To standout in your profession you have to commit yourselves to keeping your tools sharpen to a razors sharp edge.

Sharpening your ax and maintain your tools to a razors sharp edge will create a strategic business advantage.

You Will Grow From the Difficulties In Your Life

Motivational Power Quote

You Will Grow From the Difficulties In Your Life
“Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage.
The human sprit is to grow strong by conflict.”
William Ellery Channing American Writer,
Unitarian Preacher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You will grow from of the difficulties in your life

Over the course of your life you will face many challenging moments and difficulties. In those times how you respond will form the foundation for your future.

In your times of difficulties you have to learn how . . . . to respond to the challenge and not to overreact. When you respond to difficulties by looking for the best solution you remain in control of your thinking . . . . and your respond and actions become planned.

By thinking through the difficulties before we act . . . . you will find that you are not over reacting to the situation. You will find yourself developing a clearer picture of difficulty . . . . and what will have to be done to arrive at the best possible solution.

As you successfully navigate your challenges and difficulties you gain the experience and confidence that will pull you forward. That experience will give you the expertise to successfully handle the difficulties that come in to your life with greater effectiveness.

You will grow from of the difficulties in your life . . . . by becoming responsive to the conditions and seeking solutions . . . . and not by over reaction to them.

Worrying is a Distraction and Doesn’t Resolve Problems

Motivational Power Quote

Worrying is a Distraction and Doesn’t Resolve Problems
“Worrying is the same thing
as banging your head against the wall.
It only feels good when you stop.”
John Powers, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Worrying is a distraction and doesn’t resolve problems.

Worrying about problems clouds our thinking and will drain our energy without any positive resolution to the problem.

The more we worry the less effective we become in solving the problem and we increase the likelihood that the problem will affect other areas of our life.

Effectively solving problems is controlling what you’re able to control and letting go of what you can’t control. Take a proactive approach to the problem with a plan and a solution.

Stop banging your head against the wall. Once you let go of worrying you will increase you effectiveness and you will feel much better about yourself and the issue.

Improve Your Knowledge or Lose it

Motivational Power Quote

Improve Your Knowledge or Lose it
“Knowledge has to improved,
challenged and increased
constantly or it vanishes.”
Peter Drucker, management expert

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Improve your knowledge or lose it.

Your knowledge has to be continually improved; or the value of your knowledge will continue to decline until our existing knowledge has no value.

To stay ahead in your field, challenge your knowledge and what you need to know to be successful? Ask yourself what new knowledge will I need to improve my effectiveness and stay ahead of the pack?

Seek the knowledge required for success and commit to continually increase that knowledge.

By adding to our knowledge we add value to our business, and increase our personal worth to our customers.

Successful people are seen as experts in their field and the accumulation of knowledge is the foundation to being seen as an expert.

The accumulation of knowledge properly applied will move you into an elite status and being a person of influence.

There is No Success Without Learning

Motivational Power Quote

There is No Success Without Learning

“Learning is not compulsory. . .
neither is survival.”
Dr. W. Edwards Deming, consultant, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .
There is no Success without learning.

The future belongs to those who are the continued learner. They accumulate the knowledge to compete successfully in the new business environment.

Relevant knowledge properly applied becomes a powerful tool. The lack of knowledge becomes fatal.

The key to the future is learning the skills and accumulating the knowledge that gives us the ability to master our field of endeavor and then apply the skills and knowledge in an effective manor.

The price of being a non learner is astronomical and paid over a life time.

The price for learning is paid today for future success.
