Nothing Hurts in the Winner’s Circle

Motivational Power Quote

Nothing Hurts in the Winner’s Circle
“When you win nothing hurts.”
Joe Namath, Football Player

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Nothing hurts in the winner’s circle

Joe Namath one of the all-time great NFL quarterbacks knows a lot about hurting. He played a big part of his professional football career with bad knees . . . .  and in a lot of pain He went on and overcame the pain to become a very successful quarterback. Unfortunately his professional career was cut short by the severely of his knee injuries

He also knows what it feels like to be a winner. He quarterbacked the 1969 New York Jets to an upset victory . . . . over the heavily favored Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III in Miami Florida. Joe Namath was named the Most Value Player of Super Bowl III

Football like life . . . . can be a very physical demanding.

Football players pay a very heavy price physical with their bodies to succeed . . . . and their careers are cut short by injuries. For a professional athlete to succeed they have to learn to play through the pain and their injuries.

Fortunately as business professionals don’t have to play through the pain and injuries of a football player.

Professionals have to work their way through the emotional pain. Through the scars of their setbacks or they won’t be able to successfully get back into the game . . . . and successfully compete in a competitive market place.

A football player has to rehab their injury to get to get back onto the field and compete. A professional has to get over their emotional setback to get back on track to achieve their goals.

Everything becomes possible when you can work your way through the pain of your setbacks . . . .and nothing hurts in the winner’s circle when you succeed.

Listening is an Art

Motivational Power Quote

Listening is an Art
“Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening
when you’d rather have been taking.”
Aristotle  BC 384 – BC 322, Greek Philosopher

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Listening is an art

We talk to be heard . . . . and we listen to learn and what we learn becomes a valuable resource. The information that we learn becomes the thin slice of achieving greater success.

A professional listener will proactively listen about 80% of the time and . . . . . speak with a purpose and ask questions about 20% of the time. The listener gains knowledge, prospective and . . . . creates a competitive advantage through the gentle art of listening.

When you listen to another person . . . .  your showing respect for the person who is speaking. In a business environment the person that you’re listening to will give you all the information that is needed to help them successfully through the sales process.

With the gentle art of listening the professional listener gains the information and insight to remain in control of a conversation and to understand the other persons, their needs and their motivation.

Listening is an art and is a success tool . . . . that’s properly used creates a pathway to unlimited success.

Unlocking the Secret to Customer Satisfaction

Motivational Power Quote

Unlocking the Secret to Customer Satisfaction
“There’s no great mystery to satisfying your customers.
Build them a quality product and treat them with
respect. it’s that simple.”
Lee Iacocca, auto executive

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Unlocking the secret to customer satisfaction

A key to satisfying customers is to understand your customer, their motivation, their needs and their expectations. Creating customers satisfaction is not created in a vacuum, it’s a joint venture between the customer, your company and yourself.

Your product has to meet the customer’s needs and exceed the customer’s expectations in order to be of value to them.

A product that falls short in meeting a customer’s expectations either will result in no business being transacted, no referrals or no future business. Missed expectations creates a, lose – lose situation for all of the parties.

In most cases your product is your service. Your service has to exceed the customer’s expectation for you to remain competitive and to compete in a competitive business environment. Establish the customer’s expectations for your service and make every effort to exceed that expectation.

Be respectful of the customer’s and their needs and you will build rapport and confidence with the customer’s

Unlocking the secret to customer satisfaction is in understanding the customer and exceeding their expectations.
