Motivational Power Quote
Choose Who You Associate With Carefully
“Keep
away from people who try to belittle your
ambitions, small people always do that, but the
really great make you feel that you, too
can become great.”
Mark Twain 1835 - 1910, American Writer and Humorist
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Choose who your associate with carefully
You will meet many people in your
lifetime on your success journey . . . . those that will be there to help and
mentor you and those that will try to sabotage you and your career.
Choose who you associate with carefully
as those associations have the capacity to make the difference between a
successful career and one with marginal results.
People will judge you by the company
that you keep . . . . therefore you will be judged by who your associate with.
Build and maintain your relationships based on your values and with people of
similar values.
The most recent studies show that a
person . . . . will pick up the character traits of the people that a person most
often associates with. Form your associations with the people that you would
like to emulate . . . . and in time you
will mirror the person’s characteristics.
Stay away from or disassociate from the
people that try to belittle you or your efforts. They are trying their best to
see you fail . . . . They will take great joy if they can succeed in helping to
take you down the wrong path and see you fail.
You know who they are they’re the
negative Nellie’s and everything that they talk about . . . . or in their lives
is negative or someone else’s fault. When you see that person entering into
your life . . . . run for the hills they are a walking and talking nightmare.
Choose who you associate carefully. For
just one person can make the difference to impact you, your life and your
career. That person can put you over the top in achieving success or sink you
into the waste land of failure.
Choose who you associate with carefully .
. . . because your success will hinge on the choice you make.
