Motivational Power Quote
Create and Keep Your Customers
“The purpose of business is to create and keep
customers.”
Peter F. Drucker 1909 – 2005, American Management
Consultant,
Educator and Author
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Create and keep your customers
The question is what is the purpose of business?
Most people will say that the purpose of
business is profit.
I would say that profit is essential
part of a successful business . . . . but not the number one purpose. A
business that is focused solely on profit can very well miss what makes a
business profitable.
A business can’t successfully sustain them
self . . . . without a continued flow of customers.
The number one priority of any successful
business . . . . are their customers.
A business that can create a satisfied
customer base and maintains their base will grow in influence and their customers.
That business will have an excellent opportunity to create a successful and
profitable business.
The business that looks at their
customers as being vital part of their business . . . . and they treat their
customers as a precious resource finds success.
The business that focuses on the bottom
line and profit first sees the customer . . . . as a tool in the profit making
process. They will treat their customers as a commodity and put the company’s
needs ahead of those of the customers.
The purpose of business . . . . is to
create and keep your customers . . . . maintaining
. . . . and growing your satisfied customer base. What will
result are your satisfied customers . .
. . will become a big part of your long term of the business.
