Success and Inaction Both Come With a Price

Success and Inaction Both Come With a Price
“We must all suffer from one of two pains; the pain of
discipline or the pain of regret. The difference
is discipline weights ounces while
regret weights tons.”
Jim Rohn 1930 - 2009, American Entrepreneur,
Self-Author and Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .
Success and inaction both come with a price.

Inaction is making the decision to procrastinate . . . . the price of procrastination is paid over a life time.

Procrastination is making a choice . . . . the choice that is made is the choice of inaction which is to take the action is choosing not to act. The price of inaction is enormous and is carried forward in the form of pain in living a life of regret for the things that we did not do and in the lost opportunities.

Taking action to succeed . . . . takes self-confidence in your decision making and in your abilities. You also have to have the mental discipline to take calculated risks . . . . and to make choices.

In taking action some of your choice will create breakthrough opportunities in your life. While others may have very little impact on your success journey, and there will be those that you would like to forget.

Failing to take action subordinates the action to someone else to make the decision for you. You will lose the ability to make your own choices and to choose your actions.

When it’s time to take action . . . . you have to step up . . . . and take the best actions possible in the conditions that we find yourself in.

The pain of regret for your inaction is carried forward . . . . and can become emotionally draining.

The discipline of making choices and taking action has a price. But there is peace of mind that you’re in control of your choices . . . . your actions . . . . and your future.

Success and inaction both come with a price . . . . you pay for your success in advance. You paid for your inaction over a life time.

The Life You Lead is Your Choice

Motivational Power Quote

The Life You Lead is Your Choice
Life is a grindstone.
But whether it grinds us down or polishes us up
depends on us.”
L. Thomas Holdcraft, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The life you lead is your choice

When you encounter a fork in the road you reach a point of choice . . . . you can take the fork to the right or you can take the fork to the left. Both will move up forward but you have to make the choice . . . . of which path to follow and to step outside of your comfort zone. Both paths have an element of risk . . . . and both paths would contribute to our success.

But at the same time there is a third choice . . . . the path of no choice or one of procrastination. The third choice initially seem to the safest because there seems to be no element of risk and you feel comfortable in what you been doing.

Traveling on the first two path has both risk and uncertainly. But as you make the choice to take the paths . . . . you move in the direction of goals and grow as a person. As you travel on the paths your uncertainly will melt away and you minimize your risks as a result of your actions.

The person that decides to take the third option of not making a choice or to procrastinate, has made there choice, the choice of inaction.

That person will not go further then where they stand today and in all likelihood will begin to drift backwards and further away from achieving there goals

The life you lead is your choice . . . . and the path you decide to follow is of your choosing. Be willing to follow your dreams and take the calculated risks that will put into the winners circle of life.

Your Life Today is a Result of Your Past Choices

Motivational Power Quote

Your Life Today is a Result of Your Past Choices
“Everything that is happening at this moment
is a result of the choices you’re made in the past.”
Deepak Chopra, author, speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your life today is a result of your past choices

Life is a matter of choices and your choices create the direction for your life.

Your life is a lot like a ship leaving the safety of the harbor and heading out to open water. Your choices create the direction for your ship of life.

When you face extreme condition in your life quality choices will help you to navigate the conditions you’re facing and to keep your ship steady. Your choices help you to get back into the calm waters and to continue your journey.

Your choices have to remain consistent no matter what type of day we’re having as each choice becomes a building block for your future and your life.

You can’t say that you’re too busy to make a choice. If you delay a choice that has to be made, you have made a choice to procrastinate.

When you master your choices you master your life. Your life today is the result of your past choices and your tomorrows will be the result of your choices of today.

Don’t Procrastinate Do Something

Motivational Power Quote

Don’t Procrastinate Do Something
“So what do we do? Anything. Something. So long as
we just don’t sit there. If we screw it up, start over.
Try something else. If we wait until we’ve satisfied
all the uncertainties, it may be too late.”
 Lee Iacocca, former Chrysler CEO

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Don’t procrastinate do something

When something has to be done the best time to start is now. Life is full of uncertainties and you can find many reasons to procrastinate, delay or to put something off, but you only need one reason to start.

Don’t make excuses take action and get started.

If you fail . . . .start over with more experience; if you hit a brick wall, take a new path. Obstacles are temporary conditions and are mile makers on your success journey.

Start now, start with passion and start with determination to achieve successful results. When your start you take control of your conditions and your control of the course you will follow and your outcome.

Just don’t sit there make it happen. Don’t procrastinate do something about what has to be done.
