When You Reach a Fork In The Road

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you reach a fork in the road

One can take you on a well lighted road in the direction of your success and the other is a road leading . . . . to nowhere.

When you reach the fork in the road; you will have to make a choice to which road that you will take.

Unless you know where you’re going . . . . you won’t know what road will take you to your destination.

Where you have no direction in your life it becomes impossible to set your personal GPS, because you don’t know where you are going. You can’t use a map because you have no idea where you are or what your destination is.

Without a clear direction for your life you will wander without a purpose . . . . with no end in sight. You would truly become lost . . . . because you have no idea on what road to take.

When you know where you are going and when you reach a fork in the road . . . . you know with certainty which road to take and you will  make that choice with confidence.

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The life you lead is your choice

When you encounter a fork in the road you reach a point of choice . . . . you can take the fork to the right or you can take the fork to the left. Both will move up forward but you have to make the choice . . . . of which path to follow and to step outside of your comfort zone. Both paths have an element of risk . . . . and both paths would contribute to our success.

But at the same time there is a third choice . . . . the path of no choice or one of procrastination. The third choice initially seem to the safest because there seems to be no element of risk and you feel comfortable in what you been doing.

Traveling on the first two path has both risk and uncertainly. But as you make the choice to take the paths . . . . you move in the direction of goals and grow as a person. As you travel on the paths your uncertainly will melt away and you minimize your risks as a result of your actions.

The person that decides to take the third option of not making a choice or to procrastinate, has made there choice, the choice of inaction.

That person will not go further then where they stand today and in all likelihood will begin to drift backwards and further away from achieving there goals

The life you lead is your choice . . . . and the path you decide to follow is of your choosing. Be willing to follow your dreams and take the calculated risks that will put into the winners circle of life.

You choose the direction for your career

There are many directions that you can choose for your career . . . .

As you travel the path of your success journey you will meet with a number of forks in the road. As you reach the fork in the road you will face the decision to choose what fork you will take.

When you make the decision you are making a decision on what direction your life will take. The impact of your decision has the potential to change your life.

You can choose to make the decision to follow the path to success that will take a commitment and focused effort to reach your goals.

Or you can make the decision not to make a decision and let your past drive your future which would lead you down the wrong path which will have a negative impact on you and your career.

Choose to take control of your decision making and the direction that your career takes . . . . You choose the direction for your career and in that choice you take control of your future success.
