You Have to Open the Door of Opportunity Yourself

Motivational Power Quote

You Have to Open the Door of Opportunity Yourself

“Nowadays some people expect
the door opportunity to
be opened with a remote control.”
M. Charles W. Wheeler

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You have to open the door of opportunity yourself.

The door is there for us to see; but we may walk by it everyday and not notice it’s there.

The doors will not open by themselves or by remote control. It’s up to us to find the door and open it ourselves.

We have to be aware that the opportunities exist; but it up to us to find them.

It becomes our responsible to find the doors of opportunity and once we do. It becomes our responsible to open that door and walk though it ourselves.

The Difference Between a Mistake and Failure

Motivational Power Quote

The Difference Between a Mistake and Failure
“If you have made mistakes,
even serious ones,
there is always another chance for you.
What we call failure is not the falling down,
but the staying down.”
Mary Pickford, American actress

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The difference between a mistake and failure . . . .

It’s not a question if were going to make a mistake, the question is how soon and how many.

The only person that doesn’t make mistakes is the person that not trying.

Mistakes are stepping stones to trying again with the benefits of our experience to do things better.

Don’t except a mistake as failure see a mistake as an opportunity to become better as a result of the experience.

In reality mistakes are part of the normal life cycle and we have the opportunity of moving forward after a mistake with renewed commitment.

Failure is falling down after a mistake and deciding not to get up.

A mistake is a temporary condition if after a mistake you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on.

Break Your Bad Patterns

Motivational Power Quote

Break Your Bad Patterns
“When patterns are broken new worlds emerge.”
Tuli Kupferberg, author and poet

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Break your bad patterns.

Patterns are our habits and they have been formed over time until they become comfortable. Habits are not always productive, they’re comfortable and we default to those patterns because of the comfort and they are easy to do.

When we break old patterns a new world emerges as we venture away from our comfort zone. We discover a world that we never knew and we find we’re capable of doing things we never did before.

In the world of change we find unlimited opportunity and it all started when we broke old unproductive patterns and replaced them with a new pattern.

Wisdom . . . .The Journey

Motivational Power Quote

Wisdom . . . .The Journey
“We don’t receive wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves
after a journey that no one can take for us or spare us.”
Marcel Proust, 1871-1922

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Wisdom . . . .The journey.

Wisdom is an inherent understanding of the right things to do at the right time and for the right reasons. It seeing the big picture and having the insight not only to see the picture and the prospective pieces but in seeing how all the pieces come together.

Wisdom is not something that we receive, wisdom is the knowledge and insight that we discover in our life’s journey that only we can take.

We gain our wisdom as we travel life’s roads with and open mind and the willingness to take our experiences and learn and prosper from them.

The road to wisdom is a journey that we have to take ourselves; no one can take that journey for us. Our wisdom will be developed as a result of the learning experiences on that journey.
