Motivational Power Quote
You Succeed One Day at the Time
“The best
thing about the future is that it comes only one day
at the time.”
Abraham Lincoln 1809 - 1865, 16th President of the
United States
As I see it. . . . . . . .
You succeed one day at the time
Success is not achieved in one giant
leap or step . . . . but it’s in taking many successful incremental steps in
the right direction.
When you speak to successful people they
will readily tell you . . . . that there is no such thing as an overnight
success. They also shared that if you want to become successful . . . . you
would have to work hard at becoming successful. They will also tell you that
the overnight successes that we see have paid the price for their success and
what you see . . . . is the result of their hard work.
Successful people commit themselves to
pursue their vision with passion and focus on achieving their goals and a successful
outcome. They have made the commitment to invest their time . . . . and efforts
to purpose their vision and to turn vision into success one day at the time.
In the process of interviewing
successful people over the years, they revealed a very interesting fact. There
is a common element in this group of people that is overlooked and a secret
behind their success.
I would like to share that secret with
you . . . .
That each day is a stepping stone on
their success journey and the way they use their day will ultimately determines
the level of success they achieve.
They believe that today is the most
important day in their life. What they do with their day will compound into
either a positive boost for their success journey that creates forward momentum.
Or their day will become a negative discharge draining energy from their passions
and potentially bringing their success journey to a dead stop.
By compartmentalizing their days they
understand that success is like winning the game of life one day at the time.
They concentrate on becoming successful on day at a time. They also understand
that they will have a bad day along the way, but overtime their successful day
will far out number their bad days. As a result they will continue to build
forward momentum one day at the time.
You succeed on day at the time. Commit
yourself to have a successful day and over time your success days will compound
into achieving your vision and your goals.
