You Play to Win

You Play to Win
“Each player must accept the cards that life deals him
or her. But once in hand one must decide how to
play the cards in order to win the game.”
Voltaire 1694 – 1778, French Writer, Historian
and Philosopher

As I see it . . . . . . .
Play to win

You have the cards of life in your hands . . . . now what do you do?

You play to win.

Some people go through life trying not to lose . . . . and they will not play the cards of life that they were dealt. Rather then risking the cards they have they just don’t use them . . . . or play them. They go through life defensively . . . . and won’t mount an offence to push forward, to success or to win.

They’re in their comfort zone . . . . and in their safety of not trying.

There is another group of people that don’t know where their cards are . . . . and will stand on the sidelines without ever engaging or becoming part of the game. They will continually lose ground . . . . and will fall so far behind they won’t even be in the game.

There is a small and very effective group of people that are the winner in life. They play the cards that they were dealt without complaining about the cards.

You where dealt a hand of cards . . . . you didn’t ask for them but now they’re your cards . . . . and you own them. The choice is now yours on what you do with the cards you have. You can complain about the cards which will take you eye off your objectives . . . . or you can play the cards to win.

What you do is your choice . . . .

Make the best uses of the cards you have . . . . and take the cards that you were dealt . . . . and play them to win.

To play to win is in the choice of your attitude. If you can’t change your cards, change the way you look at your cards . . . . and change the way you play the cards. But also play to win.

The Trait of Persistence is Connected to Success

The Trait of Persistence is Connected to Success
“If I had to select one quality, one personal characteristic
that I regard as being most highly connected with
success, what ever the field, I would pick the
trait of persistence.”
Richard DeVos, Amway co-founder

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The trait of persistence connected to success

There is one common trait that continually shows up in successful people . . . . it’s the quality of persistence.

They are the people that will make the extra effort to achieve their objectives. They will also keep going when others quit . . . . and they will see things though to a successful conclusion.

Commit yourself to success . . . . and commit yourself to remain persistence.

One quality highly connected to success is persistence . . . . and persistence is the fuel that powers your success journey.

The trait of persistence connected to success . . . . and that determination will become the winners edge in achieving your goals.

A Change in Attitude is the Solution to a Problem

Inspirational Power Quote

A Change in Attitude is the Solution to a Problem

“There can only be one solution to any problem;
a change in attitude and in consciousness.

Through the power of consciously focusing on
the things that we create in our imagination,
we give them the ‘nudge’
that brings them through the barrier
from the unreal to the real.

And herein we find the secret of propelling
our heart’s desires from the state
of imagination to the reality of our everyday lives:
It’s our ability to feel as if our dreams
have already come to life,
our wishes are fulfilled,
and our prayers already answered.”
Gregg Braden, New York Times best selling author and Visionary

As I see it. . . . . . . .
We see the world through our attitude; it controls our thoughts, our actions, and our lives. When we change our attitude we change our world and our lives.
