You Create Your Destiny

Motivational Power Quote

You Create Your Destiny
You were not born a winner,
and you were not born a loser.
You are what you make yourself to be.”
Lou Holtz, football coach

As I see it. . . . . . . .

You create your destiny

Some people born into . . . . privilege and some are not.

Privilege doesn’t make the person who they are . . . . it just a condition.

Each person creates their path though life . . . . and they will decide what path they will follow.

You create your own destiny . . . . not by who you become. But by starting where you’re at with the resources you have available to you. . . .  and by first by developing your character.

You become a bi-product of your character . . . . and over time your character molds you into who you become.

Character is not a function of privilege . . . . character is the thin slice that separates a person from the pack into a select group of people of trustworthiness.

You create your destiny . . . . when you develop your character and apply it in your daily life in a successful manner.

The Simple Truth

Motivational Power Quote

The Simple Truth
“You’ll never get mixed up if you
simply tell the truth.
Then you don’t have to remember
what you have said,
and you never forget
what you have said.”
Sam Rayburn, former US Speaker of the House

As I see it. . . . . . . .

The simple truth . . . .

Telling the truth builds our credibility with others and shows us to be a person of integrity.

When we tell the truth we don’t have to remember what we said because where’ve telling others is the truth and the truth remains the truth in our memory.

Telling the truth creates a consistency in what we say and a bond of trustworthiness between people.

We won’t forget the truth and it always there to draw on when it’s needed.

The simple truth is the truth is the truth . . . .
