Motivational Power Quote
The Value of Good Friends
“False friends are like our shadow,
keeping close to us while we walk in the sunshine; but leaving us the instant
we cross into the shade.”
Christian Nestell Bovee 1820 – 1904, author
As I see it . . . . . . .
The value of good friends
Good friends are amazing people they
never seem to ask much from us and yet they will stand at our side when we need
them without being asked.
A good friend will encourage us; lend us
a helping hand and a listening ear.
At times we underestimate the value of their
friendship and what they bring into the relationship and into our lives. They
should be valued like the precious resource that they are.
Some of our friendships will have a
strong bond and will last a lifetime and be a mutual benefit. While others will
be like ships passing in the night, a brief encounter as we sail away in difference
directions.
You will know who your good friends are by
all the things that they do for you without asking for something in return.
Strengthen your relationships with your good
friends. Clear a wide path away from the people who are only around you when
they think that they can get something from you and then head for the doors
when they think they can’t.
The value of good friends can’t be
measured by money, and their far more valuable then precious metals their the
special people in your life.
